This Camera Repair shop is owned by Mr Carlos who is a nice, polite spoken and a very knowledgeable guy. My wife had an issue with the lens of her Canon DSLR camera. Mr Carlos was quick to detect and rectify the issue. His services are affordable. When we asked him about the best cameras available in the market, he was kind enough to guide us. We highly recommend Mr Carlos camera repair shop. It is the best place to go for camera repair in this area.

My first experience with Carlos was great. I needed my lens fixed and he was able to get the job done at a very affordable cost. I recently brought a camera that was damaged due to filming to close to an MRI and he brought it back to life in no time.

I had issue with my Rolleicord with fungus on taking lens. Found this place on google, the owner is super polite and professional. He cleaned my lens to brand new condition within 20 min and charged me reasonable 40 dollar. Even though he told me he does not deal with old TLR cameras he definitely has the skill and know how. Highly recommend this store to everybody, trust me, it is hard to find a reliable camera place like here that even charges regular price these days.

They were quick in fixing my camera but sloppy in their office. Make sure to make note what you are turning in because they will claim that it wasnt there or it didnt come with it. The price was fair

Dropped brand new Digital SLR Nikon D850 camera on first hike out with it and cracked the camera so bad that rear panel was misaligned and view finder was damaged. We sent the busted camera to Nikon for repairs but it was returned with a sorry letter and an offer to purchase a refurbished camera for $2K.Contacted Camera Repair & Audio Services and was told to bring it in. They ordered the replacement parts and put it back together for one fraction of the cost of a new one. This place is awesome so dont hesitate to reach out to them as they can fix just about anything!!!

Very poor customer service. They were competent in getting my item repaired, however I had to call to get any update 5 times. They did not even tell me when they got my camera fix. I had to ask them to start fixing my camera after a week for a small repair. On top of the pricing felt absolutely terrible. for a minor fix, I would never go here.

The owner was fast, friendly and even suggested I fill out my passport application online so that there wouldnt be any issues in processing it and gave me a slip of paper telling me the website to go to. Even though I already knew how to get the passport form online, I appreciated his genuine wish to help his customer.

So far these guys have been able to fix everything I have brought to them ( a few betamaxs, portable DAT, receiver/amp ) . I trust them enough to bring other peoples audio/video equipment to them for repair. The only thing I brought them that they could not help with was a 2TB hard drive that spins up but doesnt come online. Data recovery is not their specialty but I would recommend them to anyone who has hi-end audio/video devices that need repair.

Carlos not only fixed my sony alpha nex5 lens but also was super generous to let me use his lens for free while repairing mine. Even though the place seems unnoticeable from the outside, great customer service and very professional!

My expensive Canon SLR lens broke after falling from kitchen counter, took it to Camera Repair & Audio service for diagnosis, they charged $25 for diagnosis and finally fixed the lens for $165 (including initial $25 towards repair charges). But when i used it outdoor first time after few weeks, found lens auto focus was not working fine during zoom, so took it back to them and they agreed to do free diagnosis, wow, and after they found the issue, they agreed to fix it for free as part of their warranty and they fixed it with in 1day and lens was working fine.Thank you so much for all your help.

I wont be back here and dont recommend you bring your camera here for any repair. My review is based on 3 separate occasions Ive gone here for different work to different camera bodies and always dealt with Carlos.Communication is poor, it always has been on all 3 occasions. More than half the time, they wont followup with a phone call to confirm work has been completed or notify you of delay in repair. Youll need to call and followup. Most significant concern is that they do not perform standardized checks of equipment to confirm what is and is not working on whats dropped off. 2 out of 3 times I took cameras here, issues were very standard and in spite of their poor processes for assessing cameras, repairs resulted in working cameras with significantly faster turnaround time than I would have experienced with Phototech in NYC.The third and final time I took a camera here, because of their poor diagnostic work and lack of attention to detail, they broke the pcb board and camera came back to me more broken than when I dropped it off (memory card door wouldnt close completely but everything else was fully functional), with lcd screen not working, then green tint on all images and video (main component board had been damaged). And when I dropped it off the first time, I showed Carlos that shutter release worked normally and both viewfinder and lcd screen worked as expected too. He later claimed over the phone that he didnt recall seeing me show that to him but acknowledged that he doesnt have a standardized process for checking incoming gear for operation/non-operation of various functions. Long story short, in addition to $365 I spent for their shoddy repair work, I spent over $500 more dollars to repair my camera with Phototech.I called them back after receiving quote from Phototech to fix damaged caused by Camera Repair and Audio Service and spoke to Carlos. I explained what had happened and the additional work I needed to have done. He apologized and offered me a free sensor cleaning. I declined his offer and told him I wouldnt be back.I wont be back here and dont recommend you bring your camera here. Phototech in NYC provided much better, professional, albeit slightly slower service with additional cost of shipping. Only thing they didnt do well was send me a tracking number (but shipment showed up on my door 3 business days after I paid for repair).
