We make the drive from North County in order to have our son involved in this unique program. In addition to teaching martial arts, US-AMA emphasizes the development of personal character. Sensi Dan is a great role model for the students while also making the classes fun and engaging.

I love that each belt is tied to a character trait. My boys are being encourage to be young men of good character while learning to have power under control and self defense. Sensi Daniel truly has a heart for what he does and is positive role model for my children.

I highly recommend this martial arts training institute to every kid! My kids have been attending their classes for couple of years and they both have shown positive results both, physically and mentally.

We’ve been at US-AMA for over 7 years and have had three kids in the program, one of whom is nearing his black belt. Sensei Dan provides a rigorous and yet encouraging environment, with bars set high but a program that makes those bars attainable through hard work and good character. We couldn’t be more pleased with Sensei and the staff, or the opportunity to learn mixed martial arts in such a quality environment.

We’ve had two sons take classes at us-ama and can’t speak highly enough about the wonderful job they do! The way Sensei commands the attention of these little ones is impressive, and I can’t believe how quickly our boys have learned skills and gained confidence. The class schedule is great/flexible and there is always someone ready to help/answer any question you may have. Wonderful program!

My kids and I love the way Sensei Daniel teaches the class. He explains each move step by step with such ease that my children are able to follow along and learn. During Bring a Friend Day I was able to participate in the class and loved it. Sensei Daniel is awesome!!!

I wanted to share how Daniel C. has affected my sons lives. Their dad and I split up when they were 4 & 6 and it was extremely hard on them because I moved out and they stayed with their dad. I went down a bad path and their dad was lost. He took them to try Martial Arts and they were hooked. They spent every day for the next ten years with Daniel and He is the reason they are amazing young men. Johnathan is now 21, he has his own place in Slo and he is running one of my stores. He is responsible, considerate, kind, caring and and all around decent human being. His brother Jarrod is now 19 and he is currently working with our special needs employee and loves every minute of it. I couldn’t believe how well they turned out in spite of their circumstances and I just realized what the common denominator was, Daniel. He treated them like they were his own. They both taught kids when they were teenagers. What teenager wants to hang with 6 yr olds. Heck, I don’t like hanging out with 6yr olds who aren’t related to me. Anyhow, thank you Daniel. You have two men out in the world that are amazing human beings because of you.
