When I went the first day they were very quick no appointments needed restroom was out of service. Next day I notice that my check oil soon light came on. An so I pulled out my paper work an looked over the service order that was written up receipt an it had services that they didnt complete checked off an thats not cool so I went back an they told me that all needs to be done. Is the oil censor needs to be reset an as fair as checking the tire pressure an cleaning the windows They did complete that service an thats comes with the oil change so if you dont say nothing they wont do it lazy sons of a guns

The employees appeared to be very knowledgable and professional. They asked which type of oil I preferred and did mot just assume what kind to put in. They checked the air filtered and made a suggestion about replacing it. Were not pushy on the replacement of the air filter. Cleaned all windows while oil was being changed. Reminded me of the old days when the service stations use to fill your cars with gas and clean your windows. Didt have to get out of the car, except ti go pay.

Very fast. Was done what seemed like 10 minutes but they got oil hand prints all over the front of the hood. Annoying.

Due to covid19, drivers can stay in their car for the entire oil change. SiriusXM radio should work inside the oil changing bay. If you need wifi, just ask. Its complementary! I loved that they cleaned my car too!

After getting the oil change, I drove back home to getbready fro work but on my way to work, i noticed this loud dragging, scrapping sound coming from my car . I pulled over and the techs forgot to screw in the bottom cover from undeath my car or they didnt screw in well enough it came loose and dragged while driving in the freeway . What a disaster. I will never go to this location again.I spoke to Jose, one of the people working there, and obviously with my frusttration, stuck on the road and had to cancel work because of it, i demanded they fix the problem today and he said they were closing soon to come back tomorrow and when i asked to speak with the manager he refused and hung up on me.Then. I suggested I towed my car to the location and they fix the problem today, he kept saying they were closing soon to bring it back tomorrow . They basically acted like it wasnt their problem and refused to stay till i got there to fix the issue they cause.Update: The next morning me and a friend took the car back to the location to get the bottom cover put back in place . Althought they were willing to re install the cover they still tried to blame me and said i must have hit something. B.S. now the cover is damaged (pic 3/3) and will have to get a new one at some point... 🙄

Showed up just after 4PM on a Wednesday and had a new air filter installed, oil changed, and windows cleaned all in 10 minutes or less. Everyone was super friendly and the place was defenitly clean and safe looking. I have never had such service so fast.

Bad experience to expense for oil change

Had my oil changed and air filter replaced. 4 days later my check engine light came on saying that the air filter and oil filter were not installed properly. Took it back to the shop and they wiggled the parts and said hopefully that helped fix it. If not, I had to come back when a manager was there. Usually get good service here, but this trip left a sour taste

I always have great experiences with jiffy lube. The associates are wonderful and are very helpful and knowledgeable. I recommend going there for many of your vehicle needs. They provide much more than just oil changes.

When I arrived I asked the service guy how much it would be for a oil change and he hesitated then said $94.99. I agree went into the office to have a seat. Called within minutes by this Asian guy who was very pushy. He went down the list of things my car needed to be serviced supposedly. Anyways he made it sound like my car was going to blow up if I didn’t get it serviced. I agreed to a oil change and for them to change the filter. He quoted me &143. And some change. I sat down and he came in with a filter from a different customer who was also a female. He stated your filter is worse than hers you really need to change it. I look at him because I was so embarrassed for her. That was very unprofessional for him to compare us. Anyways he also ask her do you have coupons she said yes she had three coupons two from the website and other from a newspaper clippings. He said I’m sorry we don’t accept coupons anymore. But I will give you a $15 discount. Her quote was less than my quote by almost $45 . Then two male customers come in the same man helped them guess what they were treated differently. No pressure no high prices. I will never go back to this location I feel they over charged me. I’ve had my car for two years and never been charged this much.

