I called this morning not knowing what to expect for a scratch on my car and he called me back right away. I called a bunch of places and he was the only one who called me back. He knew so much about scratches so it was clear he knows his stuff. Paul was honest, down to earth, easy to talk to and even gave me tips on how to get rid of the scratch (I sent him pictures), knowing he might not make money off me. Had a very nice conversation with him. I have a high bar and seemed to meet it right away. He’s coming to fix my scratch so my car can be back to normal. I’d say Paul is the guy to have to fix your car. Will post another review after my car is fixed so you know how the scratch goes.

I saw Pauls van on the road Saturday and called on a whim - he was here the next day. He detailed our car, motorcycle and scoter and not to kill the surprise but they all look fantastic. I did the Gold Package on the car and also had him repair a scrape on the front bumper, which now looks like it never happened. He got all the dog hair out of the back seat, did a nice job cleaning all the interiors in the car. The exterior shines like the day we brought it home (maybe even better since we bought the car used). He is super friendly, sent lots of photos during the 4 hours he was here, had a few recommendations and checked with me on cost before proceeding. Will definitely be calling Paul again!

Paul was very responsive to my last-minute request for a car wash and detail job. I needed to get it ready to sell and he had great attention to detail. He also used touch up paint to improve areas where we had a dent and paint taken off.

I contacted Paul in the evening, he was very responsive. He was able to fit me in at his shop the next morning to take a look at some scratches on my hood. Paul demonstrated his process for free on a smaller area before quoting out the job at a fair price.All in, he did a great job. Looks brand new, he even documented the process and sent me the photos & videos so I could understand everything he did. A+ service, will definitely return for future detailing.

Several years ago met Paul of Pauls Mobile Detailing at Kragen Auto Parts on Ocean Ave. He ended up detailing my new-to-me old car that had endured the sunshine, weather abuse, and beating that is Petaluma & daily salty-sea-breeze damage of SF, Fort Funston, and Ocean Beach w/my puppy.Paul was very clear about the work he was going to do on my car, based on the specific needs/condition of my car, and didnt just sell me on some bs that would just make him extra money.He worked for HOURS. Every time I had gone for service at Honda Serramonte after that, they told me that for such an older car, the paint was holding up great. And I park outside on the street in SF, and other than having Pauls Detailing work on the car, Ive literally done nothing else to it.Very notable: He was very nice about my declining extra services and did not pressure me or make me feel bad for not wanting to get anything extra. That was extremely important to me: for a single woman to feel valued as a customer but not feel bullied by the service person when just trying to get some work done. No means no with this guy which is super nice because while its understandable that his livelihood may depend on how much of himself he can sell to people, he doesnt make you feel like a jerk for saying no. And his work was still EXCELLENT even though I didnt spend the extra money.Fast-forward about 10 years and guess who I just ran into? Paul!After all this time of getting my car beat up in the Westlake Chevron gas station car wash (sometimes Shell) and random hand washes here and there (literally like 4 because I never have time), the car has started to show that it needed some help with maintaining the paint again. Water marks from the Chevron/Shell car wash (maybe the rainbow soap stuff??) werent going away, plus the ash from the wild fires, and just regular road dirt I guess. So a whole decade of Ocean Beach, Fort Funston, my dog, sand/salt, Bay Area driving/commuting, wildfire season ash/crust on the car, street parking in SF, and only NOW does it seem like my car needs some help. That says a lot about the work that he did last time.So, late nights of getting off work and finding no parking at home, or usually some clown blocking the driveway, I would use my car as a Tetris piece and finagle it into the driveway up the sidewalk and hook a turn quickly before Id hit the retaining wall, the car blocking the driveway, or the other car in the driveway. Well I managed to scrape the whole corner of my front bumper on the white retaining wall one night resulting in a pretty big white skidmark across whole the corner of the bumper. :(I tried to scrub it while hand washing, I tried a toothbrush, scrubbing bubbles brush for the tub, Dawn, laundry soap, Goo Gone, and nothing worked to get the paint off. Paul got all of it off!!! All that white paint skid mark is gone from my dark green bumper!! Not a trace left. Ive been walking by it for yeeeeears feeling so, so stupid about it, thinking of the cost of getting the whole bumper repainted and just like that its gone now.I would recommend Paul of Pauls Mobile Detailing for anyone who values their property enough to take care of it; values their money; values honest business-people; values good value and good prices. I thought it was a little expensive at first, but for the sheer value that I received from the work that he did for me, I feel like I could have paid more. And I DEFINITELY should have tipped back then. (I didnt know it was a thing, sorry. :/ )Based on my experience with this company, I would say that Paul obviously knows how to take care of your car and the cars paint so that the value of the vehicle remains and/or is higher than what is expected (especially for older cars like mine.)I truly appreciate the work he has done for me and my old car, and I hope that from my two positive experiences over the last decade with this guy, that you will contact him and also appreciate him and his work, his honesty, and integrity as much as I do. I had some nasty swirl marks and oxidation damage on my black Porsche Macan and Paul was able to make the entire exterior of my car (paint, trim, etc.) look like it just rolled-off the showroom floor. He was able to fit me in the next day and came right to my house, which was huge. Paul’s expertise and passion for his work is unparalleled and he and his team are an absolute pleasure to work with. Too many missed details for being a detailer for 30 years. Paul did work hard but the results were definitely below expectations. I brought the car to another detailer and they did a much better job for $200 less. Paul completely forgot the center counsel, left dog hair on the seats(even though he charged extra for this), didnt repair the rust spots (extra charge) and left behind/waxed in soap residue on many different parts of my truck.Disappointing to say the least. I asked Paul to come fix or for a partial refund, he never showed up. I wouldnt pay him until you fully inspect the car. Paul is a big talker, he doesnt back it up with actions. Dont waste your time with him.

