We recently purchased our first home, a 1925 Craftsman that desperately needed new windows. The office was a pleasure to work with and when Martin, the owner, came out to measure our windows, he kindly entertained our very curious 4 year old. The windows were well worth the wait, because Francisco and Simon did a wonderful job. They installed 20 windows in two days, were conscientious of our newly installed floors by wearing booties and putting pads down and even covered some areas with plastic that we forgot about. The installers were also very sweet when my 4 year old was constantly asking them questions and on the last day, Simon even gave my son an amethyst after seeing his crystal collection. Very happy with their customer service, final product and our decision to use with US Window & Door.

I needed to replace my French Doors. First I called the company who installed all my windows two years ago. They gave me the price over the phone which was $3000 more than what they quoted me two years ago. The original sales person was not even willing to come out because THEY ARE SO BUSY. I moved on. I read all the reviews and selected 4 companies that were 5 or close to 5 stars. I chose US Windows & Door for two reasons, one great customer service, Dan was the sales rep and he was so polite, knowledgeable about the product and answered all my questions. Second reason was their price was lower than everyone else for the exact material, look and hardware. I saved up to $1400 with them. After that Stacy took over and was great in communicating the status of installation at each step. Then Armando and Steve came for installation. They were on time, curtious and did a great job. They showed the locking mechanism and answered all my questions. When when they left, you could not tell all the work that they had done, removing the old doors and screen and installing the new one. They cleaned after themselves so nicely. I am so happy with my beautiful new French Doors, they look exactly as I was promised. When I thought it was over, I get an email that someone will be coming to inspect the work that was done. Martin, the owner, came and inpected inside and out. He was so nice and answered my questions. Martin coming to inspect the work and to make sure I was satified with the work that was done is truly the CHERRY ON TOP of the EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE US Windows & Door has through out the company. I am very happy and so glad I chose them.

We had 3 windows replaced on the west facing side of our home that were in bad shape and Im so happy with the final results. I cant wait for the more energy efficient effects to be felt next year in the middle of the summer vs. the old windows. The instal team was pro and very clean and the windows feel like great quality. If one could love a window, I love these. I Replaced every window in the house, 15 windows and 1 sliding glass door with Milgard. The originals were 25 year old aluminum clad, builder grade windows. Hard to open, leaked air and gave zero noise protection. US Window & Door worked extremely with the covid-19 restrictions and finished the entire house (2 story) in two days because inclement weather was to start on day three. THEY DID IT! I was initially skeptical, but they made it happen. Upon final inspection by the lead installer, he pointed out two rather minor defects and told me that they would be replaced with new units. That too was done in a timely manor. I now have extremely easy to open, insulated (Spray foam insulation), and QUIET windows. I would estimate approx. a 90% reduction in noise.I thank everyone involved in my installation process, start to finish.DW

For some odd reason my one star review I posted a few months was removed!!Please be careful dealing with this company. They caused us a tremendous amount of stress during an already stressful remodel at our house. Retrofit windows install is difficult to botch but they managed to do so. Martin, owner, sets his own rules as he goes ignoring AAMA standard rules and taking major shortcuts. Most window leaks dont show for a long time after install by which time damage to framing around windows is quite expensive to repair. I happened to be one to watch every step of my remodel job and had major disputes with them. What a nightmare!There are many reputable window companies in San Diego. Do yourself a favor and avoid these guys.

The company is excellent! All the people are friendly, professional, & helpful. After we contacted them about replacing windows & sliding glass doors, an estimator was here in 2 days. Two days later we were e-mailed a contract that detailed the specifications & price for each window & door, prices which we thought were quite reasonable. After we agreed to the contract, the owner of the company, Martin, came out to take the precise measurements necessary for ordering the windows & doors & said the timing of the installation depended on the amount of time needed to manufacture our order (about 4-6 weeks). His estimate was correct. They were delivered on a Wed & installed on Thurs & Fri. We were really pleased with the installers (who did not make a mess) & with the way the windows and doors look. Then Martin initiated a final visit: he wanted to personally inspect the job his installers had done. How often does a companys owner follow up like that? If youre looking for new windows or doors, we strongly recommend that you give US Window a Door a call.

