If I could give zero stars I would. My package was supposed to arrive in July and was apparently last at this PO. Ive been trying to call for 2 weeks. The package consists of belongings of and tributes to my 25 year old son who recently passed. Not much monetary value, but immeasurable sentimental value.

Not sure what the terrible reviews are about, maybe they got their act together? Mine was shipped on a route that is an estimated 48 hours to arrive, and it got here in less than that after departing. Glad I wasn’t part of any of the horror stories listed under me.

The San Francisco Distribution Center is very efficient. I got my package right on time even with all the problems caused by the pandemic

I sent a package to my 12 year old son in Jordan, and it’s been stuck in the San Francisco international distribution center for 10 days. No update or anything new in its status. Nobody answers phone calls or any kind of inquiry. It seems like this is the place where packages go to die, better yet, “go home” with the USPS employees. They need to shut down the US postal service for good!

They STILL havent delivered just the proof of my sent out certified mail. Also an important letter was in some WEIRD back & forth circle for over a month! How hard is it to get mail to the address thats ON THE ENVELOPE!?? Wow!

This should be against the law. Nobody answers the phone, packages are held hostage, people have paid delivery fees, and need their packages. You wonder why there is crazy people in the world and why someone would do something crazy to any of the workers there. STOP PLAYING WITH PEOPLES MONEY AND PACKAGES! whats wrong with you people.

I sent a box to American Samoa back in October. The last known whereabouts was at this center and just your package is still in transit but arriving late message. 3 months later my mom gets the box. The box I sent after this one in November went to Washington then to Hawaii and then to where it was suppose to go within 2 weeks time. The first box went to Seattle and for some nonsensical reason routed to San Francisco and there it was stuck. I had to file a claim listed everything in the box and it got them searching for it.Fast forward to April. I sent a box on 04/13 and it was routed to Washington and then to the land of no return San Francisco center. No other updates. Instead of waiting for a month and a half to pass I have filed a claim. The second box I just sent on 04/24 arrived in Hawaii on 04/26 and it routed through Washington. I am writing this in hopes that USPS will eventually do something about this. We know that theyre overwhelmed but paying for shipping that should get our packages delivered in 3 weeks time at the latest seems more than enough time. It makes no sense that packages not routed to San Francisco arrives on time while the ones going there is recieved months later after filing a claim for it. I just wanted the first box to get to my mom for mothers day. Hopefully it will. There is still hope San Francisco!!!!!!

My package was delivered December 7 and was not placed at my door but on front steps of my apartment complex. i have not received it because it was.stolen or taken. j reported it to the USPS lost and stolen department and it is now May. my items were 2.warmup suits $100 a piece. i now have my mail .mailed to tbe the V.A clinic. They did not leave a recipe like they used too. They dont care. i am going.to the office to get reimbursed. THIS IS A DAMN SHAME.TRUMP WAS RIGHT

I mailed a large package to Europe, paid over $200 and after a week it was returned to me from San Francisco without a reason. It was only marked missing without specifying what was missing. On top of that, its impossible to reach by phone anybody in San Francisco or USPS in general. I guess, the USPS doesnt have time to do any descent job any more because theyre too busy now spying on Americans and their social media. Thats the latest scandal revealed about them that theyre involved in the governments totalitarian shady activities.

I sent a time-sensitive package from New Zealand to Illinois. It has ended up sitting in this distribution center for over two and a half weeks now with no updates. No one answers the phone and email support is useless. Close it down!!!

This is where packages 📦 go to die. This month and last month over half of my orders have gone missing after reaching this distribution center. Somebody is stealing for sure. Dont they have cameras or security? Gifts and needed items just gone forever with no explanation.

I’ve ordered a small package from a company in the USA to be delivered to me in Canada, with the clear option to have express shipping and delivery with insurance for extra price.. guaranteed delivery in 3 days -it’s now been since last Thursday Oct 22 since this package has been sitting there at this location according the UPS tracking system protocol. Once I saw that this package is actually making its way more south-west instead of going north-east (towards the Canadian city where I am) is when I decided to search more regarding information on this facility and to my horror I come to find extremely negative reviews and low star ratings. I think people need to step up and rate all the venues, services, public places or private businesses that don’t merit any respect as businesses openly through these mean via google reviews and through any other means. These places need to stop operating, and the businesses which use these services via UPS should stop using these means of shipping.If they can’t do something with ethics and respect for costumers who initially put trust into their services and now do everything possible to discredit and violate trust, then these businesses need to step out the way and allow a healthier and more productive character come through who’s capable of delivering as promised.

