Lee altered my mom’s wedding dress from the 80s (think high neck and crazy poofy sleeves) and transformed it into a beautiful open back, sleeveless dress. I’m so excited to get to wear my moms dress and that I got to make it my own with Lee’s help and skills.(Photos to come after the wedding 😁)

Alterations made to your liking. Theyre quick and reasonable. Takes only a few moments to get pinned for alterations needed and pickup is fast. Sometimes they can take a little longer than expected, so pickup at least 1 day later than stated.

I had been going here for years! But then a year ago I took a couple items in, one was a pillow I needed stuffed a bit more, (they made it all lumpy), the other was to fix the elastic waistband on some silk pjs and they fixed it but took in the waist band too which I didnt ask for so then it didnt fit in the waist! I paid for the job before I knew about these problems. I went back again this year with a lot of items I needed taken care of, mend some socks, mostly mend several items that had some small holes in them and brought the items in a week before Thanksgiving & said Id need them when I got back on the 2nd. I went there on the 8th and was told none of my things were ready! I wasnt happy! I was also not happy with the fact that he charged me more this go around than in the past. A hem job was now $20 which I had not recalled from before. I also have to always remember to bring my check book or cash as he doesnt take credit cards still. He is no longer close to where I live since Ive moved and with it being too unreliable as to getting my stuff back in a timely manner I will probably go somewhere else in the future. He used to be fair priced and do a quality job but I think he passes he work on to others there in the shop and so it doesnt get the same quality attention as it had in the past.

A very pleasant place to do business. The gentleman is kind, patient and above all, does excellent work at a reasonable price. Don’t expect to get your stuff back in24hrs though. They are busy so plan accordingly!!

PROS:• This place can work on heavy duty leather (motorcycle gear).CONS:• You will most likely have to call yourself to check on the work status.• Not great attention to detail.EXTRA:I took in my water proof backpack that had a broken zipper. I made it clear that I wear this backpack in the rain on my motorcycle and its important that a heavy duty water proof zipper is installed. The man said Sure, no problem. and told me that they would call me when my backpack was ready.A week and a half goes by and I havent received a call. I decided to call and check on the status, turns out that my backpack has been ready for a few days. I asked if a water proof zipper was installed and the guy was confused and didnt recall me requesting one, even though it should be obvious, as all of the other zippers on the backpack are waterproof, so its just poor judgment regardless to install a normal zipper. After he told me that he installed a normal zipper I said Its really important that the zipper is waterproof because I use the backpack in the rain. He went silent for 15 seconds, then said, So......did you still want to come pickup the backpack? LOL, I was so upset I said Sure, what other option do I have? I then hung up the phone. It gets even better. He charged me full price when I picked up the backpack, and the new zipper he installed is so cheap Im scared of its durability.
