So happy with the service and quality of work. Transferred all our difficult to use hi-8 tapes that required our old recorder, to easy to access digital format. I needed a large number of old slides put on a thumb drive for a family presentation over Christmas. I procrastinated and brought the slides in just a few days before they were needed. Kirk was great about taking them and returned an excellent finished product in record time. I was able to share my mothers speech from Gustavus Adolphus with my siblings as well as her grand children and great grandchildren. Kirk did a great job of providing info and trying to help when we first spoke over the phone, and then he did what felt like the impossible -- transferred a 40-year-old cassette tape to a CD. The icing on the cake was that the turn-around time was shockingly quick. If you have priceless treasures that you want to preserve, I highly recommend using Sunray to get the job done.

I first tried Sunray Video in late 2015. Loved their timeliness and quality, sent more in 2016. I sent them 8mm reels from 60 years ago when I was a lad, along with 8mm Hi8 tapes of my children. Now I am needing to get my act together and do more. Started up sending again recently in 2020. I want Sunray to do the remaining 100 tapes.

But, who has a 16mm projector?I contacted Sunray and Kirk responded over the weekend. I was concerned that the age of the film may make it fragile. After looking on the web, I selected Sunray Video Productions to convert all of the old video tapes and movies into editable files and store them on a hard drive. I selected them because they had a professional looking web site with no hype, and when I called to initially talk about my project I immediately got a person who had the information I needed. With the project completed, I felt that they did an amazing job and I would highly recommend them.. They were fast and were always there when I had a question or needed to go over a detail. I had 16 mm movies from 1950, Super 8 movies, VHS-C tapes, Hi8mm tapes, and miniDV tapes several cameras. These were movies from my parents and all the video tapes that I had taken when the kids were younger. I had well over 100 hours of movies and tapes. Sunray transferred them all to an linear editable format, and put them on a hard drive. I checked the material and it was excellent and made and copies the hard drive and sent them to each of my kids (now adults). Now everyone has a hard drive with all the historical family media and room for whatever they generate on their cell phones now. I worried for years about what was going to happen to all this material and now it is all done.

I absolutely love Sunray Video Productions! We found old family films from the 1950s that we thought were lost forever. I found Kirk/Sunray and he examined the films, some of which appeared to have gone bad, however, he was able to transfer the films to DVDs, add music to the movies, and put them together in chronological order! Our family has enjoyed the over four hours of films, which have also been sent to family members who are out of state and who were thrilled to see these time capsules on film. Kirk is amazing and I would only trust him to do this restoration work! The cost was more than reasonable, and the outcome was invaluable to me and our family!

Sunray Video Productions has converted of Super 8 movies I filmed in the 1960s onto a flash drive and received my films earlier than scheduled. The videos they produced was absolutely amazing. I was surprised of the quality of the videos. I couldnt find another company that would convert films with sound. They give you several options of how you want to convert the videos as well as different types of media you want to convert. I am sending them my Super 8 films of my trip to England, France and Italy with confidence that they will be done in excellent care and quality.

I am SO grateful that I found Kirk through a Google search!! We had about 20 small DVD discs that contained all our precious childhood memories of our kiddos. However, as technology is progressing, we could no longer play our beloved discs on our DVD player. Let me just say that Kirk is a complete saint -- he was extremely professional and knowledgable, he was beyond patient with me on the phone as I asked heaps of questions, and he made me feel completely comfortable with the entire process. I was lucky to find Sunray video production services here in San Diego. I had some very old Super 8 & 8 mm movie film from my parents from the 60s and 70s that I have been worried about for years.
