This is one of the coolest event rooms in San Diego. Modern, fun, clean, and the perfect vibe for a downtown venue. From our first walk-through with the owner (Jeff is great, even made us cappuccinos), to the moment we arrived for our event, Studio 710 was absolutely perfect for us. The sound system was great, the lights fit the vibe of our event, the view from the third floor added to the feel of it all, and the full-size theater screen will impress even the biggest Yelp critic. The screen is over-the-top in the best way. Not only do we hope to rent this room again, but we highly suggest you consider it for your next event.

One of the most beautiful venues in the city. Studio 710 has wonderful views and great lighting. Perfect for a late afternoon/Early evening event. Jeffrey is amazing! We booked this for our e-comm photoshoot, and it couldnt have been more perfect! Jeffrey was so awesome, easy to communicate with, and helped us with anything and everything we needed. Space is bright and workable to make anything happen. It was a happy place to shoot and definitely helped with keeping the morale up, especially for the model. Has AC and he has an iphone there that you can connect to your Spofity or any music app with and its epic - a good sound system. Only thing that was we kept have to run down to put money in the meters bc we parked right out front (no lot close), but it wasnt too bad. Still highly recommend! Worth your money.

I was looking for a studio where my company could produce a top quality two-day photoshoot for a campaign centered on the companys employees. The guys are great people but they are not models, and I wanted to make them look like stars. We came to Studio710 from LA for a professional photo & video shoot -- Spencer was an amazing help from the start and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a smooth production. We had quite a few extra needs day of the shoot and Spencer was sure to accommodate everything with the best attitude ever. I recently rented out Jeffs space at Studio 710 for an engagement proposal. The layout was so spacious. The projector was crisp which was used to project a video for the proposal. Also we had access to the 2nd floor loft which had a kitchen and lounge space. This area is perfect for setting up and relaxing while work is being done on the first floor. Even from the 2nd floor you can watch what is going on below giving you a nice birds eye view. The natural lighting was also gorgeous. But besides the facility, jeff was SUPER helpful. He went above and beyond meeting up with me to let me check out the place, then being so quick and responsive to my messages that I ended up booking right away. Then on the day of, he assisted with getting logistics down and making sure the whole schedule was executed precisely. Most importantly, Jeff made sure to make the space and comforting and welcoming as possible. I was so happy the proposal happened this place and it now hold a very special place in my heart. I definitely recommend if you want an event here, DO IT. I may even consider doing an engagement party here.

This beautiful space would be perfect for many uses/events and we were able to shoot superb content for a clients media day. In addition to the location being wonderful aesthetically, Spencer was incredibly easy to work with - very accommodating and flexible when we needed to adjust timing and small details. This studio space was perfect for our branding shoot, with such a huge back drop we were able to put up multiple installations for different settings with no problem. As the hairstylist I was impressed with the multiple outlets placed throughout the studio, made touch ups easy. Also, they were very accommodating with multiple fans to keep us all cooled off in this summer heat!

My husband and I had a co-ed baby shower in Studio 710. The baby shower was absolutely amazing and I cannot ask any better.The most of all, the owner Jeffery and the team were very creative and made the studio into the very welcoming atmosphere. So nice and thoughtful people. They are the best!!So, this studio has one gigantic white wall which we used for a big screen as a projector screen, and the two walls attached with ceiling tall/ massive windows. We started the shower in the evening, so we could still enjoy ample of the sunlight and as the party went into the night, we could enjoy the pictures on this gigantic screen. There is a selfie booth in one corner, so guests could take selfies and these pictures were hocked to the big screen. They had good quality microphones as well so we enjoyed Karaoke as well! Food were also amazing.

He replied promptly to my emails, and answered all of my ridiculous questions.This space is truly magical, and with jeffreys creativity he will get the job done! To begin, this space is absolutely beautiful!!!Regardless of what type of event you plan on hosting in San Diego, there are many reason why you should should this place.The owner is very kind and easy to work with + you can rent tables and chairs directly from him without having to look for outside vendors to set it up because he does it all! It also includes a lounging area that is easy to move (has wheels) and customizeThe loft upstairs is kid friendly and the kitchen is the perfect size and space if you plan on using a caterer or home made food/appetizers that need to be heated up. You also have access to your own private restroom upstairs so your guests won’t need to walk outside of the double doors and leave the party!Moreover, the sound system is everything you need to host the perfect event. There is also easy parking right in front of the venue that allows you to unload and keep your vehicle near if plan to arrive early in the day. As with any event, photos are a must and this place will be your photographers favorite venue to work at because of the natural light and white walls.In summary, you will have made the right decision to choose this place! Great spot. My friends’ and family’s app release party was hosted here and it was perfect. White walls are great for bouncing light for photos, or open the curtains and let the sunlight in. Release party, dance studio, photo studio... it’s big enough to make it what you want but not overwhelming. All tools and facilities are tucked away but quickly available. Any deliveries can go from the street to the venue floor quickly. Will serve its purpose for you and the owner’s great!

