PHENOMENAL! If anyone is interested in getting a Brazilian wax, make your appointment with Monique!! She is absolutely amazing. Let me tell you, out of all the Brazilian wax’s I’ve gotten from other places (flashback: ouch!),This place is heaven sent.The place is refreshing and has a calming atmosphere. They offered me beverages and staff was welcoming.Anywho, back to my waxing experience, Monique had such a great method for waxing, y’all ain’t going to believe me but It was painless!! I know right (mind blown) I was surprised. I was even telling her about my not so good experiences with hard wax, sugaring and soft wax at other locations in the past.Monique did the procedure with soft wax, in my head, I was like “shittt it’s going to hurt” since I had a painful experience with soft wax at another location and it didn’t go well. H O W E V E R, Monique was attentive and gentle, the result was beautiful and pain-free!Also, if anyone is ingrown prone (like me) they have this AMAZING ingrown treatment. Ladies/gents/ folks from all backgrounds y’all need to come through here!I’m sure all the lovely esthetician’s are excellent but I had the opportunity to have my first experience w/ Monique!

Very poor customer service. Booked an appointment over the phone. Drove to the location, they were closed!! No cancellation phone call, nothing. Even when I called back, there was no apology or significant effort to make up for this. Extremely disappointed with the poor customer management.

Megan is the best! Had her do an underarm and classic bikini wax for me. She went above and beyond - telling me how to prevent future ingrowns (which I am super prone to) and making sure the style was just perfect. She made me feel comfortable and at ease. Will definitely schedule with her again!

First time ever waxing and was such a great experience and now I am hooked! I was impressed from the moment I walked into the salon. The salon is nicely decorated and very clean and the staff was very welcoming! They even offer champagne and treats!!! Ive had different estheticians wax me from here and they all do such a good job! They made me feel so comfortable and the wax was painless. This is definitely my go to waxing salon!

This is the best waxing experience of my life! Ive been getting Brazilian waxes for almost 20 years and Im never going anywhere else after going to 2 different people and getting the same result. Quick, almost painless and did I say quick? Youre not laying there for 45 minutes dying with every strip. Thank god for bare elegance!!

Late Yelp Post (8/27/2016):I have been to many places all over San Diego, and I must say this place by far has the best service! I had discovered this place through yelp and it was closest in the area so I booked a Brazilian that same day which they were surprisingly able to do so. Upon arrival I immediately fell in love with the place, and not to mention they even offer champagne, tea, or water, meanwhile waiting. I love their decor-its so elegant and classy, I feel like Audrey Hepburn. I always opt for full removal on Brazilian, nothing left. Angie is so awesome, totally professional and such an expert on product knowledge, after care treatments, and on waxing! This is the FIRST TIME where nothing, I mean ABSOLUTELY not a single hair, was on skin. Omg it was amazing, I didnt have to clean up after (pluck any left strands) and I got to finish my champagne while dressing back into my clothes. Such a pleasant experience, this place is definitely going down in my book.And they offer free panties after if youd like to take one home.

Bare Elegance is everything i could ever ask for in a waxing salon. They maintain a friendly, clean environment that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed every step of the way. Whether its your first time or youre a regular, the staff greets you with smiles and has always answered all of my questions. I would never consider leaving because I know Ive already found the best!

This is a really lovely place. I made my appointment for after work at 5, and was greeted with a glass of champagne. Its clean, cute, and comfortable. The women who helped me were very personable and nice. Im glad to have tried a new waxing place and Ill be back in a few weeks :)

Being new to San Diego but not to waxing, and I needed to find a place close to my new apartment and this seemed to be nice, with good reviews. I was pleasantly surprised :-) this salon is clean, organized, and the staff is friendly. I had an enjoyable chat with the girl who waxed me legs. Would definitely recommend to my friends.

Ive been here once, and I loved the service I received. They were efficient and did an excellent job with removing my hairs! They also welcomed me with drinks (champagne, water, tea or coffee) and small snacks. The person who did my waxes gave me excellent advice too about how to keep my ingrowns away. I plan on coming here more often!

First time here and all staff, receptionist and the esthetician, went above and beyond!!! The ambience made it a comfortable experience and Meg went over with me which areas I want waxed, concerns, etc.. all in all Im willing to make the 40 min drive here rather than the 5 min drive to European wax center.Update: Knocked down 2 stars for the wax they use, kept 3 because the customer service is amazing. Soft wax is literally horrible because it cuts the hair rather than pulls it from the root, so I got the same results if I had just shaved the area. I got a lot of acne even after doing what they said I should do post-wax, the wax is just super irritating and removed some chunks of skin too. Definitely sticking to sugaring instead of waxing.

I visit here frequently, and its sincerely the best place Ive ever received waxing services. The staff is filled with very sweet individuals, who are friendly and personable, yet remain professional. In addition to the great guest service, theres chocolates, snacks, tea, and champagne readily available for those who visit. I love it :)

Definitely one of the best Brazilians I have gotten in a LONG time. Deven is very knowledgeable and made it almost pain free. She was quick but also efficient and didnt leave me with patches. I am very happy with my service and will definitely recommend this business and Deven to others!
