I had an outstanding experience with VAS when I recently brought in my Audi Q5. Ive gone to the Audi dealership service center since I bought the car used and never had an experience as positive as the one with VAS.I had a CV Joint Boot replaced and I had my coolant flushed and coolant tank replaced.The work was done on time and my experience working with Kenny was great. He kept the old parts from my car so that he could show me what was wrong with them when I picked up my car.Also, there was a similar car to mine in the shop so I asked what was wrong with that car. He went out of his way to walk me over to that car explain/show me everything they were working on with that car.He even gave me advice about known issues on my own car model to be aware of.Ill be back to VAS for all of my repair needs.

Went for 55k service and to diagnose check engine light. Turns out diagnostic cost is different and fix cost is different even though diagnostic took 15 mins. Other good authentic Audi service centers around bay area considers total diagnostic and fix time as same or even consider no diagnostic charge if you are doing 55k $600 service or such. Complete milking service center.

Honest mechanics that are patient and go way beyond the scope of work expected. Kenny is amazing. Ive worked with him twice. Once in 5/18 when I had a major coolant leak that I feared would be costly. He was really efficient and excellent at communicating with me. Turned out to be only a faulty radiator cap for $25. Im sure there are plenty of mechanics out there that would have gauged me for more service, but not Kenny.My most recent experience speaks to his integrity and clear knowledge of Audis. This time my Audi broke down and I had to have it towed to my home in the east bay so I brought it to a local mechanic for convenience. The local mechanic claimed 3 items needed to be replaced; 2 water pumps and a new thermostat. The estimate provided at that mechanic was $2200. I called Kenny to discuss and he never spoke ill of the other mechanic but explained in his many years working on Audis that about 80% of the time it is just the thermostat. The local mechanic apparently just assumed the pumps were bad. Kenny ended up saving me $1700 AND did this by advising me on what to tell the local mechanic, he never ended up making any $ off of this service only making a customer for life!

Kenny is amazing. Hard to find a trustworthy auto mechanic and Kenny is just that. His prices are very reasonable and much cheaper than Royal Motors for same exact repairs on my Audi A4. I know because I got quotes from both about a year ago and elected to have Kenny do the work. My most recent experience was excellent. I had a coolant leak and called him up just before closing time. He told me to bring it in the next morning. He checked it out and gave me the good news that it wasn’t the radiator, just a shredded O-ring near the coolant temperature sensor. He had the car repaired by early afternoon that same day. What a relief! I will continues using Kenny for car repairs and service and I fully recommend him to others.

I have a 1981 VW rabbit pickup diesel...Most mechanics wont touch it. Kenny is the man, he takes the time to explain and show you the problems and his solutions. A lot of times the problems require creativity on these older cars and Kenny always if up for the challenge. He is very knowledgeable and familiar with older Volkswagens. Came in to fix my Audi’s A/C because it wasn’t blowing cold and Kenny was quick to diagnose the problem and had it fix very quick. Price was reasonable and he even helped me install my new fog lights for free! I find the father & son team extremely friendly, competent, service oriented and honest even if it isnt in their best interest. Their knowledge of my car helped me to decide when to sell my car. I often pop in for an oil fill up because of my turbo engine and they even fixed my sideview mirror that I cracked at no charge! Who does that? I highly recommend them if you have an Audi or the other brands they fix. They will take care of you and your car.

Have a 1987 vanagon and its hard to find someone to trust to take care of it, but luckily I have found VAS Motor Works. Ken makes sure to always check the van as a courtesy, even when I just come in for oil changes and has also gone out of his way to help me with things like my sink pump or headlights to more serious mechanical issues.If you have a Westy in the city - this is your shop.

I’m glad I found Kenny a few years ago. He and his son are great. My main beam went out on my mercedes and even though he was booked solid for weeks Kenny managed to find time for me. Brought my car in shortly after I phoned and it was all sorted out within 30 minutes. That quick turnaround enabled me to drive the car at night and then book the car in for a service (it’s due) at a later time when Kenny has greater availability. Can’t recommend them enough.

Kenny came highly recommended, so I decided to give it a try and took my B63S in for a few things i,e, Oil Change, Differential fluid, Brake fluid flush, Coolant Flush & inspection. I normal wouldnt let just any shop work on my B63S but Kenny was amazing & did a great job & really took good care of my baby. He also top off the oil on my C350 at no charge. Thats what I call service. All in All, Great Service, Friendly people and knows what he is doing and he aint going to rob you. If you dont believe me, try it for yourself.I also took in my 2009 C350 for a 180k service, brought it there in the morning and got it back by lunch. Also, I had someone backed into the front grill and Kenny did a great job replacing it through insurance. I cant say it enough: fast, friendly & reasonable prices & great service all the time. It makes me just want to get another MBZ, so Kenny can service it.

Kenny is a great, truthful, fair shop owner. I brought in our families VW as the starting idle was rough and some vehicle check lights where presenting, Kenny ran a diagnostic and reset some faulty sensors. He informed me that other then a vehicle reset, which was needed after I replaced the battery, that the car was good to go. No additional charge outside of the initial diagnostic.

Finding a knowledgeable, trustworthy, and affordable car repair shop for European imports is not easy. VAS does it well and is an excellent alternative to the overpriced dealerships. Happy to have Kenny as my service advisor and repair specialist.

He is fair and honest with his pricing and will tell you when you absolutely need something changed or if it just needs a keeping of an eye on, a must for people who dont know anything about whats under the hood. After getting a ridiculously high quote for 60K service for my friends Q7, a buddy of mine recommend I stop by this place and talk to Kenny. The shop can be easily missed but its the second driveway on the right.Shop is run by Kenny and his son and they do all the work. Dont expect any high pressure sales from him either; hes honest, upfront and very knowledgeable not only with Audis but really German cars. He takes the time to listen to your problems and never hesitates to give you some tips about your car. He uses only certified parts and lubricants and doesnt rush through his service. I was so happy with the service he did on my friends Q7 that I had him do a 40K service on my GL63. He charged me hundreds less than the dealer (but you do miss out on the dealers free donuts and free car wash LOL) and took care of a couple of minor stuff I wasnt aware of at no cost! Not only that, but he also brought to my attention that my headlight alignment were off; something the MB dealer never informed me after multiple safety inspection and scheduled services there. Thats what you call service!One downside is that the father and son are BUSY! So make sure to call and schedule an appointment!

I brought in my 2015 Audi A3 2.0 Quattro to VAS Motor Works for its 35,000 mile service. Kenny, the shop owner was super professional and responsive when I call him for a quote which was at more than $400 less than if I had taken the car to the Audi Dealership (Royal Motors) for the service.I had peace of mind that my A3 was in good hands as Kenny is a certified Audi Technician and worked for Royal Motors for over 13+ years.Kenny and his son performed the work flawlessly and identified that I had a coolant leak that the Audi Dealership never noticed previously when I brought my car in for service. Kenny informed me that I should take the car back to the Audi Dealership to have the issue resolved as my vehicle is still under warranty. He he even told me which service rep I should speak to as he still keeps in touch with his former colleagues at Royal Motors.Overall, I was very satisfied as a customer and highly recommend VAS Motor Works to anyone needing service or repair for their Audi or VW. You will be impressed with the personal service that the mom and pop shop offers and to the attention to detail.

I had my Audi RS4 and BMW M3 serviced by Vas Motor Works and was very delighted with all the repairs on both of the vehicles.
