Terrible pedicure! Basically soak and cut toe nails. No real effort. DIDNT even clean cuticles! When asked to add another coat due to some shadowing and discolorente under a light color, the once nice lady, was not happy with me. Her energy immediately changed. She just wanted to move on to the next. I get pedicures every 2 weeks…. This was by far a stay home moment and have my 8 yr old niece do the job. What a shame! I was hopeful. Chose not to get my nails done after all.

They are open, just not every day. They are adjusting their hours due to pandemic lockdown instructions from the city. They have always done a good job and I went there recently and they were wonderful, as usual.

The staff are very efficient, knowledgeable and care about their clients. After my second visit everyone greeted me by name. Appointment times are honored, unlike other places that take walk-ins knowing it will run beyond your appointment time. Salon is neat and clean.

I’ve had two bad experiences, several years apart. First was the time the owner, without my prompting, set 4 of her workers on me at once (one each for both hands and feet). It was evidently a slow day. When I paid I included a standard 10% tip and the owner actually berated me for not giving enough tip for all 4 of her employees! She was expecting a 40% tip so each of them would get 10%...fat chance!I didn’t go back for several years, but last month my go-to shop was closed and I needed to get my nails in shape for a pending business trip...and I ordered gelish nails on fingers and toes. Well, it took almost 2 hrs and several tries with the UV curing routine to get them all done. They kept saying the polish wasn’t curing well enough (and they would file down and redo)...but when finished they did look lovely. That is until it was time to change them 2 weeks later. All of my nails are deeply stained. It’s going to take months to grow them out. This happened I assume because they over-processed the light curing. I’ve had lots of gels and shellacs on my nails and I’ve NEVER seen such staining. AND I’LL NEVER USE GLEN PARK NAILS AGAIN. Buyer beware!

I’ve been going to Susan and her staff for more than 10 years. I simply won’t go anywhere else. You won’t find a cleaner or friendlier nail shop anywhere.

Susan is very sweet and great at what she does, but I cant say the same for everyone who works here. Results may vary. I do really enjoy the atmosphere here and I wish results were more consistent.

Love the ladies who work here. They always greet me with a big hello and ask how my family is doing. I come here regularly for pedicures. They are usually busy in the evenings, so I try to come here on off hours. But it seems like the location and the great work lends itself to have good business, which makes me happy. Im glad theyre doing well as I want to continue to have a great place for a mani/pedi.

Agree with above horrible nail salon. I found the place by chance while parked right infront. Used to go to another salon in glen park but decided to try it out. First, they r rude in greeting & telling u that they dont accept credit card if not more $25 so I decided to do gel instead of regular so I can be higher. Second, they keep talking about how clever they r and that they focus on details more than salons in the area and that is why they r more expensive. Fine, I have no problem of paying more if I will get a better service!!!! But I ended up with gel manicure & regular pedi that was horribly done. Paying over over 40 or 45 dollars for the same service thr I used to pay only 25!!! No details what so ever :( basic filling was done horribly, so resulting in chipped gel manicure the next morning (less than 12 hours later)!!! I was so upset that I decided will never go back but also I need to say something because they do claim that they r the best and that is why they charge much higher!!!!!!! Do not go there!!!! If u want me to post photos of my nails the next day, I did take pictures with the date and my credit card shows that I went 6 pm the day before!

Horrible nail salon. They pushed back one of my cuticles so hard that my finger was inflamed for a week, and made an opening between my nail and my skin. Another time I came in they did such a horrible job with my top coat, it was very obvious it looked bad and they were going to let me leave the shop like that. I had to tell them after my nails dried to fix them. I will never go back here, need to find a new place in the area to go.

I love how clean and relaxing everything is. I came to Sue when she had her old shop one block up on Chennery but this location is soooo much better!!

Horrible! A 15 minute spa Mani/pedi. No massage. Hurried me out to get next person in chair. Messed up nails as they hurried me out and just did a clear coat over to fix them. Very rude people work here. Go elsewhere!!!
