I dont think there is enough space to write how much of an awesome experience it has been to work with Dom. One of our first priorities was to find a videographer, after finding Dom I can tell you 100% hands down that he WILL BE THE BEST decision you can make for your big day. LOOK NO FURTHER AND HIRE HIM NOW.Dom creates a masterpiece, his work is shown in every video he makes. Its definitely art and he edits it beautifully. He has your best interest at heart and he follows through 100%. His communication skills go above and beyond, I never had to wait more than an hour to hear back from him through email or more than 10 min through text! He answers your questions very thoroughly. He is very affordable and worth EVERY penny. I have had two people tell me they would renew their vows JUST to have Dom film their wedding, everyone that watches our video loves it.During the big day:Your wedding day flies by and there is not enough time to do everything let alone have the time to deal with vendors. You just hope that they know what they are doing and do it right. The day of, Dom and his crew showed up to the hotel and started setting up right away. I did not have to worry about him or his crew as they moved around us so smoothly you could hardly tell they were there ( and there were about 5 of them!) You could tell they knew exactly what to do and how to do it and not ONCE did he or his crew bother us for anything. Also, and this is very important, they worked great with our photographer and did not get in the way at all while he was taking pictures. To be honest, my favorite part was the fact that I did not even see or feel Dom or his crew throughout the ceremony and reception, its like they were invisible but after seeing our final video, they got EVERYTHING documented. I mean at the end of the day that is what you want! You want them to document everything but not feel like they are in your faces and making you aware that they are filming you. He was able to catch us all naturally and it was perfect. After seeing all the pictures from my wedding I could see that Dom and his crew went above and beyond to get perfect angles of our first dance, speeches, ceremony, etc. For example, in some pictures i can see some of them laying on the ground or propped on top of stairs (what Im trying to get to here is uncomfortable positions) for the sake of getting that perfect angle. THAT IS COMMITMENT!!!!POST WEDDING:After the wedding my husband and I decided to do a second photo shoot. We called Dom and asked if he would be available to document that second photo shoot and add it to our final product, and without a question he agreed and accommodated us in his busy schedule. He made it happen and that addition was perfect to our final video.As promised, close to 6 months later, he contacted us saying our final product was ready! Now I know that 6 months seems so long to wait for the final video BUT Dom made sure to send us wedding clips here and there throughout the 6 months which was perfect! He kept giving us little tastes of his job and they were amazing and just made you crave the final product. It is def worth the wait.Finally, the day came when we went to his house to see our final video. He went through everything in detail and showed us every single part of the DVD set that you get. We saw our highlight video and I am not lying or exaggerating when I say this, I cried at how beautiful and perfect it was. It took me back to that day as if it was yesterday and for a video to do that? It has to be done by an expert. We left beyond satisfied and reassured once again that we had made the right choice. Dom and his team are HANDS DOWN the best decision you will make for beautiful long-lasting memories of your special day. First off, let me start by saying that I found Bay Area VDO by searching videographers in the San Francisco Bay Area (a very general search) and he was the first listing. After spending half an hour on his site and watching a handful of his highlight videos for previous clients, I KNEW Dom was our man. He was incredibly quick to respond and we had a meeting scheduled for that same week. Throughout the entire process, from our first meeting until our last when we received our finished product, Dom was attentive and always ready to answer any questions. The day of the wedding, he and his team were barely noticeable yet they captured the most magical moments of the day. Our finished product came out better than we could have imagined. Our highlight video had us sobbing happy tears within the first 30 seconds. Not only is Dom able to capture the moments, his editing skills are beyond phenomenal which left us with the most beautiful video which we (God willing) will share with our children one day. As everyone who has left a review for Bay Area VDO Production all I have is nothing but the highest appreciation and gratitude of having them film my wedding in September of 2018. For me, I did my due diligence and started my search on yelp with the highest rated videographers for their