I am not one to write reviews generally. But I feel compelled to write this one because I hope to help someone else avoid the pain and frustration Ive been through over the course of the year.The first couple of interactions with the Liaise team were warm and friendly, starting off fine over a couple of video conference sessions. But, on the third, in-person visit, they took an irreversible turn for the worse when David Stein began to rage on me when I would not acquiesce to a demand of my exs. He berated me on behalf of my exs position by belittling, insulting, and demonizing me. He even ADMITTED to expressing a bias when I confronted him on it, which his contract expressly states the mediator shall not do. I believe this is one of his mediation tactics. Ive spoken to several mediation experts since, and they all agree that this type of tactic is unethical.I should have ended it there; instead, I focused on getting to a mutually beneficial outcome by taking over the negotiations directly with my ex while keeping David and his paralegal in the loop. I submitted the final MSA to Liaise to assist with filing and have not been able to get them to finalize the required forms nor to supporting the filing deadline in the agreement. This after paying $4,000 in fees with a guarantee that they would also prepare the required forms for filing and assist with the filling process.If you have an inkling that any terms of your separation/divorce will be contentious, I would not recommend using the Liaise team. It seems they are unskilled at anything other than strong arm tactics, and take issue when called on their unethical practices. I can share the short, terse, and confrontational emails to prove it.

Divorce Mediation was a lifesaver. I was nervous, confused and not certain what to do. The mediators at Liaise walked my ex and I through the process, we did NOT have to go to court. We saved our childrens college funds and although Divorce is painful I am blessed that my children did not have to experience the ugliness of a nasty Divorce. The custody, support and future of my children is settled and although there were tears we did not have such an ugly costly divorce.

I sure hope I never have to repeat the process, but if I do, Id work with David @ Liaise again. We did all our 3-way meetings online, a great use case for video conferencing!