Kind caring trustworthy and didnt rip me off

I arrived to the Jiffy Lube on 2302 Almaden Rd. in San Jose Ca. to be greeted by (more like interrogated) by one of the Jiffy Lube employees. He was rude and obnoxious. At the end of my interrogation, I was TOLD to get out of my car and to go wait in the waiting area. After which I was called by a second Jiffy Lube employee to go back and discuss what my car needed done. Once I told them no, no, no to everything except an oil change. I proceeded to tell the second Jiffy Lube employee that I had a coupon. When they saw it, they said that they didnt accept them. Even though it was a Jiffy Lube signature oil change coupon for $10 off. When I said to forget it and I would just take my car back. Then the second Jiffy Lube employee stated that he would take the coupon anyway. There are no posted prices and it feels like they can charge what ever they like and the customers have no say. Ive been to different Jiffy Lube facilities and they have been positive experiences. This particular experience WAS NOT. I will not be returning to this Jiffy Lube. I felt I had to pull over in my car to make sure that the work was done before I left the area.

Cheap prices and great customer experience, there was a light that did not get reset but they helped me to try to fix it. I could not fix it and when i went back, they remembered me and quickly fixed the light, and showed me how to do it if it ever happened again. Thank you jiffy lube

This place used to be fantastic, especially for people who didnt know too much about car maintenance. They would check every fluid, top it off if needed, and go through everything they did with you. They would give you their recommendations as to what you should take care of sooner than later in terms of filters, etc. without ever being pushy. Last time I went in, the guy who talked to me was extremely pushy about adding additional services and didnt explain what they did at all. In fact, he temporarily lost my keys after saying that he left them in my car which was sitting outside the shop. It seemed extremely disorganized and like they didnt care about the customer at all. It had been a while since Id been there, so Im not sure if this was an uncommon experience or if this is the new normal. Either way Jiffy Lube, customer service should always be a priority.

I wanted to see how much a transmission change is and they’re trying to get me to pay $100 for a oil change and they said we don’t do transmission changes because you don’t have a dipstick in your Dodge dart you have to go to the dealership. Ugh

Google and Yelp says that they open at 730AM. I pulled up right at 7:30 and the roll up doors are down, office lights off and not one care in the lot. Its 7:40 now and still no one. 7:45 two cars pull in first a Civic which parks next to the dumpster and then a Accord with two guys in it which park in the back next to the office. I pull around to the Civic in back with a guy in it and ask if he works here. He said yes so I ask when the open and he says supposed to be at 730 and that I should pull around to the front. I told him that I will not wait and he apologizes. If the employees​ cant remember or dont care to show up on time what will they forget or not care to do while working on my car? I will definitely not come back to find out. Zero stars would be more appropriate.

Technicians are trained to push products that are over priced. Air filter for $59.99!!!. They are probably on commission. If u say no, they will give u $10 off on already very high price. Be aware! Go to other Jiffy Lube if you do not like sales pressure.

After showing up and been giving the please hold finger from the person at the front desk, I proceeded to wait about 10 minutes while they helped the customer in front of me. Then he left, went into the shop I started working and never addressed me for any kind of help. I waited for about 5 more minutes and he never came back in. No matter where you looked at the shop and tried to address anyone they were masters of not making eye contact. I finally left in frustration. I will never go back to this facility ever again. Went to, 10 Minute Speedy and was greeted with hellos, thank use and not to mention cheaper rates... Shame on you Jiffy Lube and shame on their staff for such poor customer service. I will never go back and never recommend to anyone in the future.

My experience was great. The tech (August) meet me at the car, told me what he was going to do, then did it. No up-sell, No bad attitude and everything was done quickly. He even reset my trucks oil change counter (something my dealer never did) and explained their top-off policy.My next oil change will be here.I read the negative reviews hear and on Yelp and I was skeptical. However, I also know that people with bad experiences write reviews much more often the people with good experiences.

Been going to this Jiffy Lube location for a few years. The employees always go out of their way to be courteous. The service is quick and I have never had a bad experience.