The package arrived after 3 months. The problem is that some shipments do not have an international tracking number, and it appears that the package is still in the distribution center.

Someone at this distribution center stole half of my items (at least a couple hundred dollars worth items stolen/missing) and they repackaged very neatly. There is no indication of box damaged and repackaged. Oh and my package was delayed for 2 months and they never updated the track system. So messed up. I will never use them again!

I sent a very negligent parcel from San Francisco to Washington. In the first class, this position has reached so far. Hes been here for 10 days and hasnt moved. I dont know how long that will last. I am very upset about this poor service.

Yep just like the others who experience bad on this establishment, only sending to HAYWARD CA, but until now it looks like its travelling around the world!!!! No longer can meet customers deadline due to this inefficiency.. Hopefully they will change.

Horrible. Usps has gone extremely down hill the past three years. This distribution center is a joke. So unorganized, slow, and unprofessional. I have a package bouncing from this distribution center to Stockton then down to San Mateo. Of course USPS fails to take accountability for lost/stolen and late packages. I have had issues in the past of package theft from this distribution center. Usps never acknowledged my claim. Either there is a black hole, package goblin, or the more realistic option a horrible dishonest employee.

Normally, anything I order out of California is here in 2-3 days. But my order from Australia came thru this center and then fell off the face of the earth. In transit to next destination for 4 solid days when it was supposed to be in New York on Monday. I suspect I will never see this package again. Apparently Im not the only one either. Theres nobody to complain to either. What a world.

My package that I was supposed to get on Saturday has been looping between here and a distribution center in Oakland, CA. If this happens to you, do a Missing Mail Search so when they scan it, itll get them moving to actually do their job and get your package to you.

My parcel shipped from Canada destined for the state of Illinois has been sitting here since May 5th without any further scans. All I want to know is if my parcel is making its way through the system or if it has been lost. I have signed up for USPS updates with no further information and have tried calling ISC but no one ever picks up the phone. This is the worst service ever and reading the other reviews I see that there are so many other people in the same situation. This is not fair for the senders and is super frustrating!!

I sent 2 packages to Brazil in November, they are in this distribution center since November 30th. Does anyone has any information about packages being lost/stolen/ or just sitting at the facility for this long?

Never had a problem with any american postal services until my package came to this centre. It hasnt moved since. Will be filing a police report if I dont receive it soon.

UPDATE:My package was successfully delivered to my counterpart in Russia. Please call customs when youre package is here! This specific place should not be on the Google to contact.My package has been there since March 27th. Thats over 2 months and working on 3. I do understand that because of the Covid-19 pandemic, international distribution has been cut severely. I still however, would like SOME WAY to contact anyone working here that can tell me if and when my package will even ship to Russia so I can at least decide what to do next. Someone please answer the phone.

We demand that the San Francisco & Richmond, CA centers be overhauled. Consumers are paying ridiculously high prices to ship and then pkgs. sit for weeks with no info for weeks. How about we do this to your paychecks?

Very bad. Sent a Priority Express International package from Portland OR. It didnt even take a day from there to the DISTRIBUTION CENTER in SanFran. But from the DISTRIBUTION CENTER in SanFran to the USPS SanFran airport, which is 15 minutes away by car, a full 2 1/2 days .. and there it sits ... only when will it continue? I paid over $ 72 for an express delivery time to overseas of 3-5 working days. Two and a half days lost through the DISTRIBUTION CENTER in SanFran and nothing happens. It may never go on or has disappeared.

This is a federal distribution for the nation every package is tracked.there isnt any reason why packages are lost this is a automated system, these people are stealing and the postmaster should be investigated.

This building houses Letter Carriers only. It is not a retail Post Office. There is no public access. Google should remove the inaccurate name. There are a few other buildings in San Francisco that are the same.

My local post office gave me this number to call to track my mail that was on vacation hold. No one answers the call, no voice mail, and the call ends after so any rings. Whats the point in giving out the number that do not answer? So lame.
