Everything about this project of transferring old reels of film from the 1940s into digital video was great. First, Movette the shop is very cool (basically a museum) and Buck is highly knowledgable. I was able to look at the reels (with a lesson in loading them) to see what I wanted to transfer first. I had 4 reels made into video and the result was terrific. It was not an overnight process, but I had already waited two decade, so what was a three week wait? It was literally bringing the past back to life! The colors were rich and saturated, the film speed was accurate and my whole family really enjoyed watching these. We will watch for years to come. Thank you Buck!

I recommend Movette for transfer of archival film.Im a video colorist and for 30 years was also a finishing editor. Last year I inherited 20 years of 8mm family movies. I wanted to transfer them to digital and was hoping to keep the job in town. Buck did a test for me and the results were good. I cant recommend Movette more highly. I give them ten stars

This place is such a gem for creatives who love film... Buck is a helpful and knowledgeable guy. Every time I go in I learn something new. Best of all, their film transfer process is one of the best in the industry. I love how good my footage looks when I pick it up.
