Okay, BEST THING EVER!Yesterday was my BFFs birthday and I found this amazing company who is doing Virtual: facetime / zoom / or pre-recorded sing-a-grams due to all this craziness going on.My friends husband and I told the guy a bunch of hilarious stuff about my friend before he called, so the whole FaceTime was personalized about her. It was hysterical and she LOVED it!There are so many characters to choose from and they do same day requests! He called me back within minutes of filling out the form online.Another funny thing he has been doing is business zoom meetings....which companies have loved he said. Brian has had several virtual happy hours and this would be hilarious to do during one of them.Im all about promoting companies that truly deserve it! This guy was so great, and like a lot of companies, hes only making a small percentage due to all this mess.So please think of Big Apple Singing Telegrams for birthdays, funny business meeting ideas, or any other occasion.

My wife and I had to miss a 70th birthday party for a friend in Orinda, California. Arranged for Marilyn (Julie) to appear in person and wish him a Happy Birthday. Marilyn was the hit of the party. Multiple friends emailed pictures and great reviews. Good job!

This past Sunday was a dear friend of mines birthday. I live in New York City and she lives in San Francisco. My flight to SFO was cancelled last minute and therefore I was going to miss her birthday. Being the day of, I was desperate to find a way of telling her Happy Birthday but I did not want to do so by sending flowers, texting, calling or any other traditional fashion. I decided on a signing telegram, after all when was the last time you heard of someone receiving a signing telegram? The movie Clue in the 80s??? I did a quick Google search and found Singing Telegrams SanFrancisco. I submitted my request and immediately received a phone call from John, the owner of the company. I explained my situation and in less than 30 mins he arranged to have Frank Sentra arrive at my friends house at 9pm with my special birthday request. At 8:55 pm I received a text from a mutual friend of me and the birthday girl. Turns out, instead of being home as I was told, my friend had decided to go out. Our mutual friend gave me the address of what I thought was her house. I immediately reach out to John and while apologizing profusely asked if his singing telegramer could change course and go to this new address in which he said no problem. 10 mins later I received a call from John explaining that the new location was a bar and that the person whos number I provided was not answering. John also explained that a bar is much more complicated given it is a public place and likely to have loud music. I am very embarrassed at this point and was sure John was going to say I am sorry sir but I am going to send my performer home and we are going to keep the money. I asked John to hold for one moment while I called my friend. She picked up and I said you are to go outside right now and say Frank Sentra real loud. She resisted and I said do it!! She walked outside and did as she was told and I heard a gentlemen say here at which point her and I got off the phone. I clicked back over to John and he said he was happy that they connected. I insisted that I pay extra but then we agreed that the performer deserved all the credit; I doubled his tip and waited to hear the out come. Within 15 mins my phone is ringing off the hook. Frank Sentra nailed it. He sung to my friend outside the bar while everyone looked on. I was told everyone was envious of my friend and that she spoke about it all night. It was the best birthday most unique surprise she had ever received. She was still speaking about it two days. I called John back to express my gratitude and to let him know that because him and his performer went above and beyond in providing such a special surprise that they had created priceless memories that will be spoken about for years to come.
