A wonderful ride! My husband and I rode from Sandusky to put in bay last Saturday. The ride was smooth and relaxing! The caption was great - very professional and experienced. We did stay at the breakers hotel so we wanted to leave from the cedar point dock but we found out that it doesn’t run from CP on Saturday’s. Also if you’re wanting to go on a Saturday, purchase tickets in advance. Just an FYI because we had some conflicting information but eventually figured it all out.
Just took a 24 hrs trip. The hostess and buds driver were fantastic very helpful . I liked the trip and will be looking into other outings. The bus ( looked quite new) was very roomy and a great ride. No complaints here. My wife (decesed) and I had done a fer trips....is why I chose Anderson....and will again.Thanks to all. David Games
It was a fast ride over to the islands. I gave it 3 stars because it was way too expensive since it was basically just a ride to the island! $253 for 6 people can blow your budget quick! If you have the money to spare then by all means do it.
Jet Express is a great choice if youre going to any of the lake Erie Islands. Just an FYI if youre planning on leaving from Sandusky on a Saturday arrive very early in the morning. They dont allow reservations from that port and the boats fill up very quickly.
The boat is real nice kid friendly and a bathroom on board not that expensive either $20 for adults so $40 round trip.

This does not go straight to PutNBay,stops at cedar point then kellys iland then putnbay! Was suppose to get to PutNBay at 11:20 and got there at 12:50 ! I think they have a Jet Express at Port Clinton and I will be going there next time and straight to PutNBay ! The cost was $40.00 Plus tax round trip from Sandusky ! I dont know what it would be going from Port Clinton,maybe cheaper !

There is no better way to the islands than Jet Express! Great ride, Great view and the experience overall is always superb. This was my 5th time using them, I will return in the future.

Horrible customer service!!! They are on their own time and once they have your money they could care less. We arrived in the morning 10 minutes early and they were 15 minutes late. Arrived on time in the afternoon and the boat pulled out early. They saw us walking up, blew the horn and left. The guy at the dock was rude and condescending. When presented with the facts he got more unprofessional and belligerent. Won’t use again.
The fastest way to get to the the famous Lake Erie Islands. This year they added a special daily stop at Cedar Point. For public transportation its a nice way to get around. Very pricey.

Not someone to provide negative feedback, but I wanted to warn others to stay clear of this ferry service. I bought 2 round trip tickets for $66 (extortion compared to the other boat services) and was not provided a recipt, the clerk didnt inform us that the return was subject to sell out or change. We ended up stranded on the island 3 hours longer than we wanted to leave.
Good option to hop across the water to Cedar Point Park. My two teenage girls and I took the ferry twice. Both times the return trip was 15 to 20 minutes late. The cost of $10 per person round trip meant we were spending $30 a day for the ferry. On our last day we decided to just drive and park at Cedar Point. That was $20 and if we had purchased the parking tickets with our Cedar Point tickets it would have been $10 I believe. The Ferry itself was clean and there was ample space on the boat. If I was by myself then it probably would have made more sense I guess.
Pretty cheap, and very fast. I went from Sandusky to Put-in-bay and it only took 20 to 30 minutes. Very comfortable as well, and not a bad price for going to the islands
It was a fun ferry to Kellys island it was a good experience for me and my daughter a boat ride on lake erie.
Great service and people...they patiently explained the life jacket and flashing bouy to my granddaughter!
There are ferry boats that carry cars and trucks but this isnt one of those. It only carries people but it is the fastest one on Lake Erie. It really is jet propelled and its so much fun to ride.

Usually late, rude staff, overpriced and an ignorant ticketing scheme. Monopoly in faster than tug boat transportation is why we use them, all of their said traits are why we use them less than we would otherwise

EZ-PZ fastest way to Put-n-Bay. The crew is friendly and helpful. The scenery is nice and the ride was fairly smooth and enjoyable even though the lake was quite choppy.In my opinion, if you want to get there quick, this is the best way to go.
Much faster than the other ferries in the area, ample parking in the long term lot and friendly staff make this on e a no brainier if you are in a hurry to get the party started.

The Jet, while quick, is a very... Interesting experience. Its loud, people are drunk even heading to the island, people are yelling, and generally there is no common courtesy. Its a wild free for all on the lake. Its not even that quick, the whole ride from Sandusky to Put In Bay takes like 45 mins, only thing it has going for it is it runs late, which attracts even more drunks, and it drops you off down town. In all honestly take the Miller Ferry and save like $25 (only $15 round trip) and pay $2.50 for a shuttle to downtown... Jet is not worth it.
A little pricey and the restrooms at port are repulsive in downtown Sandusky. The boat itself is nice. Crew members also very nice.

Very very fast speedboat that takes you from Sandusky to Kelley’s Island to Put In Bay all within an hour. Very clean and nice service.

Good Service and Excellent Pricing. They charge about 1/4th the amount for children, thats significant savings.
They ask for you to pick a return time when you buy your ticket, but if your boat is full its first come first serve in line to get back. We missed two boats because our boat was broken for our return time and then the next time an hour later they only took 18 people on board (line jumpers and it didnt matter if you had already missed the broken boat). We ended up with a return time 3 hrs later than our original time. There were line jumpers and chaos in line of people panicking to get on the next boat back in case they only took 18 people again. TAKE THE MILLER FERRY, ITS CHEAPER AND I HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. Oh, and no refunds if your boat is three hours late.
This is most certainly the better of the two popular ferries for put in bay. Spend the extra money and use Jet Express.
