Love this place. They really have helped me stay closer to my child at Rady’s children’s hospital. They help you in so many ways. Beautiful place and the rooms are spacious. They have a play area for children, a gym, a kitchen, extra restrooms. If you are allowed to stay there they provide everything so that you do not have to worry and just worry about visiting your child. It’s quiet so you don’t really hear your neighbors. It’s really great that they do these for families with sick children.

This place is amazing. It provides a place for families to stay that either cant afford a hotel for a month or a few weeks. They have a full kitchen and anything you could possibly need to survive during your hospital stay at rady. I cannot speak highly enough about what this place is able to give to families in need. For a parent who has a kid with a serious heart condition the last thing we wanted to think about was how we could afford a hotel room for three weeks. Hopefully you will never have to use this service but if you do this place has earned a place in our hearts. If I could give it six stars I would. The staff and the family staying there all super friendly and very helpful. I know for sure we will be rounding up whenever possible at McDonalds for the Ronald McDonald House.

Absolutely amazing staff and facilities. I believe there is about 55 rooms, and plenty of comfortable areas for parents and children. From activity areas for the kids to play, to class rooms for the kids to learn, this place has it all. They have an area for parents to take naps if they didnt have a room available at the moment, a chapel, wash rooms for you clothes, personal refrigerators to store your personal items, to a big cafeteria for dining. I really enjoyed the outdoor relaxing area with all of the plants and seating. It was very relaxing. God bless this place, and God bless all of the kids in need, and the staff that cares. In Jesus name, Amen.

This is a nice escape for parents/guardians and family members from the hospital which is right across the street. You can come here and eat, read a book/magazine, or play in one of the outdoor play areas. There is even a barbershop/salon if you need to get your hair cut. They do offer showers and toiletries of you need something. The staff here have always been friendly and welcoming, the food is delicious, its not McDonalds food either, which is nice. They offer a hot menu item which they prepare in the kitchen they also offer soups, salads, sandwiches/wraps if you would like that instead. The House is built into the South Parking Garage for super convenience. I highly recommend parking in the South Garage as the parking spaces are larger, and there are more spots here than in the Notrh Garage. You do have to pay for parking but, you can get it validated at the front desk.

I have no words to describe this place without being to personal. My family was helped so much. So many many many children are sick and help is here! We have seen this place from the inside instead of just hearing about this place. Love comes from all the volunteers. We love and thank every single one of you for your time.

The hospital gives you a notebook kind of thing that tells you about this and that, but its hard to pay much attention when your child is in the hospital for any reason, right? Well I actually walked in this place on accident after having a meltdown in the parking structure once my daughter was in surgery. From the time I walked in I felt immediately welcomed to give stress a time out. I was greeted with a quick but thorough explanation and with a genuine smile. The whole atmosphere and get down was welcoming all the way around. There was hot food, a salad bar, cozy tables, a lounging area, showers, and even a spot where you could rest your head. The volunteers were awesome and happy to be of service. I did not see one parent come out of there feeling a lot better than when they went in. Thank you to everyone who volunteer and thank you to the Ronald McDonald originator for thinking of everything possible to relieve the stress of parents of hospitalized children. Truly a Godsend, thank you so very much.

During our stay at Children’s Hospital, we visited the Ronald McDonald House for some well deserved rest and relaxation. My family was extremely impresed with the level of hospitality and care given to patients by the staff. In addition, the food selections were delicious and my kids who are picky eaters found items to satisfy their palate. Children’s hospital cares about their patients which is evident in the planning and construction of the Ronald McDonald House.

This place runs on donations and volunteer work. The spirit of love and giving thrives here everyday. It was a pleasure to volunteer in the cafeteria today. We served lunch to all who visited. The rooms are very nice and clean and very spacious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They offer free breakfast, lunch, and dinner and play areas for the children. My grandson was in the hospital. This place fed all the family everyday our baby was there. I bought their sweatshirts and we tell everyone how wonderful this place was to our family. We could give a donation for our meals. But many families cannot afford to eat out every day for weeks. The place is close by and offers rooms too if needed. The family style food is really good and healthy. There are couches all over a big room for more comfortable waiting. You are given a notification light up thing that told mom to go breast feed. We were given info and support. This is perfect place for families with a sick child.

I love everything about this place. Being a parent of a sick child is difficult, but a sick child that is hospitalized is extremely hard. They offer 2 meals per day with hospital wrist band, showers, nap rooms, long term rooms, information for people that are there from out of town, place for you to store your food and cook, music, fun, a BREAK from the hospital. The staff/volunteers are very supportive. Thank you for all your help!

Appears to be incredible aid to kids affected by unforseen conditions in their short lives. Often, a concern regarding charitable functions like this would include knowledge of contributions and how they may be dispersed. Hopefully, there is a conscientious allocation here that benefits the families seeking medical and financial aid. Based on my brief visit, I assume that to be the case. Staff, though numbering only a few interactions in my case, were very pleasant. All in all, a memorable, moving experience.

Excellent and clean facilities with kitchens to even cook your own food while youre staying there if you have a sick child in the Childrens Hospital across the street. There is a voluntary fee of $50 per night per family, but only if youre able to afford it. Its like a hotel with private rooms, showers, recreational rooms, fully-equipped gym, patio benches with BBQs, a chapel, laundry room, library, and everything you need to make your stay a little bit more comfortable during a difficult situation like a sick child. They serve food 3 times a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner). The establishment is attended by employees and volunteers, and companies and organizations make donations to be able to run the place. They have strict housing rules but they do a terrific job keeping the place neat and fully stocked with essentials.
