I had to take advantage of their services before and, although its not the most attractive or comfortable place, its surely better than being in the weather alone all night. Its sad that it seems to have had to close up due to the pandemic, I hoped it would be able to help someone.

This place is ok but its not clean at all and the workers are not to worried about keeping it clean either. Although the mission behind the vision is great. How ever they really should put workers there that have the same outlook on helping people as the actual business itself.

Anyone giving this place five stars h has NEVER been in the position of the women who must use this terrible facility. They can and SHOULD be complained about formally and investigated thoroughly. They exist on grants and city aid and are entirely subject to approval. So if theyre services are not up to a reasonable & usable standard, it is entirely within our power to compel better from them. Dont suffer silently or waste ur discontent here where it wont help u. Google file complaint for health service agency and follow the links. You are only as helpless a victim of circumstance as u will tolerate being.

Awesome outreach program. Very accommodating. Clean towels, shampoo and conditioner provided. Washing machines and dryers for laundry. They need softer chairs for the ladies to sleep in over night.

If youre not accustomed to prison life you will be in for a rude awakening. Although in a prison you likely have a cement slab to sleep on. Drop-in has only rows and rows of chairs.. yes, to sleep in... Many people have lived in their chairs for days, weeks, month, and even YEARS!Sometimes theres donated food from local churches and charities. Lots of competition for access to bathroom/shower;. plumbing is unreliable but usable.I could critique the staff, but will leave that alone. Not into re-living bad memories.

Rude staff, hours for showers have become unreasonable. Used to be available 23 hours a day...now only 8 to 11:30 am and 2:30 to 9:30 pm...if you have a job it makes it crazy hard to manage! It is almost as if they are trying to render those who are tryi.g to get back on their feet unable to do so. I am glad to have a place to shower but I do wish they were little more flexible with people who have challenging schedules. Nobody here has ever offered me any information Im getting help for housing or social services information all they seem to do is speaking somewhat condescending way to most of the women who spend their days theyre sitting up in hard chairs ignoring anyone who tries to ask them a question and putting movies in VCR which is cast to a big screen TV in the family area. Most of which are unsuitable for young people.

The sheltered are forced close in chairs; so VERY close to remain sheltered, when beside ME one bent over during vertical sleeping to vomit stale liqour I thought she was simply wilting for trying to sleep upright. Actually she was vomiting into MY grocery bag.The staff I observed were resolved to kindness, patience, viable referral information( I checked) and fair distribution of provisions donated to the facilty.

This is not a good place. The staff treats the women here bad. I was taking a shower and the black man in night shift actually came into the shower yelling at me that it was not shower time. I felt very violated. Also there are elderly people and mentally confused people sleeping in chairs here night after night talking to themselves with no one to help them figure out a goal of future better place to live. One old lady was crying that she needed to go to the bathroom, staff said no bathroom is closed now so she peed in the trash can and got kicked to the street for 90 days. This was an old lady!!! Really disgusting how people are treated.