This company ripped off my senior father, leading him to believe over the phone that he was paying for a $65 detail job, and then showing up demanding $250 for cleaning the inside of car (excluding the trunk). I left a one star review of this company due to this bait and switch business practice. Paul proceeded to return to my house, unannounced, to harass me for posing a negative review, and to intimidate me with the assurance that I would be seeing him again. Paul then proceeded to text my father at night to inform him that his son (me) is a moron and a creep. This is a criminal enterprise and you should avoid it at all costs.

I effectively bought myself a new car this morning without ever leaving my houseWhat actually happened is that I have the same ten year old Honda Civic I had yesterday with ten years of driving kids and their milk and crackers on the interior and melted wax from those little red cheeses on the exterior, but Kevin and Santiago came same-day on a Sunday and did an amazing job; Im thrilled and it sparkles.Thanks guys!

I have a high end black Mercedes S63 AMG. Paul was referred to me as being one of the best at his craft also he is the owner of Pauls mobile detailing. I was really impressed with his ethics and sense of pride.I wanted him to come to my home to detail my car. So, he traveled 60 miles each way and arrived exactly on time (Impressive) ready to work. However, I didnt really explain the work precisely to him over the phone and actually my car needed more time for detailing than I thought. Paul told me that he is was not going to be able to detail my car because it is not going to be a perfect job since I had time constraints. I tried to convince him to do it regardless. He told me that he takes great pride in his work and ifIts not perfect he will not do it. I thought that he was going to be really mad because he traveled so far and had to go back home without making any money. He said that he rather take the lost then do a lousy job. He offered to reschedule the appointment with me and come again next time to detail my car when I have more time. I highly recommend this guy because he loves what he does and any time you love what you do you are going to want do it right or you dont do it at all.Thank you Paul for being a person with great ethical values and I cant wait to finally have my car detailed with such a perfectionist.

Paul, Bruno, and Angel did a great job detailing the interior of our company truck. We are a construction company so, as you can imagine, the cab was very dirty and in need of a deep clean. I had a mold problem in the carpet of my car, which was causing me to cough while driving around. Since this was a first, I wasnt sure how to find the solution and was worried that I was putting my health at risk by driving any further without solving the problem immediately. I am glad that I was able to connect with Paul because he is super knowledgeable about mold treatments. He stopped by, did a diagnosis of the interior and explained what he was looking for and showed me that the mold was a mild case and what cleaner he would use to remove the mold. He showed me a rundown of costs and that he would focus the entire session on treating the mold. I am glad that this situation is under control and feel confident about my health. Thank you Paul!!

Friendly, efficient, detailed and so committed to the process.Paul squeezed me in when he had a cancellation. He got the dog hair, sand, mud and weird stain out of my new-to-me car. Smells sooooo clean.Detailing is expensive, but since he comes to you, he brings all the equipment, and he works super hard, his prices are competitive.

Amazing. Just amazing. Pure awesome. Paul and his assistant come to you and they put the detail back in to auto-detailing. My whip hasnt looked this good since the day I bought it. I would recommend his service to anyone. Its priced on the higher end but MAN do you get you get your moneys worth!!Paul even sucked the leaves and clutter out from under my cars bonnet. Those leaves could have caught fire and killed me. Basically Paul saved my life.

Originally went in to get an interior detail done (quoted about $200). They wouldnt do the interior detail because of mold/mildew in my car. They proposed a $400 mildew/mold treatment—putting enzymes on the car. There was still mold afterwards unfortunately because it was underneath the carpet, and they said it was a more major issue than usual. They asked for additional money to cut the carpet but I had to tear out the carpet due to my budget realities. They really tried to work with me on the budget which was kind. Direct and nice guys.

This guy is a master of his trade. Best a customer can ask for, next level Quality and in my opinion very fair price. Im not even from SF but I will come back here to give him work.

