Terrible gel nails, peeled off within a week. I went back to have them reapply the Polish. Not only did they want to charge me but they accused me of taking off the gel polish to get a free polish change. I can tell you that I dont have time to waste on such a dubious plan. The woman there called me a liar and yelled profanity at me. I recommend that you stay away. There are so many better nail salons in San Rafael.

I loved this place, It’s been a struggle for me to find a really good place where the people are friendly and do a good job with your nails with reasonable prices... I’ve been all over novato and San Rafael trying different places and this is definitely THE ONE!!! I got my gel manicure and pedicure done over a week ago and they’re still looking great plus they are so friendly and take the time to do a perfect job and get you relaxed while doing it... I will definitely stay with them!!

I came here with my roommate 10 minutes before closing and they were super welcoming! They were patient as we chose colors and made sure every nail was perfect. It was a great first experience.

Its easy to get an appointment but easier to get cut with that dremmel, no joke. Every time I just wait for it. I thought thats NOT THE GOAL but it appears to a result. Only one woman does fills. The older woman and man are for appearances.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!My usual salon (lovely nails)was booked so I tried Lana’s Nails for a mani/pedi. The gel pedi went reasonably well although the manicurist was obviously inexperienced- it took him 90 minutes to complete. The manicure, however, was a disaster. The pedi guy painted the sticky glue substance on the front and back of my fingernails, which bonded my fingernails to the skin! When I pointed this out, he took a drill-like apparatus and attempted to drill out the glue under my nails. This caused significant pain and bleeding under my nails which caused me to YELP several times. I then called over the manager who said there was nothing wrong and this was “normal”, although she resumed the drilling, causing even more pain and bleeding. She tried to staunch the bleeding by stuffing cotton under my nails. It was now over 3 hours and we were not even close to color application. I selected the color, gave the number, and the manicurist proceeded to use the wrong color. By this time, I just wanted to get out. I told the manager I was not going to pay for the manicure since I would need to get my fingers unglued and repainted the next day - elsewhere- and asked how much I owed. When she said $100, I refused and placed $60 on the table ( more than generous I thought), causing her to scream about how much time they had spent on me and how I owed them at least $100. Not my fault that they didn’t know what they were doing, I replied, and left.This is the first time I have ever written a scathing review but felt obligated to warn others about this place!

Eyebrow tinting is good. Customer service is so-so...
