The haircut was mediocre. If you want to be dominated in conversation by someone who has a sharp object to your head go here. They know everything (or they think they do). I was given a lecture on Japanese American history. Mind you, I am Japanese American and I’m well aware of my cultual heritage.I called ahead of time being sure to make an appointment due to Covid. They told me to just come in (in a hasty tone) and that they will be gone at 6. Thankfully they fit me it and got me taken care of. The dialogue just made me uncomfortable since she ran the entire conversation and was not open to any comments or anything I had to say.

Been coming here in and off since I lived in the San Mateo area. I recently moved to San Jose and have recently come back during the pandemic to get cuts here and its always worth the extra drive. Gloria is very professional and very easy to talk to. Its a relaxing environment and she makes you feel very comfortable. Even during the pandemic and all the strict guidelines that are presented, she follows them in accordance and makes you feel safe. Highly recommend to anyone near or far!

The owner was nothing short of awesome. I have been to two other people during this pandemic and both butchered my hair. This nice lady cut it perfectly and in about 10 minutes start to finish. I absolutely recommend 💯.

FANTASTIC experience. Walk-ins welcome so they are great in a pinch, do require cash only but its fine because its what I do normally anyways. Gloria always makes sure youre comfortable and happy and has the best time you can. I dont know the guys name but if youre going to get a haircut from All Star I would recommend not getting him. Works way too fast and doesnt pay attention to details. Love this place and will be my future barber :)

Disappointing is an understatement. It was a Saturday and I was in urgent need of a trim. Unfortunately my regular barber was unavailable this weekend and I had to settle for an alternate. One stylist with a walk in basis is how this barbershop was functioning on Saturday evening which was just not efficient, but I decided to wait and take the plunge.I requested for a fade on my sides with a one and two clipper while the top to have the hair length from a three clipper with more hair in the front for styling. Nothing was achieved . The haircut was bland and for 30$ there was absolutely no styling, no fading, or any sharpness in the cut. Might as well gone to supercut or similar.The other thing which irked me was the way the clippers, scissors, brushes, etc. were not sanitized between clients. They are all kept in a bunch on the table behind the barber who takes and uses as needed. I had a beard trim along with the haircut and hair from the clipper went into my eyes, only god knows whose hair that was. Also, my beard trim resulted in removal of most of my beard, which was clearly adding salt to an already badly injured wound.Wish they have more barbers/stylists or provide appointments which would be more efficient. Also, wish sanitary standards are not compromised!2 stars only for the hot towel at the end.Not going to head here again but thankfully its just hair and it will grow back!

I will keep coming here and will keep promoting her business because its probably the best barber shop in the peninsula do to the price and my sexy hair cuts I get every 3 weeks. Curls beware. Friendly and clean, but one of the worse cuts Ive had in a long time. Ive got curly hair, so you may have a better experience, but Ill be heading to my regular barber soon to see if she can fix this mess at all.

One barber 4 customers. on a friday you know you will be busy why not have the right coverage. hair cut was basic. i think the price was not worth the haircut. 25$ for a fade. dont understand the people rating this place so high they must never never been to a true barbershop. just because ypure store front says barbershop that doesnt make you one. it was more like a supercuts.

I went in to get a haircut l. Had to wait for 2 hours. Thought it was worth it but it was not. I was trying to get a clean/professional cut. She was not taking her time with my hair. Guess she was in a hurry. I dont blame her though, shes the only one working there. Left long hairs all over. Tapers were horrible. The fade was the worst. Uneven fade; one side was higher. The other side had a bump. If your looking for a clean/professional cut, this is not the place to go to. Not worth the $25.
