We purchased our new Lexus 2006 LX 470 and with it we have enjoyed many carefree years of motoring. Then we noticed the almost new battery would go dead frequently. We brought it to our service advisor, Len Temple, at Lexus of Marin. We have brought it to Len over the years because we have found him to be the best service person we have ever met. As always, he was once again super competent and scrupulously honest. Not only that but he has a very pleasant manner which has always made him a pleasure to deal with. I do not normally write reviews, but in Len Temples case I thought it was only right for me to do so. It turned out there was a simple electric short in the cars skylight. It was fixed and we were on our way again. We only have 65,000 miles on the vehicle, and intend to keep the car till at least 300,000 miles, which will take about another 28+ years. Happy and safe motoring to all of you!
I had a small tune up on a new car and cant evaluate but assume it was okay. I am giving 2 starts because I asked about the car being cleaned during the service, and the person on the line said it was not extensive, but the car came back filthy. Completed in a perfunctory manner, even after I took the time to take everything out of the trunk and glove compartment. Neither these or the seats were even vacuumed at all and even under the seats I found an old cup. I think they gave a quick vacuuming to the floor pads right in front and not even the back.I thought I would try Marin since they offered valet service but I am back to Oakland Lexus as the people are incredibly customer friendly also!
I booked the appointment at the last moment and still got in, had wonderful service and a very polite service rep.

Pleasant waiting room; serviceperson (Les?) met and explained all work to be done; also able to omit services that werent needed; double-checked with me. Gave an approximate expense (so I wont have sticker shock).Work was completed in the time he quoted. Thank you.
My service person was very courteous and told me my maintenance service would take 2 hours. He checked in with me and said my car would be done in 10- 15 minutes and that it was being washed. Informed me that everything was good.
My professional and knowledgeable service advisor is Len. He knows his business and doesn’t try to “up-sell” service packages. Last service my rear brakes were worn and rotors needed work. Rather than replacing rotors Lexus refinished them which in my opinion was an example of doing work only needed.
Yes, I am happy with the services that I got for my car from Lexus of Marin. Len Temple is the best in my opinion and he has been taking good care of my car each time my car got services by him. Thanks 😊🙏
They always do a good job and the proof is that my car has 195,000 miles and drives like a new car without any issues.It would have been nice if they reminded me that they were not going to wash it because of the MMWD restrictions, and not sanitize it either.

Initial Service Rep. promoted a Mtce requirement that was not necessary, causing undue costs. Later corrected by Service Mgr.
They do great work, very thorough. And the loaner Lexus is a great touch. Be prepared to pay a little more than average, though.

They made repairs conveniently, gave me a loaner and even offered to return my car when it was finished. Did just the work that needed to be done and not the worst case scenario I approved.
Excellent service
This is one of the first times in a LONG time that Ive brought my vehicle somewhere and it cost me exactly what they told me it was going to cost me when I dropped it off! They didnttry to lie about it needing new tires or try to have me pay for repairs or services that werent needed. For once it was just what it was supposed to be and it was done in the time quoted! Very happy!!
