Two years at Quantum has taught me an unbelievable amount about myself and how I engage with the world. The dojo is an inclusive, non-competitive, and safe space to learn, grow and be challenged. I would recommend classes to any adult or child interested in martial arts or seeking a welcoming community.
This place is the best! As an adult learning martial arts for the first time I couldnt have asked for a safer space to do so. Spending time growing my skills here has made me healthier in every sense. So fortunate to have stumbled my way into this amazing community!
Walking in the door I felt immediately welcomed and peaceful. Ive been a student here for 10 months now, and Ive been challenged mentally and physically in ways that are totally new to me, but have felt incredibly safe the entire time.
Great new and expanding facility, and an assortment of new adult and kids classes makes it a great time to get involved at this friendly, inclusive, and non-competitive martial arts studio. Parents, check out the concurrent adult and kids classes.
Quantum is unique blend of traditional styles developed from Master Evan’s 30 years experience in martial arts. Rachel Evan’s takes a holistic approach to martial arts where you develop your body, mind, and spirit. Beginner classes start with a 45 minute warm-up with yoga and calisthenics then move on to an hour of going over the basics of Quantum martial arts, which is heavily based in Tae Kwon Doe.
I have trained at Quantum Martial Arts since 2012. If you are looking for a inclusive, community driven dojo that practices the integrity of martial arts, this is the place for you! The first two weeks are free, so you can decide if the dojo and you are the right fit. Stay for 6 months, stay for 6 years... everyones karate journey will look and feel differently. There are classes almost every day of the week. Warm-Ups focus on body strengthening and conditioning; basics class teaches step-by-step how to punch and kick; fundamentals class that show sparring strategies; general class gives you the opportunity to practice sequences for your rank; forms class to practice choreographed movements; and, sparring class that builds awareness of practical application. After 6 years of practicing here, what drives me to train is a teacher, Rachael Evans, who shows me the beauty of the movement.
Warm, welcoming, and powerful this experience is worth checking out.
