My first experience with acTax. Everyone was very cordial and made me feel welcome. The team was efficient and thorough with my income tax filing. And their follow-up confirmations were very prompt. They earned my complete trust. I will recommend them to anyone that has a need for their business services.

I usually never write negative reviews but for this one I couldnt stop myself to write. My appointment was booked 4-5 days in advance to meet Mr. Kultar. I arrived right on time for my appointment. When I reached to the office, I saw Mr. Kultar was busy with other clients. I was told by the receptionist / lady that I have to wait as Mr. Kultar is BUSY WITH AN EXISTING CLIENT, Do you have your tax documents, He will be filing your Taxes without letting me know how long I have to wait. I showed her my tax document. I thought it would be 5-10 minutes or max 15 minutes waiting period. After 15 minutes, I asked the receptionist, Could you tell me how long I have to wait? The receptionist / lady responds The previous appointment clients arrived late, thats why he is taking more time (Still I wasnt informed how long I have to wait and why their appointment wasnt rescheduled if they arrived late). I waited total 40 minutes to meet Mr. Kultar and when I asked again Please tell me how long it will take? I think I have waited enough, why my appointment was booked if he is not available? this lady responds When you go to the grocery store you dont know how long it will take....right? I dont know what to tell you This made me write this review. At that moment, I see the situation as - I am not here to do groceries at a tax service agency, I am here to file my taxes. This absolutely made no sense to me especially waiting such a long time at their location. I decided to not to waste my time further in regrets. I said I wont be waiting this long, you made me write an awesome review for your business The lady responds Thank you for that I smiled and said I definitely take your Thank You and then I left. This place didnt value my time. I am sure they wouldnt value my money. Mr. Kultar dared to waste almost one hour of my time, I could easily tell he has not discovered the value of life and value of people. Never ever visiting here again.

I’ve been going to Kultar to get my taxes done for the past 3 years and he always pulls through! I am a full time employee and part time rideshare driver so I can’t just go to any tax person. I go to Kultar because he specializes in what I need for my taxes. I’ll be back again next year.

I needed an accountant to amend past tax years with a Net Operating Loss from a fraud I have been victim of.Kultar Batth took 3 weeks to review my case, validate it, and accept the job. $6,000 later and more than 3x the time I was given by Kultar to complete the work, the forms were submitted to IRS which denied all the claims. Upon insisting for Kultar to follow through, he sent a letter that produced no result to date (9 months after we started).Mr. Batth does not return my communications, and I am starting a series of reviews to denounce the lack of knowledge (yet acceptance of service for a fee) that led me to spend a lot of money on a non-valid claim according to IRS that acTax is not helping defend.By all means, I suggest all readers avoid this company for matters more complicated than simple cases. acTax as proven very difficult to get timely work from as other customers were always prioritized and the analysis of the companys owner was wrong.I am personally investigating starting a small claim to denounce the practice.

It was quick and easy. It took about an hour and I was out of there. I signed electronically and I recieved a electronic copy of my returns. AC Tax is highly recommended. I also got an insurance quote. These guys do it all!!
