Very grateful for Ace Tutoring. We came for SAT help. I really didnt know what to expect because my son already had a score in the high 1300s. With Aces help, he improved into the 1500s - top 1%.I appreciated Steves honesty in offering no guarantees regarding score improvement (which are worthless guarantees anyways). His program isnt about tricks to beat the system or crack the code. Its straight-on work on the academic skills that the SAT tests for. If your child gives honest effort, I cant think of why Ace wouldnt be able to help. And my review wouldnt be complete without mentioning that the teachers are awesome.To top it off, Steves prices are very reasonable. For the in-person help you get, Im not sure anyone beats his prices.

I highly recommend Ace Tutoring! My son works with his tutors for help with AP Physics, AP Calc, and Honors Spanish III. Both Tim and Carol are so smart and patient, and have provided so much help with these challenging subjects. They help to break down the lessons and fill in the gaps from classroom instruction. Ace was especially valuable in preparing for midterms and finals. I also appreciate how flexible Ace is when my son needs extra time with the tutors or has to change days due to sports or appointments. My son is also working with Ace to prepare for the SAT and ACT. Working on test prep at Ace vs. at home makes a huge difference. It has helped with both his test taking speed and accuracy. The extra support provided by the tutors at Ace has been invaluable all around and definitely will help him be a stronger candidate when applying for colleges next year!

I came to Ace a few months ago because my son was failing geometry. Steve put a plan in place to get my son back on track that consisted of 3 days a week for the first month and then 2 days a week for the next two months. I immediately saw my sons test grades improve. He just took his final today and got a 91%. He finished the class with a B and I couldnt be happier! Many thanks to Steve and his team of tutors! We will definitely keep going because it really works!

My daughter had a great SAT practice score but wanted to leave no stone unturned in doing her best on the real thing. To be honest, I thought a kid with a quite-high practice score couldn’t improve too much with tutoring. However, I was wrong as her score improved by over 100 points, putting her at the highest level you can get in an SAT score without getting 100%. This has lightened her stress so much as she’s applying for colleges. She’s still working hard on her applications/essays, but having a high GPA and super high SAT score makes her feel a lot less like agonizing over them. So we are very grateful to ACE Tutoring!

My daughter went to ACE Tutoring of San Marcos all of her junior year to stay on track with AP Calc B/C. This was the best decision and best investment we could have made to relieve stress in this difficult academic year. She really liked Tim as a person and as a tutor. He not only kept her on track, he kept her one step ahead on assignments and provided her with a deeper understanding of Calc than she would have gotten in the classroom. It is wonderful she is getting an A in the class, but even more beneficial was the stress relief provided for us as parents, knowing we were doing all that we could to help her learn and do her best, and for my daughter, who excelled in this environment and built incredible confidence in very challenging math skills. My 9th grader has been going to Ace for several months and we have already seen an improvement in his overall grades, and more importantly, his confidence as a student. He looks forward to working with the tutors and feels supported with his school work. I only wish I had signed him up for tutoring years ago, but I will be sending my 4th grader as well to get her started down the path for more success in her education.

My 3 children have been with ACE for over 2 years now. My twins are now applying to colleges with super high GPAs and very high SAT thanks to ACE tutoring. They both increased their SAT scores by 200 points with the help of ACE. In addition, my youngest who is now a junior in high school has significantly increased his grades with the help of ACE. He has all As and Bs. At first he gave me a hard time, and didnt think he needed the help, but now he goes happily and reminds me to sign up for next semester. I am very grateful that I found ACE!

Ace Tutoring was recommended to me by a friends daughter a couple years ago when my son was struggling in math. PARENTS WITH COLLEGE BOUND KIDS---LISTEN UP! =)We first heard of Ace Tutoring when they were at our childrens middle school to administer the PSAT. We had kept Ace Tutoring in mind when it came time to have our son, then a junior in high school, to start prepping for the SAT and ACT. WOW. Talk about a well organized, family/student friendly environment. Ace Tutoring was very flexible with our sons after-school and summer schedule when it came to the required study sessions at the center---which we found very convenient and non-stressful. By the time the SAT and ACT exams were upon us, our son was more than prepared and ready because of the skills he had learned from the OUTSTANDING staff at Ace Tutoring. They concentrate on your childs strengths and weaknesses and provide that extra something to help them go into that test with a positive attitude and with extreme confidence.Let me just say this: when we had our initial meeting with Steve, the owner, he asked our son what college he wanted to go to. Our son replied, Duke and Steve said without any hesitation, Well, then lets get you there.
