Quality professional cut and style. If you are just looking for a generic haircut at a modest price this is not your place. If you are seeking detail and particularly a good fade, they seem excellent for that.

So me and my dad went in there today and we’re like “time to get a haircut” when we got there one of the barber were performing a haircut meanwhile a lady on her phone with a mess everywhere not doing anything we got irritated from her attitude but we calmed down because the other guy doing something was surprisingly nice, he told us that we were appointment only, we don’t any today, etc. well to be honest they should put on somewhere where it says” appointment only” or something but overall it was alright

Walked in 3 barbers sitting doing nothing. They all tell me their booked up all day while they were sitting doing nothing with no one in the shop. Very unprofessional don’t go here!

Went to catch a fade and was not let down by the wonderful hands of Barber Swiggy. He’s an amazing barber and treats his clients like family. I will always go to him he’s my go to.

You sit and wait and make sure to bring a mask3. Got there early and he gave me the exact haircut I wanted.4. Friendly polite and respectful.5. Didnt get the bathrooms but due to COVID the were not many people there and it was efficient.6. The price was a little more than expected but reasonable given the circumstances. I understand that the price has to increase a little due to the months of closure and out of work.7. As soon as you come in this place you feel welcome. The environment is comfortable and the stop is very clean. The staff is great. Everyone here is welcoming and professional. They also know what they’re doing when it comes to hair. I’ve never had a bad cut here. Anyone you go to will do a precise and quality job. This is the best barber shop over ever been to and I will definitely keep come back here.

Wow. Took my boyfriend here today. Clean & laid back little shop. Lily did his hair, double checking the work and very detailed. We are both super happy with it (that never happens). Definitely would recommend. Make an appointment, if you want good work without a long wait. Quality takes time.

Decided to give this place a try since it had some good reviews and seemed fairly new, and my other barber was only taking cash due to system errors, which was saddening. Apparently, I came in at the wrong time because the other reviews said the owner was great. Man, I wish I had him. I walked in and was told it would be about a couple minutes so they could help me, as one of the workers was talking with a customer. The customer leaves and the worker goes to the back. I take a seat and he tells me “It’ll be a few more minutes, we just got lunch.” In my head, I’m thinking alright maybe he was busy all day and is alone so can’t blame a guy for wanting to eat!So I wait about 5 minutes, a different guy comes from the back and into the bathroom, so there I am thinking, okay everyone is having a lunch party in the back and there’s me, waiting for who knows how long. About 5 more minutes later, one of the guys comes to get me, and put me in a chair that has hair all over the floor from the previous person. He didn’t even bother to sweep up! And there were about 2 other chairs messy too, so definitely not clean.All in all the cut was decent, besides when he burped super loud while cutting my hair. You can’t control when you burp, but I mean does it have to be obnoxiously loud? Midway through my cut, a couple walks in and take a seat. My barber, nor the other barber who came from the back gave them a hello or estimated wait time. Just awkward silence. The other barber sits in the chair next to mine, and fiddles on his phone for about 5 minutes, before he finally decides to call the other customer waiting. Finally, the cut is done and I walk to the counter in the front where they have the Square tablet/register (that usually accepts card). The guy tells me I can just pay him, and I tell him I only have card. He points to the ATM in the room so I have to pull out more money than needed and incur a fee of 2.25 for the money. If you only accept Cash, THEN SAY THAT SOMEWHERE!Overall, would not come back again and can probably tell now that the positive reviews are not from real customers. I really wanted this to be my new spot but I am on the lookout again and wish I could get a refund for it because it was ridiculous how bad this was.

James used to chop me up a few years back and I’ve been searching for him ever since. I found him at catch a fade and knew to trust anyone he was working with. His chair was busy so I was met by “Lily” she asked me what I wanted I said “ Get me ready for the Gram and make my wife say damn” she took what I said ran with it and crossed the finish line twice.She took her time didn’t assume, confirmed what she was doing was what I initially explained and always made sure, I will definitely be coming back and have already spread The word.-I’ll be back

Lily is the BEST!! She took me in for the first time 5 days before my wedding. She did exactly what I was looking for and she even cut a tad bit shorter so that my length would be perfect on the day the of. Thank you Lily!

This place in only a few weeks old but a couple of the guys are great at cutting hair since theyve been doing it for awhile at other shops. They did a really good job and prices are reasonable. Place is in easy spot and its really nice and clean inside.

Very unprofessional environment and the barber that was going to cut my hair started out by buzzing off my beard that I have been working on for 4 weeks. He later said he didnt know what he was supposed to do.... Which made me furious of course since you would hope that the barber would ask how do you want it done or ask for clarification to ensure a happy customer.I would not recommend this place and their appointments cost $5 and even if you have an appointment you have to wait at least 15 minutes.

The shop is under a residential building. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a good cut. The place is very clean and organized, the barbers have their own toolbox to store their supplies which I thought was really cool. They have TVs with Netflix and other streaming apps so customers dont get bored very easily. Definitely going back soon.

Drew... does an amazing job on my sons hair. His fresh dews are always on point! Not to mention some of the designs he likes to get time to time no matter the intraquecy they are always perfection! and Im super picky. If your looking for a ligit barber who can cut any ethnicity of hair.. this is definitely the spot. I would highly recommend any of the barbers at Catch a Fade barber shop. Live in the area and decided to try something different other than supercuts or great clips and man am I glad I did. There was no wait when I walked in but apparently that might be rare. Dexter did a great job and I will definitely keep him as a future barber. Not too pricey and they really do quality work. Topline stuff, took about an hour. Highly reccomend. Probably the best cut Ive ever gotten.

Finally found a great barber where you can chill out and have funny conversations openly with everyone. My wife says Cant get any better than Catch-A-Fade San Marcos.

It was a cool shop, nice dudes, playing good music. Cash only which sucks. a cut is $21 not including tip. they have discounts on cuts, but im a student and didnt get the student discount, which isnt a big deal. My hair cut looks dope, he double checked his work and took his time. Ill be back there.
