I have been a patient of Manyak Dental Group since they took over the practice from my previous dentist, who retired.I cannot praise them enough. Dr. Manyak, Dr. Morgan and the dental hygienist, dental assistant team, and front office team are thorough, professional, and exceptionally skilled.They run a modern, technically updated, professional and caring operation.-I have had fillings replaced, old crowns replaced, Invisalign treatment, etc. over many years.I’ve NEVER experienced any pain, and the doctors always explain in detail the treatment plans.-Although I have a dental plan through work, they are technically “out of network “ for me, but I simply refuse to look elsewhere for my dental care, based on the knowledge, craftsmanship, and thorough care I have experienced here.-(When I was younger, I unfortunately had some “less than stellar” dental experiences. You truly get what you pay for).-I am extremely satisfied with the care, work, and treatment procedures I have had at Manyak Dental Group.

This is the best dental clinic I have ever been to in my life!!! My Hygienist is the bomb! Everyone in the office is so kind and they make you feel comfortable. I love how they educate you on how to keep up on your oral care, especially if you have medical conditions. It was a lot of information I did not have a clue about when it came to my teeth/gums and having diabetes. Im very satisfied 😊

What an incredible experience! Dr. Manyak and her whole staff took me, my husband, and 2 kids right away!  We are incredibly impressed with the measures they have taken during COVID, literally incredibly impressive!!!  I can honestly say, I just got the most detailed cleaning I have ever gotten in my entire life.  I also love the fact that they reminded me about the appointments, as you know life is busy and you forget. I was also very impressed by the initial dental exam we received [they check for cancer, if your gums are healthy, etc].  Then, we went over everything and she recommended what was needed. Overall, they are the nicest most lovely people -  I am always going to be so thankful for the dedication to their work & the compassion in their hearts.

Far and away the best experience I have EVER had at any dentist. Dr. Manyak is thoughtful, talented and superb at her job. She identified several issues that had been neglected by my previous dentist(s) and I’m so happy to be in her care. The staff, from front desk to assistants to hygienists, are professional and courteous. I adore working with Jillian, my hygienist. She is thorough, knowledgeable and leaves me feeling squeaky clean! Also, they are using some very impressive technology at this office which is so helpful for me as a patient (including being able to see real time digital photos of my teeth).

I visited Manyak Dental for my first appointment since the COVID lockdown. I was so impressed at the numerous measures the office has taken to keep both the patients and staff safe.Before and after each patient the room is disenfected and misted with hypochlorus spray. The Dr’s, assistants and hygienists are so covered in protective gear, that you can only see their eyes behind their face shields. There is an external suction placed by your face and a new internalsuction placed inside your mouth.They still offer exemplary technologically advanced dentistry on top of all their safety protocols. The front desk staff sit behind plexiglass shields and are so friendly and helpful. I love Dr. Manyak and my hygienist, Jackie. I feel so well taken care of by the two of them.Manyak Dental put any fears of returning to a dental office at ease. I doubt that there is any other office instituting such meticulous protocols for your protection and the welfare of your dental health.

Every visit to Doctor Manyak office is a pleasure. Everyone knows your name. Dr Manyak knows my sensitivities. She wants to make every experience as pleasant as possible. Today I needed a new crown. They milled the crown in the office so it as only one trip for this. I live in San Francisco and make the trip because I feel taken care of heard. The best!

Dr Manyak did an amazing job capping my tooth last month. She used a less invasive technique that left more of my healthy tooth structure intact. I believe that she extended the life of that tooth. She began with a precise laser mapping of my existing tooth. This precision allowed me to save money by not forcing me to replace my costly bite plate. So, she preserved more of my naturally strong tooth structure and saved me money! She is also gentle and fast. Her staff are exceptional as well.

