The customer service from this store (and Julie in particular) is amazing! I inadvertently shipped a package to my grandson to the wrong address. It went to an old address in SLO and should have gone to Los Osos. A week after it shipped Julie called me in Pennsylvania to let me know that the person named on the box no longer lived there - and I realized what had happened. I had used an old address. Julie offered to ship the box to the new address in Los Osos. It had some things in it that meant a lot to me to get to my grandson - and since i am now in Mexico I would not have been able to route it back to him if she had simply returned it to me as the original sender. She went above and beyond the call of duty to contact me and get the new address. And when I called a day later to get the tracking number Julie wasn’t there - and the next woman who helped me (whose name I regretfully neglected to get) was equally helpful and found me the new tracking number. Way to go UPS on Sacramento Ave! I highly recommend them!!!
Were kind and courteous and I got my package
The girls here are super helpful and friendly.
As usual, Debbie R warmly greeted me & made sure my package got shipped right away.
Very helpful the woman behind the counter!
I am new to living in Avila Beach, CA and the whole town operates on a PO Box system (which, I have learned, UPS does not deliver to PO Boxs). The learning curve has been steep trying to navigate orders and deliveries, however, all the staff at this location have been extremely helpful in getting my packages redirected and/or picking them up from this location oh Sacramento St.I love all of the and appreciate all of the kindness and patience exhibited by all staff here! I owe them!!
Very helpful staff and if you get your package in before I think 4 pm my kids & grandkids get the package the next day in SoCal🤗
I drop packages to ship for my business there often and the staff are always super helpful and efficient. Their speed and courtesy and experience when I dont quite know how to handle something and time is short have saved my companys bacon any number of times. I rely upon them! (And they always have a roll ready when Ive forgotten to tape up my box, bless them all).
The customer center could not have been more helpful, considerate and efficient. It is not often these days to come away from a place feeling “that was the MOST they could do!” The follow up arrangements with the driver were made. Amanda was also very friendly, courteous and professional. I continue to find UPS a bit of a magical entity......overnight across the country on time for reasonable cost!
The ladies in the front running the place are very sweet great customer service
This place is really a distribution center, but has a small customer office. The office is a small section of the building and most cars in the lot are delivery trucks. Its not the usual posh consumer store front. That being said, you can bring your packages here to drop off. The service is prompt, friendly and highly knowledgeable. Theres hardly ever a line at all. I believe they provide all normal UPS services, but I have only ever dropped off prepaid packages.
Claire is number one. She is the greatest and I hope they recognize and appreciate such a woman.
They had a drop box for prepaid shipping. Sucks they are closed on Saturday, but I was thankful for the drop box!
For the third time in the past month, and for at least the 5th time this year, I get packages dumped on my porch that are for a completely different street. Same house number, but different street and different residents name. I usually just take them and put them on the CORRECT porch. However, I am tired of doing this so today, I called Customer Service. NO LOCAL CONTACT! An 800 number to a call center with a polite enough representative(after ten minutes of automated menus!)...but she didnt have a clue what I was talking about, put me on hold, and then after 7 minutes the call dropped. Please get a local customer service number and read street names instead of just numbers. Overall, the driverds do good work.
This is the main UPS distribution center for SLO. You can drop packages off here and pay for postage as well. If you have something coming to your house you can call them and have it held at this location for pickup. They are an extremely kind and friendly group of folks that have worked here for years. I enjoy going by there because they are so friendly. I have gone to the Santa Maria location in the past so I really have something to compare this location to. This is one more reason why I am glad to be in SLO!
These people are the best, always helpful & friendly.
Really friendly and good service, my experiences have always been great!!! They have even come out to my vehicle and helped me load up and bring my many, many boxes inside when they didnt not have to do so; above and beyond for service.
Super werid experience as I dropped off a pre labeled return but had forgot my tape gun. I asked to use the tape gun to seal the top and was told just leave my box and the UPS agent would take care of it. The office was filled with boxes everywhere and I just felt most comfortable doing the taping or seeing it sealed before I left. I was told by the only agent in the office that it was ok to leave and i could trust the agent she would take care of it. I relayed it was ok if I waited. The agent then got very irritated w me and told me I could go. Again I said I was very okay just waiting. She then got super irritated and said she had worked 30 yrs there and I could trust her. Still I waited. Finally she grabbed my package and set it down angrily and taped the top. There..she said fiercely and I said Thank you very much and happy holidays. Customers should have their wishes of a secured package acknowledged and not reacted to with disdain. Some refreshment training for a 30 yr employee might in need.
I receive packages from all over. I use will call and they will call when packages arrive. Great service.
Great help and are friendly
The automated service was no help
So incredibly dismayed with the service and greed of ups. WARNING: this place is closed on saturday and sunday. I dont want to hear any lip about that either this is a delivery service no ifs ands or buts. There is NO reason they should be closed EVER. People have businesses going on that require mail. One this is for sure: I am avoiding ups at all COSTS for now on.
They destroy 78% of the boxes (and merchandise) shipped to me. Check out you tube for great videos. They dont pick up packages they swear they will pick up on Friday. I haul it out. They dont show. I call in the afternoon and they swear they are coming. I call at night, warning them Im leaving for weekend. They RUDELY say they are coming. They dont. I call Saturday to say package is still on my steps and I wont be home for three days. Spend 108 minutes talking to two idiots in India who couldnt speak English if their green card depended on it. They say its not their fault and I will be responsible if anything happens to packages. Totally incompetent lazy worthless employees who should all be fired. Im letting every company I work with know that I wont do business with them if they use UPS. I had to do this in Baltimore at my last home...half the UPS staff were fired (including manager) when companies went to allowing customers to choose alternative shipping.
I need your office number
Closed on Saturday? Not even open for a half day? Closed on Sunday is reasonable but not all day on Saturdays.
The staff at this center are always helpful.
Fast shipping and great customer service
The employee are quite friendly.
There really nice there
Ups is a joke!!!!!! Cant stand there service. There delivery time is a joke always early or late so you gotta waste a day with these guys!!!!
Fast and friendly service
