I moved my 89 yr old Mom to Pacifica 6 months ago. I had toured the facility 3 yrs ago. I was impressed that 3 years later most of the staff i met were still there. They are friendly, caring and kind. It is great to call and get a real person to answer questions. The receptionist, Gladys, is always helpful and friendly. The activities director, Lai, has great energy and has gone out of her way to make my Mom feel welcome. The fact that my Mom can walk 2 blocks for a Safeway, pharmacy, BART, church or restaurants is an added bonus.
Staff at this community have been working as a team for a very long time. Lisa the Business office manager loves her community. Residents always seem happy when I go there.
I am a staff member at Pacifica Senior Living San Leandro and I love the residents, teammates, and management. We all work together as a team, sharing the same goal of providing great services to our residents and everyone is very active and engaging. Our residents love our community because we are “family” and we take pride in what we do - no matter how busy we are, we’re never to busy to stop and greet, share laughters, check-in with our residents, or to listen.Thank you, Pacifica for providing such a great working environment and a community of family hood.Phannah
I toured the community on 2/2/21. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Pacifica is very charming and located downtown in a prime location. The residents are very happy and they all were happy to see me touring and asking them questions . I would highly recommend Pacifica Senior Living to anyone considering independent or assisted living.
I feel so grateful for the care and support that my mom receives at Pacifica Senior Living, especially over this difficult last year. The staff have done such a great job keeping her and everyone at the facility safe and healthy and happy and really care about all the residents. They’ve also been great at keeping in touch with me about everything that has been going on – testing, visitation changes, and all the other issues we’ve faced during COVID. Even during the recent surge when visiting was restricted, Lai (the fabulous Activities Director) arranged for Mom and I to have regular FaceTime calls so we could stay closely connected. Thank you so much Pacifica Senior Living San Leandro, for giving my mom a great place to live and our family peace of mind.💜
Pacifica Senior Living San Leandro is a great community. What I love about it, it is 2 blocks from the BART station so it is easy to get around easily, not to mention only 1/2 block away from shops and restaurants. Many of staff has been there for a lot of years, and I believe that says a lot! The apartments are very spacious, well maintained and most have balconies. I would defiantly recommend this community.
Pacifica took wonderful care of my aunt! On very little notice, my aunt was able to stay at Pacifica for 3 weeks in respite, while she awaited relocating out of town. She had just been released from hospital and couldn’t return home. We were given only a couple of days to find an immediate care facility that could accommodate her. While at Pacifica, she seemed to adapt very quickly and receive excellent attention and care. She appeared very well rested and rejuvenated. She really enjoyed the staff and caretakers. The facility has a very homey atmosphere and was decorated particularly festive for the seasonal holidays. The management and staff at Pacifica were all genuinely caring and pleasant to work with. They were very accommodating and provided transport and accompanied her to a doctor appointment. I highly recommend Pacifica for the facility and their management/staff, based on my aunt’s recent experience.
Pacifica Senior Living San Leandro has been the home of our Mom for the last year and a half. I say home because they provide a loving, caring and safe environmentt for her and all the amazing residents that thrive here! Mom has specific needs that are extremely challenging and the med staff, caregivers, social director and admin staff work hard togive Mom the best quality of life she deserves!! I recommend this unique facility to anyone who has a loved one that needs that extra something to help them thrive!Kudos to my Pacifica Family!
I have to honestly say this has been the most satisfying job I ever had.It makes such a difference to work for a family owned business than a “corporate “ one. The main reason why you can see and feel the heart the community has for the residence here and how we are a family. I would recommend Pacifica Senior Living to everyone.
Lai is very good with the residents, extremely helpful, and a very infectious personality. I am so happy with Lisa because shes got all the billings straight and Jet has been such a angel with me and my mother, Gladys is such a wealth of information. My mother likes it here and I concur with her that I like her being here.
Pacifica San Leandro has a wonderful receptionist upon entering the community. They truly make you feel at home.
Always clean, good personnel, the restaurant is great with very good choices of food, and facility is recently upgrades - looks good. - Jack Dexter (Glorias cousin)
We recently helped to move my mother to Pacifica Senior Living in SanLeandro. She was already living in a retirement community setting because she has lost her vision and has mobility issues as well. The difference is night and day. They are very attentive to her needs. With supportive staff. When you go in there is a friendly feeling as if you are home. Music playing, people gathered and talking and there are watermelons and tomatoes growing in the residents accessible garden which is on the front patio.Everything is accessible and comfortable. (not faux fancy or alternatively institutional) Thank you Pacifica SanLeandro.
