I rented 2KW electrical generator. The process was easy and the generator worked well and easily. I used it for about an hour and it hardly used any gas. They checked the gas and it seemed not full and topped it off, but luckily didnt charge as there really wasnt anything to add.The service desk had multiple representatives and there was no queue. They prepared the generator while I was filling in the paperwork and it saved my time.

Refer to Dahl by my tree trimmer. Rented a piece of equipment trencher that didn’t work well. I returned it full of gas and registered two -three hours but the timer was broken also. One tire would spin so it pulled left, pull started hurt everyone who tried to start it including the employee who checked it in. I was charged in spite of the malfunctioning trencher.Attempted to rent another piece of equipment but the reservation never processed on line. I was offered a larger tool instead for an ADDITIONAL $350 because the tool I reserved was not available. Jeff’s attitude was take it or leave it, “call back when you work it out in your budget”. How Rude. I want bother to every call again.HD Supply and A-1 Rental will be my tool rental companies.

Good place to rent all tools from a to z ...they have it all. Prices are a little on the high side. The reason for 3 stars is that its very difficult to get parking there, room for maybe 4 or 5 customers at a time, no street parking outside. If they had better parking and slightly lower prices it could be 4 to 5 stars.

I rent their pipe threaded machine 2 times in the past 6 months. The first time the chuck was wobbling which could not even get the thread twice correctly. Called in, they brought in 3 hrs later the replacement. The second machine has no power to thread the pipe. I had to keep step on peddle repeatly to reactivate the motor. The mechanic in chief told me the cord too long. I said no, this is not my first time using it. When I returned the machine, he stood there with his cord. We plugged the machine and put the pipe in to thread and the machine stop after threading 1 revolution. I wasted my time with the machine and that guy. He was not even care to give some credit back to me. A week ago, I went back to rent another one. I checked the machine, in their repair shop make sure it has enough power. It did. But at the last day to return around 10 am, I tried to put reverse to take off fitting on pipe.The machine not reversing and the knob spun around. I did not call them, if I do I have to call, wait for the to come over to look at it and that take the rest of the day anyway. When I returned the machine after work I told them the reverse mode not working. The guy did not say anything but inspect the equipment, die etc and give me the receipt. When I went to the counter, the same incompetent chief mechanic ran over and said I broke the switch because he said the machine was in good condition. And I said no. But the guy at the counter side with his buddy saying why I dont call, so I got to pay for it $135 something. I wasted enough time and money on their pos machines and just told them billed me and walked out. No more this sheeitty place.

This place does not carry insurance on their tools.Their trailer stoped working in the middle of the landfill. I moved it out of the way and suddenly the back door came off.I called the rental place for 30 minutes waiting for help and no one had a clue how to fix the issue. Thanks God, someone at the landfill helped me fix the trailer.When I retuned the equipment I got charged for damages that weren’t my fault.This is the cost of my lost due to the lack of maintenance on their equipment.Unfair Repair charge: $86.00An extra day for trailer rental: $124.00Total lost : $210.00Plus cost of labor waiting to load the trailer :(

Professional, accommodating, helpful and good quality rental equipment. Rented a bobcat on tracks from Dahls. Was working mostly on weekend plus a bit during the week being a homeowner. Dahls team basically set it up with me to use it based on hours used vs. time it was at job site. For me this worked perfectly! Was also happy they dont do the warranty scam like lots of other places because if you read the fine print it really dont do much. When asked they said unless you just flat out break it (which those warrantys the other places sell you dont cover anyway) they wont charge me. Basically if its from normal wear and tear no issue. About a day into using the bobcat it started bogging down - they sent a truck out (at job site in under 2 hrs) and replaced the diesel hand pub saying that should fix it and said call if it happens again. Worked great... Oh delivery of the bobcat, once again was extremely flexible on drop off - p/u time.Based on my experience I personally will never go to another rental yard, these guys have earned my business going forward. Yes Ive used quite a few other yards - none of them compare!

The guy I work with has been using them for years and years and has just never had a complaint. We moved to a new shop about a year ago and he rented a Dahls trailer almost every weekend. Just zero problems.

This is a great place to rent to do house renovation. I love the floor sanders. If they had what I needed, I would go nowhere else.
