This is an awesome Office Depot/Office Max. The associates here always walk around the store and ask if you need help, and the cashiers are always friendly. I love coming here for school supplies!
Had a great customer experience at the Print department. I had to quickly create custom foamboard posters for an event and they had quick turnaround, answered all of my questions and delivered exceptionally friendly service. 👌
I got there 10 minutes before closing, but Kat made sure I found everything I needed and didnt make me feel rushed at all. She even went online and checked the pricing to make sure I got the best deal available. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed my trip here! 🙂
The customer service employee Cory at the printing area is a great asset for this store.I’ve just printed a few copies and he helped me a lot. Thanks!
I visit weekly for printing services. Staff veryhelpful. Cory always perfects my order!!
This newly designed Office Depot is a great store. Nowadays, free parking is hard to find so the fact that they have such a large, covered lot for free is a plus. The stores new layout is better and makes it easy to find supplies. The rows have inventory placed lower, making it more accessible. The service is good and the tech and printing services check all the boxes. If anything could get better, it would be the accurate pricing and placement of items on the shelves, but I understand that items get shuffled around during shopping seasons.
Worst customer service ever and poorly managed store. I researched my ink online and it clearly stated they had it in stock at the Geary St. location. Not only didnt they have it but, they had no ink whatsoever for my printer. Nasty woman at register told me to order it online. If I had wanted to order online, I wouldnt have wasted my time going to the store . I needed it then. No apologizes or help - just a smart mouthed answer.
Good selection of computer supplies at this store. Nice and clean. Staff is attentive and willing to help with all questions. Will shop here again.
Helpful staff and a decent selection of supplies. Parking garage upstairs makes this location very convenient. This store just needs more life!
Cant get ANYONE on the phone. Sorry - but your automated service isnt answering my question about your loser store. Thanks!
The staff is always super helpful and friendly. Customer service is what warrants a high rating here, especially for a larger chain. Employees work hard to provide a positive, professional experience. I appreciate a quick turnaround on my printing needs!
Ive ordered on Internet a drum to my printer. I gave to the representative all information, including credit card number, address and asked to deliver this item to the store on Geary Blvd. and Arguello in San Francisco. When I came to the store next day, I was told that they had no drum for me because they didnt do pick up in store any more due to a small space in the store. BTW, they did store remodeling for a long time.Besides, on Internet this option is available even today, 3 days later. A manager even did not talk to me. He did it through a clerk. They advised me to go to another store at the opposite side of town and just buy it. I explained them that I am 80 years old, have problems with my legs, and I am a small business owner and have obligations to my clients. But they could not care less. It took me two hours and two different buses to get there. This experience was so humiliating! Dont go there. And by the way, the store at Harrison street is beautiful - big, clean and everybody were happy to help me.
Helpful folks..I got a large (20 x 36) poster duplicated for my own personal use.. I was also able to create other useful items with their help. The prices were great/affordable!
This store recently finished a complete reorganization and this was my first visit since they finished. My impression was that it was more open, well-organized, and brighter, which made it easier to find things. I didnt buy anything this time so I cant comment on the checkout experience, but I am more likely to shop there now.
Ive been coming to Toms shop since he opened. It is a great business and it feels neighborly. Tom is friendly, welcoming, efficient, and has a goofy sense of humor which is displayed around his shop for all to enjoy. If I ever have business needs that require temp office space, Office Depot will be my first stop.
Five Stars for Free Parking. Great assortment of supplies and computers. Have used their Copy Service forever...very attentive staff.
Understaffed. Went to pick up ink cartridge that was ordered/paid online for in store picked up. Waited for 10 minutes before being acknowledged by the copy center staff who were all dealing with print jobs. Why cant they just put it at the cashier instead? They miss the whole point of quick convenient pick up. Thats why they are getting killed by Amazon, which is what I will do next time.
Minimal staff... no one to help. I went in needing A10 envelopes and printer paper and was treated shabby. I spent 45 minutes to make a purchase that should have been much quicker. Stores like this remind me why most people buy office supplies online.
If youre zooming down Geary Blvd and realize you need a Really Smart RFID PROTECTOR WALLET by Lewis & Clark Co. this Office Max is the place to get it! or any other Quality Office Product you might need in a pinch. Its also conveniently located kiddie corner from a Chevron Gas Station / Mini Market... So when you need Fuel and an Office Tool... swing by and say Hi to the Helpful Friendly Staff at Office Max & Office Max Printing on Geary.
I went in and the man at the cashier was utterly unhelpful and completely rude to me for no reason. After asking one question, he immediately spoke to me with an unnecessary bad attitude. Near the end of the transaction, I told him I didn’t want to pay for the shopping bag any more, but he still charged me for it. Totally impolite and useless encounter.
Jennifer was extremely courteous and went above and beyond to help print out a long banner and canvas. Other stores was not able to handle it. I explained the situation and she made my day by having both printed within 3-4 hours.
The only store of its kind in the area. Big, with a good supply of most everything. Have bought toner, ink, paper, storage, etc. They also have custom printing which is reasonably priced.
The sales person(Tim) was very helpful. I left with the printer that suited my needs.
Excellent print center. The formatting of the documents is great and the service is quick and friendly. (There is also free parking in the garage above the building, entrance on Arguello.)
