Breakwater Expeditions was such an amazing experience not just the group dynamics but how much I gained from the trip as a whole. I didn’t realize how much I needed this experience and how much it helped me transition into college life! I was reminded of why I loved expeditions like this after wilderness therapy being a not so great experience. Todd and the Breakwater team put together an amazing 3 day backpacking trip in Yellowstone on short notice. Todd asked for our goals on the trip and designed the perfect itinerary for a physical challenge with two fairly inexperienced backpackers. Todd took care of every detail with some nice touches in pillows and wine! Would use them again for further adventure travel.

AMAZING experience for our 15 year old daughter. She came out of 10 months of therapeutic boarding school and Angie and team went over and above to work with ava during through the trip. We recently took a Breakwater Expedition to Costa Rica. Had an incredible experience! I felt that the trip was catered to the needs of our students with the ability to be flexible where needed or add in additional activities/tours if possible. (She might not want to do that all the time ;) All the while thinking very strategically and bringing to the table the experience and know-how to combine the comforts of home and a gourmet menu with the challenges of outdoor cooking for our NOURISH retreat.
