Monsters roll here. You will get better and it will happen fast. Matt Darcy has clear concise instruction that’s easy to follow and his corrections are always on point.

My son has been coming to Guerilla for what would have been 4 years ( covid 🙄) but we joined in 2017 and it helped him tremendously. He gained so much confidence and absolutely loves his coaches. Coach Chris and coach Mat ( owner) have been huge role models for him and he really looks up to them. Very professional, fun and strict at the same time. They are amazing and we are so grateful to have found this academy.

Not the best BJJ studio around, but the best martial arts studio around.

Amazing gym! I just moved to the area and was surprised at how good the instruction is as well as the attention to detail. Matt is a great teacher and very welcoming, love the vibe here and it seems like their first priority is the advancement of their students. On a side note the bad review from the new white belt who visited with his cousin... The account has 2 reviews and the other one is for a different academy where he says hes been training for 2 years. If haters have to post fake bad reviews because no one who took a class here would ever leave one you know this place is awesome.

Classes are legit with very knowledgeable individuals and a friendly atmosphere. Trust me on this even tho my 9yo daughter lives in Fremont City she would rather train at Guerrilla BJJ than anywhere else. Plus the Kimono Gi are A+. Try for your self. 🤙

I have been training here for close to 5 months, a great place to train and learn the art of Jui-Jitsu. The best part of the academy is its culture and core values, which reflects in the way everyone in the class caries themselves. Irrespective of what prior experience one has in martial arts, or the physique and strength one possesses, the academy offers more than enough opportunities to learn and train.

What a fantastic place to train with incredibly genuine people. I am an SBG 1st degree BJJ blackbelt and MMA coach and have trained in Europe, Asia, and numerous states in the US. Guerrilla Jiu Jitsu is among my absolute favourites. There is a great mix of black belts who roll in a safe and intelligent way. Whilst highly competitive, there is a great deal of respect and friendliness for visitors. It’s professional yet very lad back. Dave Camarillo is an absolute legend within BJJ, Judo and MMA where he’s led the likes of AKA to UFC championships. I can’t recommend it enough.

3-10 blacks belts on the mat at a time. About 3000 square feet of mat space. 5$ Tuesday Marathon Roll for anyone from any school. Amazing place!

Trained Brazilian Jiu Jitsu here for about 2.5 years before I had to leave the Bay Area for SoCal. I also received my blue belt under the owner and instructor, Matt Darcy, who is a black belt in both BJJ and Judo.Parking: Big lot in the back, but does get packed during night classes. Sometimes you can find a sweet spot just when the parents are leaving after the kids classes. Alternatively, there is plenty of parking along the streets.Gym space: Big and clean. The mats are cleaned at least twice a day, once after morning classes and once after evening classes. As of Jan. 2016, they have recently finished remodeling the interior so that means brand new mats as well.Instructor: Majority of the adult classes are taught by Matt himself. He goes over the techniques with just the right amount of detail and explains the whys as well as the common mistake you might make during the move. He blends a lot of judo and wrestling philosophy into the techniques, which I believe to be key to becoming a more complete grappler. Matts lessons are well balanced, as he covers both traditional self-defense and modern sports jiujitsu techniques. Last and most importantly, he is approachable. Whether it is a technique questions, critiques or even membership/payment issues, he will do his best to answer them.Matt also has a group of black and brown belts for backup in the event that he cannot teach the classes himself.Other: Gym members wise, you get a plethora of belt levels and body types which is absolutely essential for your BJJ growth. This way, you get to test your technique against various levels and body types and get great feedback on what you are doing right or wrong and what to do to adjust. The front office staffs are pleasant to deal with, attentive and knows you by name. They are always willing to help with any membership questions or issues. All in all, a safe and spacious environment to train with top-notch instructions and customer service. But, dont take a from me, try it yourself and drop by for a free lesson or two.

Very weak training nobody takes it seriously I went with my cousin that trains there and it’s just awful the instructors spend more time telling the people not to dab in class than any actual training when I went there for one day I was a white belt I was able to tap a blue belt so it’s not worth the money at all
