EQ Studios is a great place for a video or photo shoot. The staff is great and extremely helpful, and the studio itself is wonderful with lots of nice little amenities. Highly recommended them!

I have shot at EQ Studios multiple times and each experience has been great! The studios are large so you can bring as much gear as you want and still have room for hair, makeup, and your team to feel comfortable. They also have gear for rent and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Another bonus is that there is a market and Sallys Beauty Supply right across the street where you can get food, beauty supplies, and basic last minute items. The private parking lot is nice as well so you dont have to hassle with parking and the bathroom is always clean.

Great experience. Had some technical difficulties and Melvin, Hector, and John were right by my side to help fix the issues. They extended my time as well and were extremely accommodating. I plan on coming back soon.

EQ studios is the best studio I’ve experienced in San Diego- hands down. They are reliable and book me in right away, and affordable. The team is so friendly and helpful, and their studio is beautiful and clean. I love the parking situation, it’s easy to bring your gear in, and my clients love the lounge area to get glammed in. I’m trying the natural light studio soon, but I love Studio A- they have every color seamless and the cleanest white cyc wall. Highly recommend this spot.

Did a couples session on their roof and the pictures came out beautiful. They were quick in responding and accommodating and was given a tour of the entire studio.

WOW! I am really impressed with the staff of EQ studios. We felt welcome, appreciated and well-taken care of when we arrived. The communication was quick and TRANSPARENT. The space was well kept and well maintained. I will be shooting all of our studio content from here on out. So impressed!

We enjoyed working with Hector & Melvin at EQ Studios. Hector helped us with our equipment rental which made everything run very smoothly, especially when we needed to return equipment that wasnt working and Hector handled it for us. The space is comfortable and easy to set up in. They were very accomodating. Just be aware that this studio doubles as an office space so there are often staff hanging in the office part of the studio, which felt a bit crowded at times. Otherwise, we enjoyed the space and will likely be returning for our next shoot.

Hector and Melvin, were very great to work with. Even under last minute, they were able to provide me with what I needed for my shoot.Even during shoot, were right there to help with any last minute things I needed.Will definitely be back!Mark

EQ Studios is family! Based out of my old neighborhood, Barrio Logan, its near everything you could possibly need!Ive filmed two music videos here with the help of Andrew Duenas. He introduced me to amazing people here, including the owners!The whole EQ staff has been amazing to us ever since and I look forward to filming here again when the time comes.

Awesome studio in the heart of Barrio Logan, San Diego. I have rented here many times, and used both Studios A and B. The staff are the friendliest in town and can assist you with any kind of setup you might need. The food and coffee nearby make catering a breeze. The lounge is super cute and all you need for a mid-sized production. All in all an excellent spot I would highly recommend. Thanks EQ!

The staff is absolutely amazing and will cater to your needs 150%. On my last booking there, my client (Im a photog) was late by almost two hours and EQ Studios had every right to charge us starting from our original time slot. They went above and beyond. Not only were they understanding and reset our time slot, but they were also super accommodating during our shoot ensuring we were 100% satisfied. I knew the only reason this was possible was because by chance, there was no one immediately after our original time slot but again, they absolutely did NOT have to do that! Super awesome! 🙏🙏 And the space?? Yep, legit. I used their natural light area and the photos that space yields are beautiful. All in all, this is one of my favorite studios to use in SD and I will definitely be looking forward to shooting more projects there.-Nico

I went to a Picture Party event as a model with my photographer, JP Casiano, and we had a great time at EQ Studios. We used the outdoor space as well as multiple interior sets, such as a red background, a white background, and an artistic pile of folding chairs. My current Google profile picture was actually taken here against the red background. The outdoor space was the most fun because my photographer brought his own lighting and it looked very dramatic at night with the concrete walls and industrial feel. I would certainly go to another Picture Party here and I definitely recommend the space! One thing to note, however: parking is terrible. The lot is small and street parking is scarce. Also, it would be nice to have a more visible sign for EQ from the road. Youll end up relying on Google to tell you when to turn in.

The studio is very clean, fully equipped and the staff is extremely helpful!! Nikki has gone above and beyond to make sure that our photoshoot went smoothly. My team and I will definitely come back to shoot here!! Highly recommend if youre in SD!

Decent studio, but DO YOU RESEARCH BEFORE BOOKING... there are many other studios in the San Diego area AND THEY ARE WAAAAAAAYYYYY CHEAPER. Others offer top grade equipment, multiple scenes and background plus prop furniture for a fraction of the cost of this studio. If you dont mind spending a lot, then go with them, but if you want to save some money for the same quality of service and equipment then PLEASE keep looking.

EQ studio is an awesome place for shooting or casting. Annnnd the EQ crew are the bees knees. Friendly, fast and professional - it was an absolute pleasure to work with them!! :)

I absolutely loved this place. Great value for the money, especially when you get your own photographers assistant who knows what shes doing, and for us photographers that have none, this is great and invaluable.
