I have been going to Eds Autohaus for a little over 2 years. I have had an array of services from simple break job to replacement of engine mounts. I have a luxury German SVU that I love and wanted a garage that I trusted. I have only had great service in each of the times I have gone there. Ed himself has also been great to work with. I feel lucky to have them here in SF.

The fellas that work here are very kind and honest. Go above and beyond. There work is fast, the communicate well and let you know everything that needs to be fixed and future fixes. I continue to go back to them again and again - cannot recommend them enough!

Ed and Emerson are not family, but it feels like it. They are honest (with the good and the bad), dependable (never said no even when they are super busy) and reasonable (even when it is a major repair, they regularly beat the internet estimate). One time I could not get my car to start and Ed stopped by where I was parked and was able to help. I am just very grateful to know that they have my back. Just like a good and honest doctor, everyone needs an honest and good mechanic.

Unbelievable experience, we were stuck in San Francisco with a window that was broken in the down position. They were just wonderful to us, very kind, got us fixed up and back down the highway to our home.

Jay is incredibly knowledgeable and hires only well-trained employees. I took my cars to Jay for more than 10 years and took everything to him. I was sad to move away and no longer bring my car to Planet Saaab/Autowerks. But, Jay still picks up the phone and answers my questions when I think something is wrong with my car. He was able to diagnose an issue with my brakes from San Francisco to Colorado which made me feel much better when I brought my car to a new shop knowing what was most likely wrong with my car!

Honest, quick and courteous! Everything important was explained to me with respect and patience. I wont go anywhere else in SF!
