The fire alarm goes off randomly ALL THE TIME and the elevators rarely work properly. If you’re physically able and enjoy a challenge you’ll enjoy the 17 fights of stairs you’ll have to navigate if you don’t want to wait upwards of 15 minutes for an elevator. This is because they are operating their elevators without a proper permit. Ive attached a picture of their inspection letter for May 2019 which indicates that the city hasn’t inspected the elevator. If you enjoy being patronized after signing a lease, you’ll enjoy Tower 737.
I contacted this company today first thing in the morning to request a quote for a studio that was listed online for $1368. Renita said she would email me the quote right away, but never did. After multiple phone calls informing Renita, Matthew, and another employee I never received the quote, I was told to try through the website. When I went to the website, the price of the studio had been raised to over $1800. When I alerted Matthew to this, he informed me that, unfortunately, the only way I could have gotten the $1368 price was if I had been quoted it. Had they sent the quote when I first requested it, it would have been at the $1368 price. However, they never sent the quote so due to their ineptitude, Im out of luck. I am incredibly disappointed by the incompetency and greed demonstrated by these employees and this company.
I havent lived at Tower 737 for awhile, but I have to say I had the best experience with them. I would recommend these apartments to anyone who wants to live downtown!
For anyone looking for a place to stay in SF, I DO NOT recommend staying in Tower 737. This quality of this apartment complex has progressively taken a turn for the worse over the past 3-4 months.1) The north tower has been operating on a single elevator for about 4 months now. There is a prior review of these apartments highlighting that they are operating the elevators without a permit. Sure enough, these expired permits have been taken down from the single functioning elevator so they are no longer visible to the public. The management does not even bother to put up a message saying the elevator is out of service. It is almost as if they have given up. We pay over 3 grand in rent per month and it is ridiculous that management has not gotten around to fixing the elevator. The residents in this unit no longer observe social distancing in the elevator due to the absurd wait times that are especially bad in mid afternoon and late evening.2) It appears that the management of this building is cutting corners. There is no longer a night time security guard on watch in the towers. For as long as I have been here there has always been a night time security. As of 2 weeks ago, this is no longer the case3) the restrooms in the downstairs lobby has now been out of service for ~3weeks, the buttons in the single working elevator do not light up, and there are various light bulbs out throughout the complex. There is no evidence that this is being worked on, given how they have not fixed the elevator in nearly half a year, it is doubtful these items will be fixed soon.4) Maintenance is these apartments has become incredibly slow for individual units. I have needed to put in several request before I hear back from anyone regarding maintenance items in my apartment.5) Parking cost are going up...no more night time security as mentioned above.... but where is this money going? it is certainly not being used maintain the quality of service at this place6) We are going to be without hot water for 2 days next week due to some building maintenance issues. Hot water had never been a problem before.I do not recommend living here and I am happy to say I am moving out.
Have been living here for a year now and the staff is incredibly nice. Sam Friedman always stops and pets my dog when I come through with her, and has been very helpful with any questions that I have had.
My partner and I moved into a studio apartment in Tower 737 in August and let me just say that these are one of the nicest places that I’ve lived in so far. The amenities are amazing but our favorite part is how nice management is. Justy Renson has been a HUGE help in welcoming us and showing us around and the other management people are so nice. Definitely 5/5 and already considering renewing our lease next year!
I have been so happy. They have food trucks and a lot of other communal amenities (social distanced) which are so creative and unique. I appreciate the time they take with any questions or concerns we have. It’s also in the heart of the city and a few blocks from union square so there’s always something to see or do. We also have a Trader Joe’s about a 7 minutes walk from the apartments.A place should be welcoming and that’s exactly what 737 is.
