The person here is very unprofessional and very rude. He didn’t even cut my nails before adding extensions. The nails were shaped very unevenly and when I tried to tell him he could not even understand. I am extremely unhappy with the services. All the time I was getting my nails done he was so rude. Extremely worst with their services and unworthy of paying 45 dollars for their services.

I didnt plan on leaving a review, but felt this was necessary. I went in for a pedicure, which I never do but I planned on wearing heels the next day. The overall experience was fine, nothing special. I just got a normal polish, but my issue lies with how the nail tech did the actual pedicure. She was extremely rough and dug under my nails, which hurt a lot. It also stung a lot when she scrubbed the side of my toe with the rough scrubber(stone?). It ended up flaying the side of my toe. It even burns to have my foot under the shower. Personally, I wouldnt go back.

This was my first time visiting and I was excited about it since I was going with my friends. Our experience was not good at all and I am very unhappy with my nails. She overcharged me by wanting $90 for it to just be nail polish when I said I wanted dip. I have never payed that much to get basic nails that feel like they are going to break at any moment. The only reason she took $5 off was because she cut me and made me bleed. I also found it ridiculous that other people were charged less than I was with more complicated designs and pedicures.With this being said it I will never get my nails done here again.

Nice little place! I loved the orange peel massage. The pedicure itself was on point. The lady didnt do a great job with the nail polish though. She just painted the middle of the toenails to the tips. (So not to the cuticle area)

I drive in from NB to come here! If you’ve ever wanted an hour pedi where your legs are rubbed with chilled orange slices- yes, that’s a thing, then come get pampered here! You won’t regret it. I always thoroughly enjoy my visits!😁

Very unprofessional & the quality of work is poor! I will never go back to this place my POWDER set done by ema was breaking off within the next 2-3 days of me having them! I get powder sets ALL THE TIME & they last 2-3 weeks without me needing a fill & sometimes even longer if they are done correctly! NEVER AGAIN!

I cant remember they young man name who did my nails but he was nice and considerate (didnt talk much being that I tried to start a conversation lol). Great environment and they had some nice wine also. My real nails are awesome so he made sure that he kept it that way. Nails are thick and pretty like i like them. I recommend all you ladies and gents to try them out.

My experience there wasn’t great to begin with but I broke a nail while out of town and had to find somewhere to go. No one seemed to understand anything I said, I had to rip my hands away several times due to them not understanding very basic requests. And now all my nails are breaking within a couple days of getting them done and was overcharged. All the edges are sloppy and I’ve already had to fix most of them myself. Most of the people working were just plain rude both to myself and others in the shop. Very disappointed with the whole experience.

I got a full set from this place. They charged me $55 for a solid colored set of horribly thin acrylics. They started breaking the very next day and popping off. I came in one day after getting my set with broken nails and they told me they would charge me to fix them. This is a joke of a salon. I would give them zero stars if I could. Save your money and go anywhere else. The quality of work is horrible and the prices are expensive.

First time here. So close to Texas State University stadium. Pedicure and Manicure is advertised at $40 for basic...I got shellac. Very professional staff. There are 6 pedi chairs and one for the babies. Im sure that it will be busier when the semester starts. There is a Tea place to the right,and a Gattis pizza to the left.

This place is not nearly as bad as some people have reviewed, but it’s not somewhere I would choose as my go-to. I got a pedicure yesterday around 2 pm. I was the only person there. They charged me extra for shellac removal, which is silly considering I paid $15 extra to get shellac on my toes to begin with. My pedicure is ok, the paint is pretty streaky on one big toe but it’s not terrible. The tech scrubbed my feet for all of 30 seconds so my they don’t look like I got a fresh pedicure just yesterday. Overall, the place was quick and pedicure clean but I won’t be back.

I am very happy with the quality of my manicure and pedicure. Tina was very gentle and attentive to detail. She was also kind and very thorough. Usually nail techs rush through the job and leave a messy job but Tina did great. I got a shellac mani and regular pedicure and it came out to $57. I’d definitely visit B nails again.

Great customer service.. when they didn’t have the exact nail art they improved and created a really cool nail design to make up for it.. loved the customer service that was provided.

Woman who did my nails was dismissive of my wants & argued with me about my choices. While there, she argued with another customer about their choices. I ordered a full set & she didnt push back my cuticles, I did not see any bacteroal solution used, and the man who polished my nails was sloppy & only partially covered them with the 1st coat . When I asked him to touch it up, he said no need because he was doing a 2nd coat. You can clearly see where there is 2 coats verses 1. Not going back & will not recommend.

