My experience at Tailor Maid was all that I imagined and more. I was impressed by the attention to detail, the service, and my dress!! They made me feel special and delivered excellent results.

I got my wedding dress altered here. They were so busy that they ended up just lifting up the straps or my dress instead of actually altering the bodice of the A frame for it to fit to my body. It looked terrible on my wedding day but I had no choice and somehow paid $550 for shortened straps and the hem. Seems like I could have gone to any dry cleaner for that level of quality and spent a lot less money. The tailor is very talented but was very busy- recommend this place if it’s not peak wedding dress alteration time.

Great small female owned business. Cute little shop close to downtown. A little pricey but not crazy since it is SF after all. They have connections with Lovely Bride who helped squeeze me into their schedule for alterations of my Tara Lauren dress with a short timeline.

Marissa and her team were fantastic to work with as both my wife and I needed our dresses altered in less than 4 weeks before our last-minute elopement.Marissa was really flexible with scheduling us back-to-back and also ensured that we didnt see each others dresses during the alteration process. Her and her team went above and beyond in finding options for undergarments that worked with both of our dresses, even running out to the store to pick up more materials to make sure it would work. We highly recommend Tailor Maid!

I had an amazing experience working with the Tailor Maid team for my wedding dress alterations. I had a fairly quick turnaround (about 35 days) and their team made it easy to get in and out and get my dress before the wedding. I was in a bit of a pinch due to my original tailor (NOT from Tailor Maid) butchering my wedding dress. I had ended up buying a new wedding dress with less than a month before my wedding and needed a few alterations done, but many tailors were unwilling to accommodate on such short notice. The staff at Tailor Maid SF were willing to fit me in and help me during such a stressful time and made sure that the alterations were done to my liking. They went out of their way to make sure I was happy with my new dress, given my prior experience with my first dress at a different tailoring store. I am so thankful for your help - the dress looked beautiful!!

Marissa and her team are detail oriented and friendly. She really takes the time to listen to your concerns regarding your dress, make suggestions, and explain what shes doing. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for alterations on a formal gown.

Not all heroes wear capes. Marissa was absolutely fabulous to work with for my wedding dress alterations! This stuff is not cheap but Im truly glad I made the investment with the Tailor Maid team. I bought a sample dress a couple sizes too big, so it needed a substantial amount of altering. It took quite a few appointments, but Marissa was happy to accommodate and make sure I walked away feeling stunning in my dress. Very highly recommended!

I had them sew a couple garments together which was a project I had in mind and when I saw the final results I was soo pleased! I will definitely be going to them with our future sewing/alteration ideas!

Cannot thank Tailor Maid enough! I had 2 weeks to spare for alterations before my wedding and they made it happen! After my consultation they walked me through timing, pricing and how difficult the alterations were going to be. Even with my lace dress I felt at ease right away. My dress turned out flawless and I couldn’t have been happier. Such a nice group of people too, including the dog lollipop. Thanks again!

Marissa + team did a wonderful job on my wedding dress! It fit perfectly :) Marissa gave me great tips on traveling with my dress, was on time and efficient at every meeting, and made sure I walked away 100% happy with my fit!

Marissa has done excellent work for me twice now - once as a bridesmaid and once as a bride. My bridal gown was very tricky to work with - a silk charmeuse sample gown that had to be taken down several sizes. But I looked and felt great on my wedding day.
