Thousands of dollars across multiple invoices for depositions we didnt order/want/receive. Trying to contact the company is useless.
Caveat Emptor:I appeared at a deposition. My client and I did not want the transcript, and made this abundantly clear to the court reporter - Cindy Kaiser. At the close of the proceeding, I declined the transcript. However, Ms. Kaisers inaccurate reporting stated I said yes. From there, U.S. Legal Support took it upon themselves to bill me for a product I never asked for or received. The dispute has been going on for months, and now the matter was sent to collections. U.S. Legal Support is aware of the situation and has been completely unhelpful in reaching an appropriate resolution. Right. They send you to collections. Just make sure you do an errata sheet so you dont get billed for a transcript that you never order or received. I send out this warning in good faith as there are many excellent reporters out there. Do not use this company or the folks they contract with.
Terrible customer service. They hold your transcripts hostage until they receive payment, which is fine except they dont provide timely invoices. Trying to get in contact with anyone is a nightmare. So far today, three phone calls, one voicemail and one e-mail. Not a single reply. They are absolutely incompetent. How their business keeps its doors open is beyond me.
