I was overwhelmed with the idea of preparing my parents home for sale. It was a moderately sized home with lots of stuff they accumulated over the years. Sandy took care of everything. After I grabbed what I wanted to keep, she found a charity that cleaned out EVERYTHING (whether it had any value or not) and hauled it all away at no cost. She had very practical advice about turning the home into a showpiece without spending money on anything that wasnt going to show a positive return. She took care of arranging all the repairs and upgrades, and we had the home on the market in about 4 weeks. During that period, she was accumulating buyer interest, so by the time it hit the market, it had 4 competing offers within 7 days. I already had high expectations for the selling price, but the final sale pleasantly went way beyond my expectations. Their team is great with communication and response. I have known Althea as a close personal friend for many years now and when It was time to buy my partners and I first home I knew Althea could help us out. I’ve always known Althea to be a negotiator but WOW did she help us out!!!!  She saved us on so many closing costs. When the previous owners of our home left behind personal items and ruined carpet, she immediately got on the phone to get haulers there to remove the junk furniture and get the carpets replaced. She itemized each item in terms of what it would take to prep and showcase our home and what it would cost. She exposed the good and the bad to give us a clear and honest picture of how things will unfold and what to do on setting the initial sales price and what some of the pitfalls may be if we priced it wrong.Many of the other realtors did similar reviews with us, but we found Sandys approach very genuine, honest, and there was no pressure to sign with her. Tuscana Properties also had a lot of different services aside from just listing and selling your home and these programs ranged from front ending the cost of upgrades/repairs, lending you their moving truck, and helping you look after the place if youve already moved out - like making sure the lawn and garden was well upkept.Our process went very well from listing our home to leveraging Sandys contacts and contractors to completely paint, repair broken items, stage, photograph, show the home, maintaining the lawn, to finally getting the highest price for our home. Her team informed us of all activities and made sure we were getting things done on time and in the correct order and also helped coordinate the contractors, inspectors, cleaners, photographer, and the staging team. It was very critical for us to have all of this managed for us as we had moved out of our home before listing it.Sandys team also sent us all the latest activity around our neighborhood so we were well informed of other homes being sold and the ones coming onto the market.