Another fantastic service this afternoon. Went in after 4 and even though they were busy with other patrons they made me feel welcome. I was asked if I could wait 15 minutes and I said yes. I didnt have to wait that long. Bailey got me seated and in no time my nails were done. While she was doing my nails she offered me a bottled water. I appreciated that. I chose a very pretty light blue, something akin to Robins egg blue. Easter is coming up and its Spring anyway so I thought, why not? They turned out beautifully. I am very pleased with the service I got. I will return. Thank you Bailey!

DO NOT RECCOMEND. Did not listen to my request. DIP NAILS started peeling ( how that happens is beyond me) and got mad at me when I came back to get them fixed 2 days later . Refused to refund or re do and removed the nails very painfully, cutting 3 of my cuticles. Left me with unhealthy hurting nails. Tommy does not care about how you feel one bit.

I visited B nails 3 times over the past semester. I would like to say that this nail salon is not fond of people who look like me. The head manager, Bailey is unhelpful. I went to get a powder fill and went back a couple days later because my nail broke and my color was not in the book. It was completely gone. I spent 1 hour trying to find it. She said, “oh we must have ran out” now I’m curious as to how you ran out of a sparkly plum color in 3 days? She was extremely unhelpful and rude and their powder color numbers are in the incorrect order. The one gray color I chose to fix that one nail — was not available because it’s pink in their closet. They do standard sets - they don’t know any nail art and cannot following a picture. Lastly, Bailey bashed on Alpha Nails the entire time my first set ever with them. If you’re a black girl or not, take your $ somewhere else.

This place was amazing! Bailey never fails to do exactly what I want. I brought in a pic & she nailed it! I also got the espresso pedicure, which was an amazing experience with different scrubs, salts, aromas, & a massage. 10/10 would recommend!

I wish I read the reviews before coming. The man there did my nails very rough. I had the powder dip. I constantly let him know it was hurting/burning. He said sorry once when I pointed out BLOOD. Then again when I showed him my hands bleeding he didn’t acknowledge I was speaking to him. Just asked if I liked the color. I answered by pointing to my open scratches. He never offered any discount or anything. He hardly cared. I gave no tip. He wasn’t happy. There are MUCH better places in SM to get your nails done and enjoy the experience.

Yes they did my nails and they look pretty good. However, I didn’t expect to have them done so aggressively. They are professional like others said but not friendly and inviting. Even if I had any questions I think I wouldn’t have asked. Getting your nails done should be relaxing and a pleasant experience and this was the opposite. I was also bleeding after my cuticle cleaning, which was a first for me. I’m not going back.

The man doing my toes was very rude and would address me by saying this like hello? with attitude to move my foot. He then got wax all over my expensive sandals and were not even going to say anything or clean them until I noticed and said something. They offered no compensation or discount, just a sorry about my now damaged sandals.

This place is a sad excuse for a business. I will not be returning here, i wouldnt recommend this place the staff here are rude, & aggressive, and un sanitary.

If I could give a 0 star I would... I had a guy nail tech that did my nails... I had red nails and I asked for a different color. He did not took the color off fully and you can see it... then he burned me many times and he kept grabbing my hands and fingers so roughly... place looks so dirty... I don’t think he even washed his hands after he finished with another girl but I was in too late to tell them nvm.... won’t come back he was rude... my fingers hurt from getting burnt

Save your coins! My bf and I got mani/pedis, my full set broke within a week and my bf’s polish was stained and chipped w/in the first few days since they not only rushed our $100+ services but laughed (did not ensure he was okay) when he stood up, hitting his head on their lamps..Avoid at all costs. Unsanitary & horrible customer service. Queen nails across the street is much better, just have an appointment.

I came in here a week ago with a friend and it was a decent experience. We both got our nails dipped (SNS). The problem was that we both had a nail break 2 days later. We are busy during the week, so we came in again on Sunday to get them fixed. The guy handed us a completely didn’t book than we had received previously, so we couldn’t choose our exact color. He kept telling us that it was the only book and our colors weren’t on there. He was just extremely rude and had the worst customer service. We were already upset that we had to come back in anyways, and then had to deal with this. I ended up finding my color, but my friend did not and now has one nail that doesn’t match the rest. Horrible experience, I don’t recommend and wish we could get our money back.

I have never felt inclined to leave a negative review for a nail salon, but my experience was terrible. The man doing my nails grabbed one of my hands while I was looking through the color book & immediately started drilling before I could even decide what I wanted to get done. He was rushing & very rough with my hands to the point he cut my fingers several times with the drill. The overall experience was way too rough & very painful. Once he put the activator on my nails he was in such a hurry & so messy with it that he got it into the cuts he made with the drill, which made them hurt ever worse. He never apologized when I was clearly uncomfortable & in pain during the time he was doing my nails. While drying, i looked at the reviews to see that this has happened to SEVERAL other people. Once I told the owner this she gave me a very forced “sorry” without any signs of empathy whatsoever. She said to just ask for someone else when I come back, as if I would ever return to this salon.

