In my opinion, this is by far the best gym in San Francisco. However you will pay for it $$. With the addition of the sauna and the steam room as a part of this gym/hotel hybrid location, It doesnt get better than this. Oh, did I mention that the Tonga room is literally right outside the front doors of the gym ๐. Love it. ๐คA huge disclaimer about this review is that I live to blocks away from this location so I can walk to the gym. If you need to find parking... good luck ๐.
I usually donโt leave bad comments, but this gym is TERRIBLY AWEFUL!!!They donโt give back deposit, they try to fool you to sign the contract. Their contract terms makes no sense. Be careful to read every word, they wonโt highlight these inequity clauses. And the membership fee is much higher than other gyms. Very limited facilities. And I also lost my personal belongings (value more than 100 dollars). They promised me to help me find it but they never responded to me afterwards.Donโt go to this stupid place, youโll regret.
Part of Livefit Wellness gym locations in the Fairmont hotel on the hilly side of Nob Hill neighborhood. Great staffs and full spa service offerings. I go here a couple times a week to do strength training and treat myself to steam room and sauna after.
Nice gym but having yoga mats available would be beneficial. Also more elliptical machines and treadmills would be a beneficial addition to this gym.Great gym for lifting.
Read this comment and other recent reviews, look at Yelp comments and definitely GO TO SOMEWHERE ELSEExtra feesRude employeesFewer facilitiesEXTREMELY Horrible
This is an awesome gym with awesome staff members (Paul, Alex, Dr. Labit, etc.). There are no shortage of things you can do at this gym and its always great to literally get a breath of fresh air with the outdoor workouts. I moved so I wasnt able to attend any of the classes, but Id assume that they are great too.Highly recommend (esp. if you live in the Nob Hill/Russian Hill area).
Nice place to enjoy your daily workout
I wish i read these comments before i decide to enroll in the membership. The most horrible experience Iโve ever had
The gym has evolved and has done a good job of organizing a fairly small space. Staff is friendly and the gym is clean.
Why I canโt give ZERO star ???!!! The service is horrible, Iโd rather jogging on Russian Hill.
Good variety of equipment, services, and other amenities. I would highly recommend to anyone.
Visiting SF with my wife. Brian Reed at the front desk was very helpful and friendly setting us up with weekly passes and guiding us thru the clubs amenities. The club itself is well-setup and has all the equipment we need to maintain our fitness throughout our visit. As we are in the area often, we will be back.
Pretty good gym overall. When I moved and canceled, they charged me for the next month and then took a full other month to refund me.
A little confused because I couldnt tell if this was part of the Fairmont (only) or if it was a separate gym that the Fairmont also pays for its guests to use? Either way, I was impressed for a hotel gym. Ive never seen any fitness center attached to a hotel have TRX equipment.I was impressed with the amount of equipment they have, there was a cardio room, a weight room and then another room with a mirror/kettlebells upstairs. As far as workouts go when Im traveling, this place had more than enough equipment to satisfy my needs. Im not sure Id pay separately for this gym (if that was an option), but I was happy to have access to it as part of my stay at the hotel.
Upscale fitness in an attractive setting.
Great clients, chill environment, clean and compact