When I first moved in, everything seemed fine until the elevators broke about a week later. After that, they continued breaking over and over and over again. One time I went to do laundry (its in the basement) but on the way back I was waiting for the longest time until I realized it wasnt coming because it had just broken. I had to carry my baskets of clothes up flights of stairs, not very fun. Now fast forward a couple months and one of the two elevators in the main tower has been broken for WEEKS so you can expect a line in the middle of the day to use the only one thats still working. As of two days ago, both elevators are now broken so we have to go up the stairs with grocery bags, laundry, you name it. Suddenly last night, the elevator that had been broken for weeks was fixed....but it didnt even last 24hrs. As of this morning it is broken again. They have these events that I would much rather they cancelled and used the money and energy to focus on fixing the elevators. I have surgery tomorrow, how am I supposed to go up tons of stairs afterward to get to my apartment? We pay a lot for rent so this is ridiculous and unacceptable. Plus, the laundry room has maybe 5 washers and one of them always breaks and another one always leaves the clothes soaking wet. When you pull the lid where you place the detergent you see black mold and dirt, its like they never clean the machines. Also last year, they did a fire alarm inspection and the alarm went off for hours in the middle of the morning. A lot of us were working from home so you can only imagine how lovely that was (The alarm is a beautiful sound, loud enough to give you a migraine if you hear it for a long time). They received a lot of complaints and decided that next year they would do something that wouldnt disrupt us as much, hopefully they follow through with this promise.I must say, Im looking forward to not renewing my lease and getting out of here especially now that they are going to be in charge of the parking garage, fired everyone that had been working there for years, and decided to increase the price on it.
I have been living here for 3 years now and I havent had any issues regarding the property. The staff members and leasing consultants are always very welcoming and overall bring good energy to this living space.I will never get tired of the views this building has and you definitely get your moneys worth!
I lived in this complex for around 5 months before deciding to move back home when COVID hit. In attempting to break my lease, I was not provided proper guidance by the community manager, Brian Burnett (who has since been released from the company), with extremely confusing guidelines and fee requirements in carrying out the lease break. I was unaware an additional fee was required and did not pay on time as there was zero notifications or emails sent letting me know that there was an outstanding balance on my account. The company claimed they only send physical mail correspondence but no letter was received informing me of the additional fee. After 1 month they immediately sent it to a collection agency and it is going to affect my credit. The outstanding fee being requested of me is also incorrect. The fee of breaking our lease early has ended up costing me more than if I had simply carried out the already overpriced lease. The management of this company is pathetic and completely unwilling to accommodate or make proper steps to right a wrong on their behalf. Every staff member of the management company has been a nightmare to deal with which made my entire experience living here a nightmare. Do not live here. These people dont see you as people but as means to make even more money than theyre owed. Complaint filed with Better Business Bureau.UPDATE as of 1/9/21: new management has reached out YET AGAIN regarding bills paid 4 months ago asking for the same exact amount that was previously paid. The management of this organization is unbelievably disorganized. AVOID DEALING WITH MANAGEMENT AT ALL COST
The staff has made my move in very seamless and welcoming. Always professional and willing to help in anyway possible. Thanks!
I was a resident at this apartment complex from 2018 - 2020, and I am happy to say that this was way better than I expected (moved from another state so my expectations were super low). Though it is slightly pricier than Id like, it seems to be pretty consistent with other apartment complexes around this area. This location is close to many restaurants and other shopping destinations which makes it super convenient for day-to-day necessities and exploration. Additionally, it was a 15-20 minute walk to the Financial District which made it very simple for me to get to and from work. Tower 737 was very supportive and proactive in regards to COVID-19 situation. They would provide free lunches from time to time and one of the residents owns Farm Table across the street. The owner gave free coffees to residents of Tower 737 to help navigate through tough times. Additionally, food trucks were placed outside the building to help with the convenience and safety of the residents. The only downside of my experience with Tower 737 was during my early termination of lease contract process (again, due to Covid-19, I decided to go home). I had requested to receive my final statement and an explanation of my final statement as there were random charges, but was hung up on multiple times, and my emails to the office were blocked (I would receive an automated response that my emails did not go through or the person I emailed was not accepting emails). My final statement in the resident portal was correct one week, then it completely changed the following week with additional charges. I had to reach out to Sequoias main office to speak with someone about these random charges which as a result were removed and fixed. Overall, I had a wonderful experience with Tower 737 and renting here. If and when it is safe to do so again, I would consider renting here again!
