Melissa assisted my husband and me with a high conflict divorce mediation.  Our case had a little of everything, and at first, I was not convinced my husband and I would be able to resolve our disputes outside of court.  Melissa easily navigated all of the ups and downs and helped us stay focused on doing what was best for our kids.  Melissa is very calm, and that rubbed off on us. Melissa also helped us exchange informal discovery to ascertain the division of high-value assets.  After over six months of back and forth negotiations, we reached a final settlement a couple of months ago.  Melissa and her staff drafted a comprehensive settlement agreement that both of our attorneys were impressed with.  I highly recommend Melissa to anyone who wants to avoid the stress of litigation.

This review is long overdue. Melissa and her staff assisted me with a long-term child support case. At the time I found Melissa, my wife and I were overwhelmed by the process. My ex-wife filed a motion for long term support of my adult son. My ex-wife had spent more than 10+years creating a false narrative about my sons health issues including volumes and volumes of doctor reports, etc. Melissa and her staff reviewed all of the documentation and quickly familiarized themselves with medical journals, the doctors reports and the issues involved in my case. Melissa also retained a top notch doctor to assist with the case. After a year and half of dueling back and forth with my ex-wife, we were successful at trial. While the case cost more than I would have liked to pay, I would have no problem paying it all again. Melissas attention to detail and knowledge of court procedures far exceeded my expectations for a case like mine. I would recommend Melissa and her staff to anyone looking for a competent attorney that also cares about her work and getting a favorable result for her client.

Melissa works hard for her clients. Her follow up and updates surpassed any legal interaction I’ve ever had. She was proactive to let me know she will be in trial so I knew she wouldn’t be responsive on a particular day or days which I find quite helpful. If something urgent came up on trial days, Melissa would review the material and communicate for follow up and deadline information after trial in the evenings.Melissa Polk’s communication and the time she takes to answer questions and help you navigate matters of law are excellent. I have met so many woman going through divorces who can’t get a hold of their attorneys during times of crisis such as when their exes will be served the initial paperwork and they’re scared of continued violence. I wish I had worked with Melissa sooner in my life so I could recommend her. These women would have benefited from an attorney who will have your back.

If you see 5 stars she did those herself or bullied someone to do it !!I’ve never seen anyone lie as much as this person. She manipulates the judges and they allow her too. She met her match with me. She thinks she’s winning and even if she really wins something, I will be the constant reminder that free speech lives. This woman stretched out our family law case two more years and out of 15 pages on the docket over 6.5 years, 11 of those pages during a year and a half are just from her. What that means is she took my ex husband for enough money that he could’ve bought a few properties! She will immediately attack this post....lol probably in her sleep! But trust me when I say that you will waste your money because family court really is a racket. When she started on our case, 4 years had passed. This was the first time the attorneys met with our 7th judge (it’s been nine now). They met in chambers and decided how the case would go and whose turn it was to win. That’s what they do. The judges and attorneys look out for each other and drain you of your money. Look how many family law attorneys there are now. They aren’t winning with me cuz I’m always a step ahead but it’s so bad that the clerks are in on it too. If you represent yourself they all work together to deny everything from you and they break the law to do it. They turned my husband into a monster who doesn’t even see his kids after 28 years. He is sick, Melissa Polk is sick and the entire thing is absolutely corrupt. I raised my kids now so I don’t care what they do to me. If something happens to me then it’s them. Trust meDon’t get married with a state license cuz they actually own your marriage and if it ends they take you for everything