I recently had to get 2 crowns done and decided to get them both done at the same time. Dr. Morgan is a new dentist for me and she was very thorough, patient and gentle throughout the process. One of the temporary crowns popped off on a Friday evening, the office called me back that Saturday and they were able to get me in that morning to see Dr. Morgan. Turns out my permanent crowns were ready and the work was completed a week earlier than expected. I was referred to Dr. Manyak by my former dentist Dr. Sylvie Galerneau who has since retired after more than thirty-two years of dentistry. My family and I get our teeth cleaning done 4x a year at Manyak Dental Group. The place is always warm and inviting. The front staff greets us by name. Every cleaning visit, we see Jaclyn Encinas. Let me lead with what I disliked first: I went in for a second opinion on a non-routine procedure I was asked to get from my regular dentist. The dentist asked me repeatedly why I did not trust my current dentist, (implicitly, whats wrong with me .. etc). They suggested I come in for more frequent cleanings (every 3 months). So I scheduled a check-in at 3 months.Then about two months later I receive a call from the dentist saying that shes uncomfortable with patients who come in for second opinions and to be honest ... I need to reevaluate my trust issues and why I dont trust this or that dentist! I was really made to feel incredibly uncomfortable with that phone call. To me it seem unprofessional behavior verging on getting personal. She was also pressuring me to make a decision .. either I go with her and get the whole work-up done or stay with my current dentist. But I need to switch or decide now!Which doctor you choose is a personal decision, but if a doctor is pressuring you to decide and calls up just to say I feel uncomfortable with second opinions and you need to look at trust issues... etc, its unbelievable.In truth, the technical skill and competence was high and they seemed to do a thorough job when I was last there but I think the doctor there needs to trust her patients and simply do her job and let patients decide (its their mouth and money) and not get personal with them or make them feel uneasy with odd phone calls.

Of course, no one really enjoys going to the dentist and pretty much tries to avoid it as much as possible. I have to say, not that I rushing over to Dr. Manyaks on a daily or weekly basis but every time I go there I am treated with the utmost care and comfort then any dentist office I have ever been to.I have not only known Dr. Manyak for the last 20 years and have trusted her with the dental care of my three daughters but the entire staff of assistants: Gloria, Mary and Pong are top notch. Need a great hygienist? they have some of the best with Jackie, Jillian, Sandra and my private hygienist Maria.Of course, the operation cant function without the backbone of the organization and the amazing Front Office team of Dan and Jennifer.Look no further, this group has you covered. They are all truly professional at what they do...

I moved up to Northern California 4 years ago from Orange County, and continued to put off finding a new dentist.  My smile was fine, and nothing hurt - until it did.On Saturday, I knew something went wrong.  I was in a ton of pain, and didnt know what was happening but knew I needed to get it checked out.Monday morning, I called Dr. Manyaks office.  I didnt sleep much due to the fear of cost, and with the pain I scared myself into thinking my tooth was going to need to be pulled.They found time, and scheduled me in for the next day.  Not only was the entire office kind and calming, I felt safe.Everyone on the team continued to reassure me that this happens all the time, I am surprisingly NOT the only one avoiding the dentist, and they were here to help.The whole office was kind, supportive, and understanding.  The minute the numbing shot went in, the pain went away and hasnt returned.Not only did I get what I needed, but I stayed for an appointment cleaning, have no cavities and left with a big smile.The office team was willing to support me and help me figure out payment options relieving a HUGE stresser about going since I dont have dental insurance.I am so grateful for the team at Manyak Dental Group and HIGHLY recommend you give them a call.

I fell asleep in the dentist chair today. Really! It’s true! And it was not the first time either. Imagine this, I’m asleep while my dentist is drilling in my mouth getting it ready for a new crown. How is that possible? It’s because I was sitting in the most comfortable chair ever, my mouth was numb because of the local anesthetic, I had a special, top of the line apparatus inside my mouth that allowed me to relax my jaw instead of having to keep it open and finally, I was treated by the best, and I mean the BEST dentist I’ve ever met. Seriously, and don’t take my word for it. Dr Tanya Manyak and her dental office have been voted the best in the peninsula for 12 straight years!Everyone there is so sweet and personable. Jackie, my hygienist, Mary, the assistant, the receptionists... they walk me through the steps, they ask for my opinion, they include me in their conversations and they provide me with ample information about my dental health. They really do care about their patients. I am shown all the X-rays and am told about each and every step of my treatment. Ya know, at that rate, pretty soon I can join the staff 😉.Oh! And another thing, you know how when you get a new crown the dentist gets an impression and sends it to a lab somewhere and you have to wait for a week or so with a temporary crown in your mouth? Then you have to take more time off from work to come in for another appointment to put in the permanent crown? Such a drag right? Well, at Dr Manyak’s office the permanent crowns are milled right there in the office! They have their own software lab that does that while you wait! So cool! And if Dr Manyak is not completely satisfied with the results, she’ll make a new crown. She’s such a perfectionist.But that’s not all! This evening I got a call from Dr Manyak herself. She called me just to check on me. To see how I’m doing. Does your dentist do that? If not, I suggest you switch. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Dr Manyek. A year ago you did a tooth implant for my husband. It is supposed to be permanent. Yet a year later we are visiting India and his implant came off. The dentists here in India do not have the screws as they are in metric system. You should have provided us the specifications of the implant says the local dentist. We are disappointed in your implant procedure.