A great place to live! I lived here for over a year and was very happy with Tower 737 and the entire staff. The location is great, its about 5 minutes away from Union Square and there is a lot of good restaurants and bars within walking distance. Service requests were resolved quickly and the staff (particularly Brian and Geonette) were always helpful and quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend them!
I was living in Tower 737 started in 2017, and I just moved out Tower 737 in July this year.During the 3 years the staffs were kind and friendly. However, when I moved out, the office said they will check my room first (which I checked twice before leaving), then file me my deposit (the $500 when I began the rent and signed the lease) after I leaving Tower 737 which may take 3 weeks. Now it had been 3 MONTHS (way more than 3 weeks) and I still did not get my deposit.Since I left that area, its difficult for me to reach the office in person, so I tried to call them during the office hours and email them during the past three months. Which got ZERO reply.I may try to call/ email them for a few times but I would say the rental service feel lot more different from when I stayed and when I left. I dont know what should I say...just be aware of the deposit when signing the lease.[Update on 10/08/2020]:Thanks for the reponse, I forwarded my message to the email address you provided on Oct 8th and I will edit or delete this review once I got reply about my lease issue.[Update on 11/07/2020]:Email already sent to the responser. But still no reply of anything which is another extra month. Will sent another email on 11/10/2020 explaining my deposit delay issue again.[Update on 12/19/2020]:Neither reply the phone call nor replay my email. I know it may be a hard time for the rent office because of the Covid, but I think at least the office should let me know the issue and why the office tend to delay the deposit who moved out, and it is already December. Way to long and the custom serive is way more terrible compaing when I stay in Tower 737. Going to update my status of my missing deposit later.Would say the community service is no longer as good as it used to be comparing to the period while I was living in Tower 737.[Update on 04/11/2021]:Got staffs email on March 23rd, saying she will let assistant Manager take a look at your account tomorrow morning which supposed to be happened on Marth 24th. However... now it is April 11...still not get the next email about my account status...which is disappointing[Update on 05/04/2021]:After that email. There is no more email from the staff, neither nor phone call. Prehaps that email is just tyring to mock me...which made me feel hopeful for a while (which was 1 week, then disappointing again) Dont know why the staff sent me a notification email with ZERO effort after all.[Update on 07/17/2021]:Hi, me again. Guess what, still did not get ANY reply from the staff since the last MOCK email. Really disappointed. For the people who want to sign a lease with Tower 737, I would say dont do that. Unless you can talk to them FACE TO FACE after moving out. If you moving to another city, nope they wont give you the deposit, if you fly back to another country, nope they still WONT GIVE YOUR DEPOSIT BACK. Which is $500.For example, I used to trust them, and I said send me my deposit since I will leave the city. And after that, my deposit disapper, I even give them my friends address just in case. After all, I had been update this review for about 1 year, and I will keep updating it until I get my deposit back. Before that, to the people who are considering Tower 737, Be aware what happened to me and be aware about your DEPOSIT.
I moved into a studio apartment at Tower 737 in 2016 and stayed for 3 years. Overall, it was a great place to live. Its super-close to downtown (only a 20-minute walk to my office), is clean, has great amenities (including a gym), and the staff--particularly Brian Burnett and Abraham Flores--were friendly and responsive whenever I had a maintenance or other issue. Despite being located on the heavily trafficked Post Street, the building itself is very quiet, and my neighbors were respectful.Additionally, the area around the building has a lot of restaurants, stores, dry cleaning, etc. (and Trader Joes is just up the hill), so you dont have to have a car or walk very far to get all your errands done. I would highly recommend Tower 737, particularly to young professionals.
Staff are incredibly nice and helpful, and management is really thoughtful. I highly recommend Tower 737!
I loved my time at Tower 737! Great staff and great amenities.
I just moved in to this community. They are amazing. This place is under the control. have a strong management team. It is clean, quite, comfortable, secure and charming. Staffs are nice, caring and attentive.I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
It’s an Amazing building, I love it, the best in the area. The staff are amazing, they are so nice and helpful. They also have a 30 day move in promise where you can break the lease within the first 30 days, and it helped me a lot as I was relocated for my work, and it released the stress of having to worry about the lease breaking fees. I really recommend this place and I would never live anywhere else in SF if I had the option except here. The roof tops are amazing, the lounges and free gym. Moreover, the building is always clean and constantly taken care of.