Garrick and Dan at the computer repairs section are very welcoming and knowledgeable. Honestly the entire office max team at Arguello are so warm. Please keep up.
I love it. The decor is perfect. It was a nice experience overall.
Rarely look for something they dont have. Most staff are knowledgeable. Imoortant for me: free parking upstairs (RARE in this part of town), UPS/FedEx drop-off points, shredding machine.
Many thanks to Raquel for your assistance, service, friendliest and professionalism! You are terrific!
Name for a printer they didnt have any of the three printers I was interested in although they were on displayed.Very poorly stocked and not much customer service they need to hire more people
Very convenient place to shop, associates are very helpful and like that there is parking.
Constantly poor customer service. Always refuse to check if they have items in the back, never pleasant unexperienced cashiers.
Self- copying was heck slow if youre making multiple pages from a book due to the automated job cost system. Customer service was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable!
Its a good location & great selections.
Not the newest or cleaning place but if you need quick stationary you can always stop by to get what you need.
It is the only Big Box office supply in this part of town, remarkable access by car or by bus.
Unassuming source for various small printing and finishing services. Friendly staff and professional attention. Rotary paper trimmer has an awful squeek.
Large selection, decent pricing. Great sale events during back to school time.
One stop shopping for all your office supplies. They have indoor parking
Easy access parking lot 33 and 38 bus line.
Prices are pretty expensive compared to shopping on Amazon, but convenient if you need something quickly.
Great store with great staff and everything you need for your office..
Neighborhood office store and business center. Friendly staff, recently remodeled ample free parking.
Great layout one of the biggest Ive ever been to
Its pretty much a place you visit for office supplies but my only gripe is there really isnt enough of customer service going on .As a customer I stood around for 20 minutes lost before receiving help.
Kat was VERY VERY helpful and swift with all the many things I needed to do. You need woman a raise. A real raise!
They have pretty much everything and price match.
I think this is the most complete office supply store
Good place for office and home office supplies in the Richmond neighborhood
Dropped off a huge plastic ziplok bag of used ink cartridges for recycle a month ago. havent heard a single word since about my rewards account.been shopping there since 2010.
The computer that I was there to see was not plugged in. The table needed a tech to operate so the computer could be plugged in, and the tech had gone home for the day. The other computer I wanted to get a look at needed a password to sign in, and no one working there knew what it was. The whole trip there was a complete and colossal waste of my time. Wont be going back there again.
Office Max and Office Depot are in one place now! Best time to go is when what you want is on sale.
Easy parking, lot upstairs Wells ATM across street
Got what I was looking for. The sales associate was really helpful.
First hand experience, was difficult to figure out everything by myself. Got 2 passport pics done, expensive and bad quality
I called to see if they had a surface pro charger and they told me they did. So I went all the way to there and after talking to an employee, they tell me they don’t have it. Customer service is awful in this place.
Amazing! 👍 Great sales.
Soul-sucking, but effective. Brings harsh lighting to the realm of art.
I got very good and friendly service. This is now an office Depot.
Got a good deal in a Dell laptop and so picked it. Got a decent variety of stuff, if not great.
I tried to buy a laptop and they didnt have any of the three that I wanted to purchase the help was rude and the shopping experience in general was quite disappointing better luck next time
Never crowded, has what they all have, has parking, in and out
My place to go for large prints. Very helpful staff!
Went there to buy a USB cable, price was $15. So with this pricing no wonder the shelves are empty and that the store is clearly going out of business any day now.
Big and nice. Staff are friendly.
Tripple the price of amazon for basic office needs
Great customer service!
Nice place, friendly people.
Huge store with a parking lot. This is a definite choice if you need office supplies in SF.
Huge 2nd floor parking. I can usually find what I need here, though finding staff to help can be difficult.
No parking and the employee fight each other kind of crazy
Its smaller then before they changed names
Besides office supplies they have other items, got school supplies and earphones when I went last month.
Do not go there.
Weird. Soon to be out of businesd
Its like the military industrial complex, but for office supplies
Thank You for all you Do!!!
Great and convenient.
Office Max becoming a brand new Office Depot store
The rebuild is incomplete but looks promising.
Employee visibly annoyed that I showed up to get something printed and bound. What looked like a 25 year old computer couldnt read my thumb drive. What?
Big selectionVery clean
It has the stuff you need fit the office, but it seems a bit expensive.
Work place
Not much selection.
Plenty of free parking
Self service blueprint copy!!!
Parking parking parking!
Good
Ghost town
It is a store with products from the best brands at different prices
The bleakly-operated physical store is deserted and has fewer customers than shop assistants, so the service to us is naturally good. The price and convenience of online shopping are really devastating, but the operating costs in San Francisco are steadily increasing! For example, in Chinatown, more and more shops are closed, and the merchants work hard every day, and the meager profits made are basically used to pay the shop rent. What tourists come to see are the Chinese-style superstructures and modern chrysing irons with historical load. Its closed. Understand that these landlords are really iron cock,-the hair is not plucked! Yes, at this point, just learn this-Chinese allusion is enough!
Free parking is available on the second floor. The assortment of stationery is normal.
Many times when there are balances the supply is exhausted.
Ay always what Im looking for
No parking !!