The crew sent to our home by US Window & Door were very respectful, efficient and neat. They arrived at the stated time, there was no goofing around. They were here to do a job and to do it well. They cleaned up every afternoon when they were finished to the day even to the point of using a vacuum to make sure there was nothing either us or our animal would possibly step on. We have referred several of our friends and neighbors to them. They did an awesome Job!!

Pleased or happy doesn’t express how much we appreciate the service and materials from US Window & Door.We interviewed five different companies before deciding upon US Window & Door. Why did we decide on them? First, the company sent a photo of the rep coming to our house, with all of their documents proving they were legal contractors. Second, our sales rep did not give us a hard pressure to close immediately. Third, the product was top quality, well-reviewed, and well-rated. Lastly, the quote was a completely broken down quote of exactly what we were getting. Why were these things important? One of the other companies wrote on the back of their business card, three prices. We had no idea what we were getting for each of those prices, plus all of them were higher than US Window and Door. Another company pressured us to sign up immediately to get their wonderful discount only offered to those who sign up immediately. Another company couldn’t tell us what their product line was. If they didn’t know, how were we supposed to know if it is well-rated or not? When a company is up-front with everything, you go forward with confidence.The installers were clean and worked at a reasonable pace, installing both our patio door and large interior window within one day. They were clean and the installation looks beautiful.All-in-all, I look forward to calling them back to install more windows when our budget allows. I have full and complete confidence in their company, products and installers!

I had US Window & Door replace an old sliding glass door with beautiful French doors for me about a year ago. This past month I had them replace all my old windows in my entire house with new ones. I couldnt be happier. All of the installation guys were very friendly and professional. They made sure the installation was perfect before calling it finished. In fact, Carlos actually came back multiple times to caulk and even paint around the edges of all the window frames. He really went above and beyond! One of my windows required new construction and the stucco repair guys also went above and beyond - even repairing below the window opening where there was cracked stucco from a bad past repair job. I couldnt be more impressed with the service and I love my new windows - its the best investment Ive made in my home yet!

Their pricing was competitive on the Milgard windows we had installed, and had a wonderful idea to install small awning windows in a 2nd floor hallway that have given us improve air circulation throughout the house. Something we never even thought to do. They are very thorough when taking measurements and were good about discussing the best utilization of each window to ensure we got what we wanted in the end. The installers were extremely professional from start to finish, and we feel happy about our choice with both install company and the Miguard windows. Id say we would happily hire them again, but all the windows are new and look great, so theres nothing left to do... but enjoy them now!

Love this company! Excellent communication and customer service from the beginning. My parents and sister in law have both used them for prior projects, so we knew we were in good hands. We replaced our whole house windows several years ago, except for a couple of corner windows that we held off on changing, as we were anticipating a kitchen remodel, which would reposition the window. Finally this month, we had them come out and install a completely new window in a new location, and reframe in the prior existing corner windows. The whole project was well coordinated, from the demo of exterior stucco, installation of new, and reframing of old windows, and interior drywall work. Excellent job, and exceptionally well priced. We will use them any time the need arises!

I have used US Window & Door on two remodel projects and they were terrific. I would not use anyone else.

I have 9 Milgard windows that were installed 20 years ago by another large local window installer hired by the previous home owner. One of the windows needed to be replaced as it had badly warped and was fogged up. I called the original installers to come give me an estimate to replace the window. This is a 3 X 9 dual sliding window. When their estimator removed the trim, it immediately became obvious that this was a very bad installation. The window was at least one inch too small in both directions for the window frame, and poorly sealed, letting moisture and air into the house and surrounding wood work. Since I was not the original purchaser, that company would not cover the workmanship or the window. I have long suspected that none of the windows were properly installed. However, that company took 3 weeks to give me a quote of $1470 to replace the window. I then called US Window & Door. I told them that I had some unique concerns about the window jam due to this bad install. So, they didnt just send an estimator out to look at the situation, they sent Martin Whitmore, the owner of US Window, to assess the situation. Martin calmed my worries and quoted me $800 installed, for the exact same window (same brand, model and style) that the other company wanted $1470. That is nearly $700 dollars less. The installers were great! Friendly, neat, fast and expert in the install. I watched them and the head installer explained every step as they went along. The new window is a tight, snug fit. A week later, Martin came back out to check the work himself. Perfect install, perfect finish, perfect price and perfectly happy. Thank you, US Window and Door.

Martin and his guys did a great job correcting the mess that was created back in the 80s when a window was turned into a door. It looks beautiful now.
