Moved last year after using Neuhaus Service for the three years I lived in San Rafael. In over 40 years of owning a car, this is one of THE BEST mechanic shops around. It came recommended from a friend whod had his cars worked on here for years. Jack is honest, reasonable, and always had things done and ready when promised. I will miss being able to use this shop. If you want good, solid service at a great price, dont pass this up.

Jack is an amazing mechanic. My dad has been using his services for 5 years and now that I’m driving he brought me to Neuhaus as well. The morning of my behind the wheel test we showed up exactly at 8 because the night before my headlight had gone out and we needed it changed right away. Jack took about 5 minutes to diagnose and solve the problem. He then refused any payment because it was a “simple” repair. But for me it meant the difference between taking my driving test and not. He sent us on our way with plenty of time to spare. I will never go anywhere else.

I was referred here by a friend after my usual mechanic that Id been going to for years sadly went out of business. As someone who doesnt know anything about cars it can be a little daunting trying to find a new mechanic. I am so so happy I came here! They are so friendly and based on the myriad of problems Jack helped me with the price was more than fair. Jack was kind, helpful, and happy to share his knowledge. Jack is a throwback to the times of honest people.I was referred to him by Costco to solve a problem years ago, and now the whole family uses him.Not cheap, by some measures, but always a value and owns up to any issues.

Jack was actually referred to me by a service tech at the Lexus Dealership. He solved my transmission issue with ease and very little expense. He has shown himself, to be honest, highly competent and a good value. Twice this year he has bailed me out of issues that could have been a much larger expense elsewhere. Neuhaus Service was recommended to me by a work colleague several years ago. Since then, my wife and I have been taking our two Subarus there for servicing and repairs (one is 20 years old) and have always been pleased with the quality of their work, as well as their honesty, reasonable pricing, and personal way of treating customers. They are unquestionably the best auto repair service I have ever used.
