The team here is truly outstanding. Moving to Industrious completely changed the energy/morale of our company. It was one of the best decisions we made in the last few years. The community they have curated is terrific. The support they provide is unparalleled and regularly exceeds expectations. Every day I show up to work I am happy to arrive. Caroline and Jonathan are wonderful individuals and a strong team of professionals. I cannot imagine working in any other environment.
Mark Hamblin hosted me and my business partner a few weeks back. The hospitality was exceptional and the space is gorgeous. The common area was welcoming yet intimate, and the people across the various offices were friendly. Great co-working vibes.
Inquired about a space and really felt everything about my experience was lackluster.1. I inquired about this location but I was sent multiple calendar invites to their other office in San Francisco and their Los Angeles location. I had to ask multiple times for the emails/invites to stop.2. I inquired about a Feb 1 office for 3 people. When I went to take the tour, they only had 4 persons available after April 1. Thanks for wasting my time.3. I was given instructions to come to the building and head upstairs. Didn’t inform me I needed an ID to get in, I had to check in, etc. The phone number listed for the Industrious contact was not valid. So there is that.4. I had a 10am appointment and I waited around for about 5-10 mins for the guy to show up.5. The guy (name refrained) kept asking me the issues I had with my WeWork. I didn’t think it was his business but he kept pushing. It was so uncomfortable.6. The space is “meh”. WeWork definitely has more amenities and a finished look and culture to it.7. Industrious seems to have a bit more personal office space compared to my WeWork but it’s not without the cost.Overall, really didn’t like my experience here and I warn others to ask the right questions before going to look at an office space they know isn’t available.
Gorgeous, clean office space. Great amenities and even better staff!
If I could give Industrious six stars, I would! Ive had the pleasure of working out of their Embarcadero and FiDi locations, respectively, and couldnt be happier with my office life. Caroline, Jonathan, Hollie, Keizha, and Sahar have an unrivaled service approach to office management that has made conventional office spaces a distant memory for me. In addition to the comforts of a trendy, new, built out office space in the epicenter of SF commerce, the Industrious crew is professional, responsive, kind, and effective. The tenants - other individuals or small firms - are a diverse set of interesting, accomplished professionals that add to a bustling office environment that I am proud to bring guests to. Im indebted to Industrious for helping me perform well in my career. Thank you.
Preface: I worked at this location (Financial District) of Industrious for one month during a visit to San Francisco in May-June of 2019.Industrious is a pretty top-notch coworking space. Their interior architecture design, is in my opinion, easily one of the better ones of the coworking spaces in the area. The offices, phone rooms, and common areas are a fair bit more spacious than other popular coworking spaces too. Overall, I feel that Industrious strikes a good balance between liveliness and professionalism when it comes to design.Compared to the average coworking space, it’s worth pointing out the provision of free snacks (fruits, bread, yoghurts, pop, etc.) and small food related events which are regularly organized; an example of such food events include an ice cream / popsicle event, a whisky and coke happy hour, a popcorn bar event, a DIY yoghurt bar event, and recently for world productivity day an assortment of brain foods. Even if you don’t partake in these food events, it is pretty cool to see events of these types, which take place about 2-3 times a week, as it sort of shows the commitment from Industrious to go the extra mile in adding value for their tenants.More particularly to this Financial District location of Industrious (I haven’t been to the Embarcadero location), the building (345 California Center) is pretty good looking from the inside and outside, it is equipped with the the new efficient type of elevators where you enter your floor number before you get on the elevator. However the windows on the building are not full wall windows, and since there are tall neighboring buildings, the opportunity for a good view from the office (if that’s important to you) is probably one thing lacking in this space. The part which stood out to me a lot during my work visit duration at this location of Industrious, was the community management/operations staff. It is hard to convey in a short text based review here the difference for a coworking space, which usually involve additional community interaction through small events and other interactions, between having alright-good staff and having great staff. The current staff whom include Jonathan and Caroline definitely fall under the latter category for me, they’re delightfully cordial and professional. I witnessed a really pleasing environment run by them during my time here.Overall, I look forward to seeing Industrious expand to more locations in and around the financial district.