I have been going to SM Nails for seven months now, about every three weeks. I enjoy coming to this business not only because of the service, but because of the employees. I have gone to other locations here in town that have high ratings, but I have felt less than satisfied when I have left. This has never been the case for SM Nails. One thing I appreciate at this location is that they NEVER seem to be in a rush when taking care of me. Even when they are busy, I feel they truly want to ensure that I am fully satisfied with the service they are providing. I do not plan on every going any where else in town.

Reside in San Antonio...I stumbled onto this location by pure luck one evening after shopping at the outlet.And I have returned for my fills....I havent had much luck in finding a location back home that I was satisfied with...Speaking for myself the drive is well worth it.

They lie to their customers. No joke. I walk in and I tell them I want to get dip, the owner lady tells me “oh your nail so healthy, you get shellac” I said what is that? I want dip since it last long for me. She said “oh shellac last just as long.” 15 mins into the guy doing my nails, I hear the same lady ask this girl “do u want dip or shellac, dip last longer” She lied. So here I am with my nails all chipped just a week later.

Today was my first time here and I absolutely loved it! Best service Ive ever had in a long time. They have a ton of gel colors to choose from and very comfortable chair. My nails looked stunning at the end.

Every time I have gone here, my nails break within a week. Also for a full set, they rush through them in 25 min. Not only that, but the manager, Bailey, is extremely rude. I had a crack in my nail and she wanted to charge me 10$ to replace it. I said no its okay and she replied back with Dont come back here complaining your nail broke then. The nail never broke, but dont worry Bailey...I wont be coming back.

When I went in i had a good experience everyone was friendly. But literally a week later not one but TWO of my nails broke! Very disappointed considering I spent $50 + a tip.Update: I called to get my nails repaired and the lady who I spoke with wouldnt fix them without charging me because it had been more than a week. I find this ridiculous considering theyre supposed to last for two weeks. Because she refused I left with my still broken nails. And today another one of my nails broke completely in half taking my actual nail with it. Now I have two broken nails and a cracked and bloody one. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!

A girl named Ha did my nails and she was awesome. I love my manicure! I haven’t had a good manicure in a long time so this was a pleasant experience.

The staff was so considerate of my time frame for i had a work meeting shortly after coming in. I came in for my first time and they did a pedicure and a full set in record timing and my nails look great! My new go to nails place!! Next time I’ll be sure to enjoy the amazing foot massage a little more! Be back for my refill!

I have tried a lot of different salons in San Marcos over the years but no one can compete with this place. They have a HUGE variety of shellac colors, always super fast (but they don’t compromise on quality) and do an amazing job every time. They even offer refreshments while you are there. You won’t be disappointed!!!!!

I really like this place. I have been going here for a few years. I usually have one of the following things done...eyebrow and lip wax, manicure with dip nails or shellac and/or a pedicure. I love that I can go in and have one of these done and either have a lot of conversation or just simply relax and have very little conversation (which is usually what I prefer). Over the years I have gotten several compliments on the shape of my eyebrows and/or on the mani or pedi. I have gone to other places with friends but BNails is my comfort place.

I went in last week and got a full set. I showed a picture of the nails that I wanted. I was told that I could get the shape that I wanted, but as they were shaping them I asked for more like the picture, I was then told that the shape that I wanted could not be achieved. Okay, well too late to leave so I said fine.A few days later, my pinky nail broke. I did not catch it on anything or bang it on anything. I went in expecting a free fix, however it was $4.00 to fix it. Not a huge deal, just slightly annoying. The fixed nail also did not even match my other pinky nail. :/Fast forward to tonight, one week later and ANOTHER nail broke. Basically just fell off.It was $40.00 dollars not including tip that I spent at this nail salon and not even for a good nail job. This place simply sucks.

This place is horrible...if you value your cuticles do not come here! A friend of mine had a really nice set of shellac and I had been wanting to try it. She told me she went to this place...so I gave it a whirl. Bad decision...when they were prepping my nails for the shellac they had to work on my cuticles a lil...which was fine. However, they cut me on 8 different fingers!!! Yes...8 of 10 fingers they cut my cuticles. So, I told them to stop because I had blood all over the place. I paid them $11 for their manicure price (or something around that range) and I hightailed it out of there. I have no idea if their shellac or any of their other services are good...I was not going to stay there long enough for them to prove it. Anyhow, my nails/fingers hurt for a few days as my cuticles healed but I advise anyone not to go there!! The only good thing I can say was the tools they used were from a newly sanitized package...so that made me feel a little better.

