I worked at brightview for almost 2 years before I quit, when I first in august of 2018 Lynn was branch manager, she was horrible, very rude and didnt care about the employees I almost quit after 2 months but I decided to stick around for a bit longer until a new branch manager took over whos name was chiquita she was awesome very caring and respectful under her leadership I was promoted to crew leader she was the only manager who noticed my hard work and dedication. when she took over there was a glimmer of hope for change but it immediately died out months later when clint christman took over because of clint and my account manager rodolfo Silva I walked out of brightview and never looked back, there needs to be a major shift in management

If the boss isnt around, we are going to do bare minimum of whats required. Thats the type of attitude you are going to receive if you hire Bright View. If you are not inspecting their work, be certain theyll do 10% of of their contracted duties.

I’ve been watching these guys do landscaping at Google in Mountain View for three years from my office window. I have never seen anybody work more slowly or lazily in my life. One day I watched a guy kick around mulch for over 45 minutes while staring at his phone. I wants watched a guy on a roof blowing out the gutters get to a spot he couldn’t hit. There was a ladder right there. He didn’t use it he folded up the ladder and left leaving the entire gutter filled.Right now there are two guys hanging out talking while one dude walks around with a leaf blower occasionally poking it here or there. I can only imagine the hundreds of thousands of dollars they are billing Google for a service that would probably cost an independently run small landscaping company 1/5 of the price for 10 times the result.

Horrible experience with the branch in San Jose off 10th and Phelan. Unlawful work practices and wage theft Case pending. Would recommend staying away from this branch.
