Pricing, good. Work, thorough. Communication with customer, poor. Email communications are confusing and incomplete. Requests for online signatures are confusing and incomplete. Online copies of filings have to be repeatedly requested.

Extremely disappointed with this company. Used them for several years and was initially happy overall. The service declined with Joe not returning phone calls or promises of services that were never done. The last straw was the direct debit of my bank account by IRS for two years in a row for the taxes of my ex husband. So unprofessional and not even a single apology was offered. Huge huge disappointment in the level of respect towards the customer.

I have posted FIVE STARS because S&S Tax diligently represented me in an Audit with the IRS and helped me come out of a grueling process with results so spectacular, I had to pinch myself twice to believe it. Wonderful firm to work with and highly recommend!!!

I have been a S&S customer for the past 6 years. I was introduced to S&S from a friend of mine who has been using this service for a while. The office is managed by two employees who are very courteous and professional. Joe had giving me good tips on my taxes.Last December, I changed jobs and bought a house in the same period of time. As a consequence I needed to provide to my employer an updated version of my W4 allowances linked to the amount of money withdrawn from my paycheck. I never asked for anything else before to S&S but I thought this was going to be a good occasion to ask for their help.I contacted S&S few times in December 5 2009 till one day Joe called me back asking for information he needed to compile my W4. I asked when the form would be completed, he said in 1 week. I called him in 1 week leaving few messages through his secretaries. He never called back. The HR of my company needed the W4 form. Finally, on December 15th I got hold of him. He apologizes and told me that he was going to fax the W4 form to me in two days. Useless, to say that he never faxed it. I called after 3 days and his secretary told me that he went on vacation for 3 weeks. If it was something urgent I could leave a message. I told them, yes it is urgent.On January 25th, 2010 I called the office several times, but Joe was never reachable. I thought he just didnt how to do this simple job and he did not want to tell me straight. The question is how can anyone trust this office for help if anyone gets Audited? They cannot get their hand around a simple request? Needless to say that once I received their call to file my 2009 tax return I kindly declined. Now I file the tax myself with turbo-tax!