work. I spent hours looking at multiple vendors work and pricing of the packages they offered and always ended up with Bay Area VDO Production as my number one choice. Now the decision with proceeding forward with booking them took some hesitation on my end due to the amount of money that needed to be down paid but after multiple emails back and forth as well with meeting up in person with Dom I was put at ease knowing that my down payment was going to a videographer who does an amazing job capturing the essence of ones wedding and incorporating the music of ones preference to bring out the emotion of a wedding and make it unique to them. The process that Dom has in place is by far the easiest I had to deal with compared to the other vendors I booked for my wedding. Reason why was that the communication was as minimal as possible as some might know gets very stressful leading up to the big day. Now dont get me wrong if youre uncertain about anything throughout the process Dom is more then willing to discuss any of your concerns until your confident with everything. Now as for the filming throughout my wedding day Dom and his staff do an amazing job of letting you be yourself with family and friends with minimal to none direction on getting certain shots or angles which I feel adds to the authenticity to your wedding video. I was looking for a videographer for my best friends wedding. There are so many of them from the search so I have to go with the best reputation and reviews since they do this only once (i hope :>). On the wedding day, Dom, the videographer put many cameras for all the best angels. He and his crew was so friendly and very professional. I just got a chance to see the finished video last week. I was sooooooo happy that I made the right decision. The video told a story about wedding so well that were smiling and crying with the the tear of joy while watching the vdo. Dom, thanks so much for spending time capturing all of the best meaningful footage for us. I definitely will use him in my wedding (if im lucky to have one LOL). There was great communication throughout our wedding planning. We had to add on a couple extra hours and it was no problem. Ive been a wedding DJ for over 20 years and I choose to reserve judgement on another wedding pro until Ive worked with them at least twice. Ive worked with Bay Area VDO Production two times. Both times, I was extremely impressed. Dom and his crew are very professional and easy to work with!First of all, they are all friendly & pleasant team players. Second, they are self-sufficient. They didnt need to connect into a sound system for their audio feed. This can be an over-looked problem when choosing a videographer because what if there is no audio system at your wedding ceremony or reception to tap into? Third, they have multiple cameras working at all times to capture different angles. Fourth (probably most important), they arent as visible as many videographers and photographers Ive seen. Meaning, theyre not crowding the bride and groom when theyre filming and blocking the view of important guests that are there to enjoy the moment. Fifth, their work is AMAZING!!! They filmed a music video at one of the weddings and was blown away by their creativity.One of the biggest regrets of most brides is that they didnt hire a professional videographer. Amazing doesnt even begin to describe the level of service provided by Bay Area VDO. Theres so many decisions to make when planning a wedding - and I have to admit, choosing Bay Area VDO was by the far the easiest and best decision we made. My husband and I knew that we wanted to hire a videographer to capture all the special moments of our day and Dom and his team were an easy choice. We probably watched all his videos that he posted online before meeting with him and each one brought either laughs or tears to our eyes. He has an amazing gift and has truly found his calling. Dom has the ability to not only capture all the right moments, but has a rare gift of putting it all together. His editing skills are impeccable! This review is long overdue. We are from Houston, Texas, but had our wedding at the beautiful Cavallo Point Lodge in Sausalito last September.Dom and his team of videographers were absolutely incredible. They showed up early, set up and went to work immediately. The crew stayed out of the way but were able to capture every single moment of the wedding, from the pre-ceremony music, to the tree planting to the final toast.When we got the finished product, we couldnt help but shed some happy tears. Dom captured EVERY important moment of the wedding and produced a master piece that we will treasure forever. He is meticulous, artistic and most of all, he listens to what we wanted. Since we are not from the Bay Area, I wanted him to capture some outdoor scenes (driving across GG Bridge, etc). And boy did he deliver in his finished product!We highly recommend Dom and Bay Area VDO to anyone who is looking for a wedding videographer. Do it! You will NEVER regret this.
