We bought our home last year and it was in need of some significant repairs and remodeling. One of our realtors recommendations was Homeworks. We decided to go with them after meeting with several other contractors. We are glad we chose them to complete what turned out to be a full home remodel. Recently, Chris completed a major kitchen remodel for me and it turned out beautifully. Because it was progressing so well, I went on to update the entry way, bathrooms and dining room. The costs were fair and well-defined before we began each project (I had other contractors submit bids). Having done major remodels before, I knew how important it was to have respectful, reliable and professional people coming into my home each day and Chris and his workers met my expectations. They were on time, trust worthy and neat. They could also be flexible when needed. I appreciated the clean-up each day and the care they took with my house. Chris was also helpful with advice related to those details that can make the difference in a project, like choosing the right toilet or finding the best crown molding. Finally, I recognized Chriss efforts to work well with the City of San Jose or vendors we came in contact with, which is important in moving a project forward.

Chris and his crew just finished remodeling our three bathrooms. I cannot say enough good words about the work they have done. They are professional in the highest sense of the word, in all and every aspect of their work. Every suggestion they made was worth listening to and implementing. The perfection of their work is beyond any expectations, their work ethics is superb, they are always on time and deliver as promised, and they work extremely neatly, even when the dirtiest work is involved. We enjoy our new bathrooms every moment we use them, and we get a lot of compliments on the new looks. We are fortunate to have had worked With Chris and his crew, and we are sure everybody else would be as happy with them as we are.

I met with several contractors for our full home renovation, and Chris really stood out as a genuinely kind and helpful person to work with. He was easy to talk to, very honest and straightforward, and pointed out some things that a couple other contractors told me that I needed but actually didnt. His pricing was extremely fair and reasonable. The only reasons why we didnt go with Home Works are because of 1) our time-frame and 2) we need a company that would take care of all aspects of the project, such as design and engineering, due to our hectic schedules.Although we didnt go with Chris for this renovation, wed love to contact him for future remodeling projects. I was so impressed by his excellent communication and professionalism that I just had to write a stellar review.

We have done two bathroom remodeling jobs with Chris and his team, and theyve done a very high quality, professional job every time. They stayed true to their quote and did not change things up mid way through. They took excellent precautions to protect the surroundings and carpet and floors while they did their work. When my brother passed away last year,my 89-year old mom could no longer live in her house in Cupertino and moved to Hawaii to live with me and my family. I was tasked with remodeling her house (bathrooms and kitchen) and tried to find a good contractor in an area. While I lived in CA 30 years ago and have friends in the area, I did not have any idea on who could do the work. It was also difficult going back and forth between HI and CA. My mom also had a lot of items still in the house that had to be sorted through and these items would be in the house while construction was in progress.After three different contractors looked at the house and gave estimates, I finally decided to try going through Home Depot. Fortunately, Home Works was given the contract for only the kitchen and bathroom cabinets. I ended up hiring Home Works to do a complete remodel of the kitchen and bathrooms. This included obtaining all required permits, installing a new electrical box, re-wiring the kitchen and bathrooms to bring them up to code (safety!), ripping out damaged flooring and replacing (their tile work is dope!), installing vent fans, etc. They are THAT good..and more.Chris, Paul and Jerry are the ultimate professionals in every sense of the word. They have high standards and they do not cut corners or try to cover up imperfections that may come back to cost the homeowner even more in the future. Their work is top-notch. I cant begin to describe how impressed I am with this each and every one of them. I had to travel back and forth from Hawaii and, most of the time, I was not in the house when they were working. Because of the emotional aspect surrounding the renovation and the distance between my home in HI and the CA house, I felt pretty vulnerable and acutely aware that anyone working on the house could take advantage of the situation. I came to trust them implicitly. When I was in the house (painting), I could tell they were extremely skilled and efficient. As mentioned in a previous review, Chris is the glue that holds it all together. Pauls expertise and craftsmanship are outrageous!Im very grateful to have crossed paths with Home Works.