Ive been going to this Jiffy Lube location for years and its about time I write a review. Every single time I have received great customer service! I also receive an estimated time of when my car will be ready and usually my car oil change is complete on time. This location gets really busy during weekends so be realistic!!!!! An oil change will take more than 30 minutes on a busy day, sometimes up to an hour. So if you are impatient and expecting drive thru service like at McDonalds, this place is not for you!!! Thank you Jiffy Lube for your great service at a reasonable amount of time!!!

I will not be going back for future service. The employees gotten engine oil all over the steering wheel and driver set. One of the employees decided to sit in the driver set while another employee recorded himself staring my car ram the engine. I confronted the employees and provided zero information to file a complaint. Seem like the employee uploaded his childish actions on his social media.

Worst oil change of my life. DO NOT GO HERE. The employees left my filter on loose and the next day my car gave me a check engine warning and was leaking oil everywhere. I had to get it TOWED to an auto repair shop to get it fixed and had to pay for the repairs and replacement oil since it all came out. I tried going back to the jiffy lube to get a refund because they nearly destroyed my car (the auto shop said if I didn’t tow my car it would have caused lots of damage and could have been unsafe as well) and also because the oil all came out anyway. The guys clearly didn’t want to deal with my problem and said they couldn’t offer me the refund themselves and that they’ll give my number to their manager and he would call me about it and that I shouldn’t come back. It’s been 2 weeks now and I haven’t gotten any calls, as I expected would happen. If you’re not gonna do your job right at least have some courtesy to make it up to me somehow instead of telling me to leave and taking my phone number with no intention of giving it to your manager or solving the issue at all. Thanks for nothing jiffy lube.

Ive had an oil leak so now I need to buy NEW OIL PAN and get charged for extra labor!!!! 😡🤬😡 This is why people told me not to go to them but did I listen, no they wouldnt do that in this area. THIEVES! Nov 26th 3pm...My 17 year old daughter left her car for an oil change. We came back for her car and they cleaned $84 out of her wallet which was in the glove box (which of course she should not have left in the car).

Came here to get my oil changed. When I went home all of the oil had leaked out of my car and onto my drive way. Will not be going back. Recommend people go somewhere else, this place does not do a good job. Now I will be spending even MORE money to fix their mistake. And wasting more of my time on something that shouldn’t have happened. And hope no damage is done to my car . Very iritating.

My oil change cost more than doubled ($140) because it was my first time bringing it myself and they knew I didnt know about the extras they added on. Of course when I got more information from another Jiffy Lube it was too late, the work was done. CROOKS!

Absolutely horrible experience. Horrendously bad customer service. I have been going to Jiffy Lube at multiple locations for 5 plus years with all my vehicles. Yes to forcefully upsell on items I didnt need even after I told them I had the service mentioned dinner at the dealership.Refused to take coupon from the California specific Jiffy lube coupon link from their site as mentioned on another review.Employee stated it was a decision of the owner to refuse that coupon. When I told them it was accepted at every other Jiffy Lube and I would go down to another location nearby they told me if I wanted to take that risk and go to that store that was my choice.Ask to speak to a manager and they told me there were no managers working so I couldnt speak to one.Stay far far away from here there is a reason for all the horrible reviews.

Took my car in for an oil change. Guys were rude and arrogant. told me I needed I cabin filter and I was ok. Came out paying more than I was going in for the reciept said they did the vacuum, clean windows, air tires and I check all of that and none of it was done. Car floors were not vacuumed, windows were not cleaned and air tires were not even filled(I have an air pressure tire device). BAD BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. The district manager should really look into putting these folks in check. There is like 6 guys just standing around but none of them could do a car floor vacuum. YOU GUYS LOST A CUSTOMER!!! HOPE Cesar sees this post and really put them a verbal warning for being decietful, rude and just bad all around.

The Asian guy who did my pre oil change quote was harrassing me to the max. He kept trying to upsell me on high mileage oil. Then a transmission flush. Ive gotten my oil changed at other jiffy lube locations over 25 times in the last two years. I drive for a living and Ive never encountered someone so pushy and rude. When a customer tells you no, more than twice thats a problem. Im not an idiot dont try to push upgrades on me. Youre not even a mechanic. I will never come to this location again GUARANTEED.... Management needs to get someone more respectful talking to customers because youre going to lose more business.