Qyuin is a great nail tech. Has conversation with me while he does my nails & is very polite. He has been at this Salon 6 years, which has recently undergone new ownership. The atmosphere is nice & clean.

I normally don’t post bad reviews because I simply don’t like being negative towards people or situations, but I had to review this place due to the lack of cleanliness. I went in only to have my SNS nails removed. The place looked nice enough at first, but the experience only got worse. They are not friendly at all. They DO NOT soak nails off, they clip and rip. Like literally, the nail tech used a nail tip( the kind they keep in the little clear boxes with all the different sizes to do acrylics with) and wedged it between my real nail and false tip to rip it off. Not only was it painful, but it also ruined my natural nails. He then proceeded to use the electric file to get the rest of the nail off, but still managed to leave parts behind in the end. But this isn’t even the worst part. Everything he did while removing my nails, he did on top of the open tips box. Meaning MY nail clippings and powder from being filed were falling all inside the box of NEW tips that WILL BE USED ON SOMEONE ELSE. That disgusts me. It’s unsanitary on so many different levels. I’ve had bad nail services before, but the serious lack of hygiene measures is honestly what pushed me to leave this review. I HIGHLY recommend choosing another salon, even if you are just doing something simple like removing nails.

Second tine here and glad I gave them a second chance waaay better service than my first time. Pedicure was awesome and manicure was perfect. They actually offered me a margarita this time! ☺️ Definitely will be coming back.

Public Service Announcement: DO NOT GO HERE!!-Beyond AWFUL customer service-Rude People-They wont greet you nor get off their cell phone- I literally left in the middle of them taking off my toe polish because they wanted to charge me extra for cutting my nails when I simply wanted a polish change. I dont know about how they do their nails, but if you do go here DO NOT GET ANY WAXING DONE HEREDoing my eyebrows are relatively easy. My eyebrows are tattooed, so all you have to do is wax the bits outside the tattoo and youre good. I even told her to just go along my tattoos. When she missed an area underneath my arch and told her to do it again. She didnt wax any of hair I wanted off...However, she managed to get wax skin off instead and now I have two scabs underneath my arches now.Afterwards, I made the mistake of asking to get my sideburns waxed as well. Im pretty sure if she didnt know what sideburns were. When I asked her to do it, she had to ask another guy working here something and then she waxed me without waxing off my sideburns??!? I realized I wasnt going to get what I wanted done here so I left with messy eyebrows and sideburns which was the opposite of what I came there for.

DO NOT GO HERE! Not only did they do a horrible job on my friends and my nails, they were the rudest people I have ever met in my life. The woman in charge argued with us about the price and tried to charge us for services we did not ask for, and when we refused to pay for these services she would not back down and continued to yell at us. I have absolutely no idea how they are even still in business!

The staff was inviting and friendly. The salon was clean and well attwned to. The pedicurist really knew what he was doing. The massage with the spa pedicure was super relaxing. Even though I messed up the polish twice, they fixed it without any hesitation or complaints. Ill definitely be returning.

I went here for a gel manicure. Service was fast, just not quality. They rushed because they had a lot of customers and not a lot of staff. As a result, my cuticles were bleeding and still hurt the next day.manicure looked nice but just didn’t feel very nice when it was being done so quickly and in a rough manner.

Extremely overpriced I have been going here consistently lately and every time I go I noticed they make up some ridiculous price, I paid $40 for a new set of nails and go back for a fill today and was told the fill is $35 which is ridiculous especially because your only doing a small portion of the work and I waited 15-20 mins to here this bs and they were rude about it DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ! And I am a rewards member and have yet to get anything off from the so call program. I’m extremely disappointed and I hope someone soon does something about them !

After saying I need my eyebrows done was told to go that way, didnt do anything for me because Ive never been here before. Although a small place, no direction and no greeting. Wasnt asked how I wanted my eyebrows she just started going at it so of course I had to let her know. When she was finished she said all done and walked out of the room and TURNED OFF THE LIGHTS. Yes I was still in the room getting my belongings, while she stood at the cash register. I will definitely not be going back here. Customers do not come first.

SM nails, they did have such a lovely job on Creative shape for their clients. They did such a clean interior as well as making wonderful shape for their customers.

The worst service I have experienced in a long while. I had a schedule, and was mislead about the wait time. Not one person spoke to me. I was told 5min- it was 35min. Due to the lengthy wait time, I had to scrap two services and cut down the pedicure to a color change. I was charged the full amount of a $40 pedicure. When I called back inquire if this was correct, the person on the phone was incredibly rude.