Super friendly staff I highly recommend anyone looking for a rental in San Francisco to set up a tour with justy Renson at the towers Shes awesome she took the extra mile and continued to work with me my family until we found a unit that was right for us and she got us the most reasonable and affordable price for the unit so we could stay in our budget
Great place to live! Have been here for more than two years and have been very happy - hard to beat location location (5 min walk to Union Sq.) and professional and very helpful staff (Brian, Abraham, and Stephan). Well managed and recommended.
Great place to live. I had the opportunity of moving in this move in in April 2019, Abraham Flores made sure my move was smooth. Great guy! Ask for him when trying to move.
I have lived in this building for the past 4 and a half years and for the most part have loved it and had been very happy here.Unfortunately, things changed. Over the last 4-5 months weve had constant elevators problems in the center tower. One elevator has been out for a good 5 months straight now (from at least Oct or Nov of 2019) and the remaining elevator breaks down regularly. Those of us on the higher floors end up having to suffer the most by feeling stranded in our apartments and unable to go anywhere on the weekends, etc.I understand elevators are hugely expensive to maintain replace and repair but this feels like an epic mismanagement by the building management here at Tower 737. Delayed maintenance - especially of critical infrastructure like building elevators in a high-rise - rarely ends well, and causes all of the building residents to suffer.Imagine having to climb up and down 15 flights of stairs every time you need to go outside, go to work, or even just do your laundry? (The laundry room is on the 1st floor.)No - I could not in good faith recommend anybody live here until this situation is permanently resolved.
Incredible staff dedication and above and beyond customer service!! They should win an award!!
Ive been living here for one year and I was so happy with the staff, they were polite, respectful and so nice. I had always suggested here for living before they change their staff.recently they have a few new staff which are completely rude and aggressive.me and 2 of my classmates which are residents here, had a gathering which was some students and 2 instructors. we were about 15 people and we were talking in the yard together. the staff acted so rude and talked to the instructors and students like we brought homeless people inside and then they said you are making noise, ( we were talking about job opportunities with our instructor ) you must leave building now. ( not in a polite way) and same happened for another resident, they had BBQ the other side of the yard. they were sitting and talking. no yelling, no weird action, nothing. it was so embarrassing, they even didnt try to act nicely or politely. everyone was so offended with the way they were talking to us. I wont extend my contract anymore.
Abraham Flores has been a member of the staff for the 3 years Ive lived at Tower 737 and he has been nothing but extraordinary. I recently came to him with a service request and he went above and beyond his call of duty assisting me. I hope that you know Tower 737 Residents are aware of how lucky we are to have you as one of our Customer Service Specialists. Thanks again!
Tower 737 is an amazing place to live! The apartments are modern, nice, clean, brand new, and perfect for what you need. Not only are the apartments themselves perfect but the building itself has a lot to offer. The staff are always welcoming, nice and available to help. They are always throwing special events for the tenants, they provide coffee and candy in the lobby. In addition, the amenities include a gym, a courtyard, bbqs, a movie theatre room, a beautiful roof deck and a computer room. I highly recommend living here! One small request would be:1. If the laundry card re-fill machine can be put inside the laundry rooms instead of in the computer room, that would be a much better experience. This way, if we need to re-fill while doing laundry its right there, instead of having to leave our laundry and go up a floor and then walk to another building and re-fill it.
This is a fantastic place to live! The location is simply perfect for someone who wants to immerse themselves in the culture of San Francisco. The staff really goes out of their way to make the living experience in the building top notch and they have to be about the most friendliest group I have ever experienced. I highly recommend this property!