They tried to sell me an air filter and claimed mine was dirty. They did the oil change though and I havent had any issues beyond the upselling.

The staff here were rude, pushy and just plain creepy. I left and did not get my oil changed because of the bad feeling they left me with and my oil level was low . The gentleman who was taking my information was so close to my face and yet was yelling at me to speak up, one of the technicians kept wildly waving his arms at me from a distance over and over again to move lanes after I had already been asked to move to the lane I was in and then started knocking on my hood while the other man was being rude in my face . The man who was rude did not even bother to tell this technician that he asked me to move there and instead let him act like a wild man to me. The staff needs training on how to deal with customers, these men were far from young so I dont imagine that their level of professionalism will grow much.

Jiffy lube is a company who doesn’t believe in honesty ! I went back after my first incident wanting to give them a chance and they failed me again . First time I was told my floors were Vacuumed and windows cleaned . When I got my car and took off nothing was done, but and oil changed . This time my receipt read that I declined all services and that the windows where cleaned ! Big disappointment as none of this was offered to me for me to declined . If they lie about this I can only imagine what else are they lying about .

Terrible service! I called ahead to see if they carried my oil filter for my 2008 Audi and they didnt. I MADE the effort and I WENT to purchase my oil filter at an auto parts store beforehand. I told the technician this and asked for a discount on the oil filter $14 and he said NO. Mind you my oil service is about $130 because its considered a luxury brand and requires the highest oil change service. I asked if he could ask the manager and he did. The manager just looked over to me in the driveway and said No. I told them you just lost great customer service and the technican just walked away. Jiffy Lube you have a lot to learn about customer service. I have already posted a review on Yelp and now on Google so I hope others will be aware of what they are walking into.

My son went in for oil change and drove away with an over heating problem that wasnt there before. Hmmm is this coincidence or a set up. Told my son to stay away from there. Bummer now is Im having to deal with the new problem. After taking the car to another shop with the cooling system problem we find out the jiffy lube topped off the radiator with the wrong color fluid. We had pink which is special to a VW beetle and they put in green per evidence of what he told me on phone and the only color they stock for all vehicles. We will see you in court!!! Thanks Jiffy!!

Pulled up on a Sunday afternoon - line was long - they said 45 min wait.Wanted to walk over to grab lunch from the sub shop in the same shopping center while I waited and was told that I had to wait in the overcrowded waiting room and could not leave. Turned around and left - poor CS

I took my 2008 Honda civic here for an oil change for the first time in November 2012. They completed the oil changed and tried to sell me on other products that I did not need, and I kindly declined for extra services. My car seemingly was fine with no leaks until April came and it was time for another oil change. I had since moved to socal for school and decided to go to another Jiffy Lube in Lakewood, CA to be serviced.After the initial estimate for a standard oil change, the mechanic came back and told me that HE COULD NOT CHANGE MY OIL because there was a SEALANT ON THE DRAIN BOLT from the PREVIOUS SERVICE. When I told him that Jiffy Lube had been the one to service it before he told me that I would have to connect that particular store because it was a different franchise.I contacted the Almaden Road location and spoke to the assistant manager on duty and told him my situation and left my contact information for the store manager to get back to me, they NEVER RETURNED MY CALL.I then took my car to Honda who confirmed that they could not perform an oil changed because the drain bolt had been covered with silicone by the previous oil change servicer. I HAD TO HAVE THE ENTIRE OIL PAN REPLACED costing over $440. I am now currently waiting for the district manager to respond to my claim.But be advised:DO NOT HAVE ANY SERVICE DONE AT JIFFY LUBE. They dont seem to care about performing shabby work, and, through my own online research, have a history of blowing people off who try to complain or rectify issues caused by Jiffy Lube servicing.