Preventative Care and the Path to a Perfect SmileIt is very refreshing to have a dentist who looks at dealing with the cause rather than the effect.In my case, after many decades, my teeth had shifted to the point that there was now a serious chance of the incorrect alignment leading to damage.The options were quite straightforward: do nothing and then deal with the damage through fillings, crowns, etc.Alternatively look at taking preventative action and go through a process to align my teeth to their perfect positions.Dr Manyak was outstanding and proposed preventative path of realigning my teeth using Invisalign.I had a vague idea of what this would entail, but, Dr Manyak walked me through the whole process taking the time to explain all the details.Following a quick image scan of the inside of my mouth an automated Invisalign plan was generated and showing how all my teeth would be reorientated.Less than two weeks later, the aligners were available for me to pick up and get started with the program. So equipped with my aligners, I set about the process.The first week using the aligners was just the first set of the aligners. At the time it was hard to answer the question - “How does it feel” as I had no real frame of reference as to how this should feel.The following week some light work was required to place ‘anchors’ onto my teeth.These were invisible and easily polished off at the end of the process. But they served to anchor my teeth to the aligners for maximum effectiveness.With the anchors in place, I was surprised to find how much tighter the aligners felt. The process had really begun.The first few days were quite uncomfortable, but, I kept reminding myself that I opted to do this and I should stop complaining. … :-)After a few days things settled down and I started to get used to the aligners, or as used to them as you I could get.The biggest adjustment was getting used to the fact that every time I ate something, I needed to brush and floss my teeth. …This is a good/bad news scenario! Why? Because constantly brushing and flossing y teeth got very old, very quickly!As a result, I stopped snacking between meals! This is a great thing if you want to lose weight!As the weeks rolled by, the adjustments being made by the Invisalign aligners became more pronounced.The interesting thing was that each new set of aligners stopped being painful, only a little tight. This tightness disappeared after the first few hours of wear.Interestingly wearing the aligners became almost second nature and after a while I hardly noticed that I was wearing them.At the end of the process as I switched over to retainers, it seemed odd to think that I had completed the process and would no longer need to go through the cyclic process of changing aligners.So, looking back - I think that the Invisalign process has been very worthwhile! Dr Manyak worked through all steps of the process witIh me, helping me to understand how the process was progressing and was was next.She really made the whole process very open and almost enjoyable. I would recommend Dr Manyak and the Invisalign process to anyone who wants to look to preventative care and a perfect smile! :-)Thank you Dr Manyak!

Dr Manyak and her team have been taking care of my entire family for years. Nothing stands in the way of their excellency - economy, COVID, climate change, or politics - they are still the best dental office one can find! Impeccable service, punctuality, attention to the job at hand, proactive approach, honesty and straight-forward treatment plans. This never changed. I wanted to put veneers on my teeth, but dr. Manyak insisted on making corrections with Invisalign first. After years of deliberation I finally agreed. 1 year after treatment - my teeth are better, straighter, and healthier. Also - will need only a few veneers instead of the entire mouth, so entire job will be only a fraction of the anticipated cost. My only regret is that I didnt take dr Manyaks advice sooner! For regular maintenance - I am coming in for regular cleanings every 3 months. The hygienists are amazing - thorough, gentle, and attentive. Somehow I always leave that office with a smile on my face!
