Ive been insured through Traci for a very long time. Her agency provides our home, auto, and liability insurance. Recently, we acquired e-bikes and wanted to insure them as State Farm has excellent bike insurance (but it requires special underwriting). The head offices underwriter denied our request as they had misinterpreted what we had purchased (State Farm will not insure class 3 bikes, we purchased class 1 bikes). Vincent Martini (an associate at the office) really went the extra mile to clear up the underwriters confusion and get the policy issued. We really appreciated his efforts, intelligence and excellent attitude.

In my opinion State Farm has great commercials. State Farm has competitive rates. We had renters, car, and motorcycle insurance through State Farm. While they claim to be a Good Neighbor they are anything but. We found out when one of our vehicles was totaled. State Farm did not offer us a fair market value that would cover the cost of a comparable vehicle Section 2695.8. Additional Standards Applicable to Automobile Insurance. (2) A comparable automobile is one of like kind and quality, made by the same manufacturer, of the same or newer model year, of the same model type, of a similar body type, with options and mileage similar to the insured vehicle. I would caution you, to think twice about who you choose. Because when you need it, you need them in your court. State Farm is not a good neighbor.

Id give them zero stars if I could. Moved to the city so I moved my policy. Sat down with Beau who was super nice and reviewed my policy, made a couple adjustments and he said it looked great. Less than a month later, I got a letter in the mail saying that they would be increasing my 6 month premium from $700 to $1600. I called Beau to ask what was up. But he never responded to me, and instead passed me off to Vicky who said that the reason for the price hike was that they had discovered an old speeding ticket from 2017 and had adjusted my policy accordingly. I asked if there was anything they could do to help with the price since the ticket would hit the 3 year mark in a few months and wouldnt be an issue any more (and my record has been clean since) and Vicky was completely unhelpful, said no, and told me that I should look for insurance elsewhere.