This is my second year at this gem in downtown San Francisco. The property itself really stands out from the surrounding area, since as many know, San Franciscos vibe is pretty antique. Tower 737 is clean, new, well-kept, and above all has EXCELLENT service. The staff has been nothing short of amazing the entire time Ive lived here and has gone above and beyond to help with everything from expediting maintenance issues to little things like assisting me when I had a broken arm. Security is very tightly run as well and Ive never felt anything but safe while on the property. The location is perfect, especially if you work anywhere near the financial district. This will be a 20 minute walk tops door to door, and you really cant beat that. Overall, Tower 737 is convenient and for what it offers in this part of the city, it really is a great deal. Ive been 100% satisfied.
I have been here now for 6 months. Awesome apartment community, awesome and caring staff. One of the best apartment experience I have had. Thank you Tower 737
I have lived at Tower 737 for almost two years, and think I know enough about this remarkable place to talk about it. I am a senior and enjoy the many smiling and neighborly youngsters who live here. Jeffrey, the able manager, has a staff that is unequaled in comparable high-end apartment buildings in the Bay Area. The stationary engineer, Chris, is a pros pro, and charming, to boot. Abe, DeAaron, DeDe, and Erica are always cheerful and unfailingly helpful. The security folks are alert and courteous, and Brianna did a recent favor that was above and beyond. The rents are realistic, even low in light of the product. Even the front room temporary, Brandy, is superior. Best bargain in the Bay Area!! Harvey.
It was a corporate housing for me for one month in the city !!! So its ok... apartment is clean and well maintained
First off, let me say I am born and raised in San Francisco, and have lived in many neighborhoods all over the city. With that, here are my pluses and deltas of being a resident here...Pluses:Management is super nice and very welcoming. (My fave staff is DeeDee)Candy Bar! (there is trail mix for those who dont eat Jellybeans)Outside Fireplace that can be turned on before 11pm at your requestRenting any common space for free (with returnable deposit)The Courtyard with gas grill and outside fridge and patio tablesThe mini courtyard on the first floor next to the laundry roomThe studio rooms are smaller but the in closet organizer and organization system throughout the room give you plenty of roomThe murphy bed with loveseat couchDISHWASHER!Thick walls so you dont hear your neighborNice NeighborsCommunity Movie Nights and EventsThe maintenance requests are dealt within 24 hours usually, and then they sometimes even text or email u when its doneFree Wifi on the third floor in tower 2Gym (when I feel guilty for not working out I use it)and 2 TVs in the gym so u can forget your working outCopier in the Media Room.Free fax, scanning, and copying services from the front deskFree bottled water (perfect after the workout)Coffee and Tea BarOne free painted wall before you move inThe staff has always been nice to my friends and family who visitStaff will water plants and feed cats when your awaySmoke Free buildingI really like the older filipino man who does security, he is always super niceThe gift cards! Its fun when u get one!You dont need a car to live hereDeltas:Why the laundry card machine is in the media room and not the laundry room, beats me. It is a bit of a pain.Even though there is supposed to be a rooftop terrace, it has not reopened up... It has been awhile... I cant wait till the rooftop opens...The Valet Waste has stopped service about a month ago (or it feels like), and no date of when it will start again or if service completely stops (this is very small for me though)I wish the Gym, Lounge, and Media room stayed open till 11pm during the week to open with your own fob keyI know someone secretly smokes in tower 2 and cant figure out who it is, cuz many times when you pass by the mini courtyard on the first floor it smells like cigarette smoke, and this is supposed to be a smoke free buildingI will never ever call this area tender nob, which is made up neighborhood within the years Realtors have tried to rename (again Im born and raised here)PARKING! Tell your friends to be green and not drive if possibleThe cheapest parking I found around here is one block away at park 4 less parking garage for 275 a month, thats 25 less...But with all pluses and deltas, I truly love living here, and look forward to going home everyday... my friends say I live in a retreat center... lol...
Love the place, the terrace and the staff!
I have been living at Tower 737 for many years and have observed the management Team change multiple times. Luckily, the maintenance Team hasnt change as much. During my long stay here I had the pleasure of being spoiled by the maintenance Team and by wonderful people like Oscar who made me truly enjoy my stay here. At every request, Oscar went above and beyond to ensure the matter was resolved quickly and to the level of my satisfaction. Should I come back to San Francisco, I will definitely check if Oscar and Ceto are still part of the Tower 737 family before moving back in.