This guy doesn’t really understand the concept of asking a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ question. I asked how much it would be for a was, clay bar, and wax on a small SUV, instead I got several indirect answers and no actual number. I was trying to do research on detailers in the area and the fact that he wasn’t willing to provide even a basic estimate should’ve been my first red flag, but I mistakenly assumed positive intent from someone just out to make a quick buck and run a shady business. His communications are unclear, unprofessional, and rude. Google allows business owners to unfortunately censor some reviews so we’ll see how long this stays up, but I honestly should’ve just sought out another company or just cleaned my vehicle myself because I wasted a day trying to schedule something and consistently pushing his “receptionist” for answers. Here’s a tip Paul, if you’re going to run a business clear out your voicemail boxes once in a while. Oh, you’d like to make a snide comment about how “busy” you are and that’s why your voicemail is full? No, it’s sloppy and it just shows you don’t have a halfway decent attention to detail. If your receptionist says she’ll call back in 5 minutes, don’t make me wait a half an hour for an update. When I said I was done after getting several concepts of cleaning a vehicle explained to me in a very unclear fashion I simply said I wasn’t interested, and in all honesty if it were possible for me to bill him I would for wasting my day when I could’ve done this myself. Paul then told me that I had no idea how to clean a car and was very rude. I’ll be reporting this on to the BBB and along with the other review about him pull a bait and switch operation, I’m sure this will have some traction so dishonest business owners are put out of business. If someone asks what they want done can actually be done for $175 I suggest you re-read what they’re asking instead of pulling a number out of the sky and then repeatedly accusing someone of only wanting to ‘pay $110’. Maybe instead of texting someone like a juvenile you can be an adult and call the other person and explain your shoddy services, or you could just pack up and go home which would be better because you’re sloppy, dishonest, deceptive, and disorganized. Nobody needs that.

I am so pleased with the superior service Paul- from Pauls Detailing did on my car! Actually I called on Pauls Detailing to help me a few months back with my mold issue at my house. I was quoted $5500 by my insurance company as well as $5000 by 2 other companies to clear up the mold in my bedroom. When he came to assess the damages he said the normal ballpark figure for a job like that would be about $4500-$5000 which was exactly correct- but after doing his inspection, he said he would do it for $2000. I was a little worried about the quality of work he might do for that price but he did everything very meticulously and professionally and explained everything to me carefully during the whole process. Long story short- the mold is dead and gone and hasnt come back AT ALL EVERSINCE!So naturally after doing such an amazing job once before, I immediately called Paul when mold showed up in my car because of the window being stuck down during the recent rains! Again he saved the day and saved me a fortune! He charged me $1200 for a job that was very tedious and time consuming which required cutting, treating, and replacing and was originally quoted $4800 by my insurance compnany! I cant thank him enough! It looks and smells brand new and he did it so quickly! Not even a trace of mold now! He works on an extremely professional level! I HIGHLY recommend Pauls Detailing for any and all mold issues you might have for either house or automobile! And dont let the affordable prices fool you! He does top quality work!! I am sooo happy!

FOLLOW UP: the new owner contacted us and refunded us partially. So that makes me feel the new ownership is planning for this business to be better.Let me start by saying Paul had told us repeatedly write me a good review and I will give you a great deal and oh ill add this on for that review. Well... I wish I could give it that 5 star review but I just cant..So we had a appointment for 130pm, 130 came and went and we were told in 30 mins they would be here then it became an hour and eventually it became 5pm at night that they came. Im not going lie or hide the fact our car was in need of a good cleaning - we have been on the road with our dogs, in the process of moving. We informed Paul it has to be VERY CLEAN since we were shipping it. He quoted us one price prior to coming then it went up a 100$ and then my husband got a call to come check the car and it went up another 30$ .. (Totalling in $480). We were in a bind and needed the car to be done because we were shipping the car and at this point everywhere else was closed.My husband pointed out areas that needed to be redone at that initial check on point. Well those quick items got touched but not done 100%. Like other reviewers said about the claybar upsale/ infomercial feel that happened to us too! I cannot tell you how he told us how great the clay bar would be for our car etc.By 830/845 at NIGHT our car was finally finished. My husband looked over the car with the poor lighting it looked okay. In a better light you could see the claybar wasnt fully cleaned off, my windshield was clouded, and there was still dirt/ hair in the car in spots. So at 930 pm my husband I found ourselves vacuuming out the car to make sure it was ready to be shipped for our move.Now you are probably wondering why I gave any stars right? Well the shampooing was good- it made the car smell fresh and clean. The mats were cleaned perfectly and the top of the roof the scratches came out.Would I use Pauls detailing again..? To be honest probably not. It was over priced for what the job was done, he was late to the initial appointment, and then when it was dark and late we had no other choice than to pay him and move on with the evening. If you are looking for a simple clean job then sure he might be worth it. But for something like what we needed... Its not worth it!