Jeff has a really beautiful space here. He clearly takes great pride in caring for this historic property and it shows. It was clean, well organized, and even included extras like music and a great speak system, which is a big plus on a photo shoot. It was also nice to know that he had lighting available for those times when extra lighting is needed. I recently worked with Jeffrey for a private shoot in his studio. The overall experience was nothing short of amazing! The studio itself is truly captivating and resembles a blank canvas in some regards, serving as a very versatile and unique backdrop. This venue was awesome! I booked the studio in order to pull of a surprise proposal for my girlfriend that ended up being even better then planned. I went here for a proposal and it blew me away. The natural lighting is perfect for pictures and the white backdrop is amazing. the sound system works very well and can entertain a crowd. Studio 710 was a great location for the look my team and I were looking for. The giant windows were perfect for the lighting we were shooting for, and the backdrop was awesome in that it was completely white. The hard wood floors are in great condition. The couch on the set floor is in great condition too, which allows for another type of setting for shoots. We were able to capture many different vibes in this location. The photos we shot turned out amazing, and I am glad that we were able to work in this beautiful space.

Held a year end event for Taiwanese student association. this place is one of the best venues in San Diego. the space is just right for holding a medium size event. it is pretty clean, and is perfect for taking beautiful pics. Jeffrey is amazing, nice, and has a lot of cool technologies for us to use. definitely recommend this place!!

We recently rented Jeffreys space at Studio 710 for a podcast shoot and we were super happy with the experience. Its a beautiful naturally lit space that worked well for our shoot. With a white infinity wall it could also work well for a product shoot.The best part was working with Jeffrey as hes super professional and easy to work with. He has a long history working in production which really helps as he can assist with setups and make suggestions. He can also assist with rental equipment if needed which was a lifesaver.

I have been fortunate to go to a few events held at Studio710 and have throughly enjoyed them. Jeffrey is very kind and professional with his clients and the guests. He is always willing to try new things when clients ask for them and never fails in exceeding their expectations. I went to Jeffrey because I rock climb and wanted to get some shots of me in my element doing what I love. The challenge, of course, is how to capture climbing in a photo studio setting, but that didn’t faze him at all.The collaboration process with Jeffrey blew me away. In lieu of a climbing wall, he rigged a setup that would highlight various aspects of climbing. He had so many great ideas on how to incorporate my climbing gear, along with various ways for me to interact with it. Also, I am just SO uncomfortable in front of the camera, but he was able to really make me feel at ease.The final shots are above and beyond my greatest expectations – I will forever cherish the photographs that Jeffrey took!

Jeffrey was incredible to work with! His studio is incredible (its even better than in the photos) and made for the perfect space for our rehearsal dinner. We live in Atlanta and Jeffrey was more than accommodating to help us bring our vision to life from across the country. He let us come by early to drop off party supplies, put all of the alcohol on ice several hours before the party started, and went above and beyond to ensure it was the rehearsal dinner of our dreams. Convenient, right near The Gas Lamp district, easy to find, easy access, plenty of grip equipment and Jeff (the owner) was completely accommodating and awesome to work with. This place is a hidden gem and was absolutely loved by all my guests. I was in search of a venue to host a fundraiser in San Diego, but wanted to avoid any clichéd beach themes. Instead, I was looking for something more urban and sophisticated, aiming for “big city” over “beach town.” Studio710 fit perfectly. I highly recommend having your event at dusk; the lights that fill the space are incredible.

Such a neat venue. Jeffrey was really a nice guy and the studio was an awesome place to hold the event we went to.

A great space, great location (near the convention center), and great atmosphere. The studio hooked us up with a good, fast video crew which made the whole day streamlined and efficient. My only concern was for audio (occasional street noise), but this ended up not being a big issue and we were able to get all we needed.

Great studio for equipment rentals. Ive rented the Red Epic packages numerous times and Jeffery has all the gear skillfully dialed in. Hes also very accommodating and great to work with. Studio710 is a great option for Ronin/Red combination packages as well.

This was an awesome studio, and being a person who throws events for a living the ideas and options for this space are endless. Well kept, and in the heart of East Village.

I called very last minute and the owner met me very close to my house with all of my equipment. He provided a run down on how to use everything and was very helpful. Overall great experience!

Super cool venue. The lighting, space and location are superb. The owner, Jeffrey is a great dude as well.

I went here for the Subtle Taiwanese Traits final event for UTA of UCSD. The space was a good size for our event, and we were allowed to set up a photo booth and casino tables so that guests could have activities to participate in. Overall good location.

Space was amazing! The set up and lighting were perfect for our needs. Location in Downtown San Diego couldnt be better. I would highly recommended the studio.

The venue definitely provided an energetic downtown atmosphere for the Head2Toe fashion app launch party.
