Very Good Thank You
I would like to start off by thanking Jessica Keller for all her help, knowledge and patience. As well as the rest of the team. A friend of mine refer me IRC Instagram post regarding DACA renewals aid because she knew I was struggling due to recently being laid off from my job due to covid-19 and my DACA renewal date was approaching. I reached out by sending an email to the email provided on the post a bit nervous because I didn’t know what to expect. Within 48 hrs I got a response back and I was set up a zoom meeting with Jessica in order to go over my requirements and other paper work. Soon after that I felt more at ease and more comfortable like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. Jessica was so professional and went into detail about the whole process. Keep in mind this is my 4th time renewing for DACA and there are things I didn’t even know back then that I learned during my meeting with Jessica. i reached out back in March turned in all my paperwork and it is now mid May and I received an USCIS letter saying my case has been received and it now in process. I once again want to thank the IRC for their help. I would be in so much stress trying to figure out how to pay and how to file for my renewal if it wasn’t for their help. Thank you, god bless.
The people there are so friendly and patient, my husband and I renewed our working permit there and Lory Pope took care of us as if we were family. She was patient enough to explain things again and again for us. Thank God for all the volunteers there, theyre excellent!
I was so disgusted by my experience here and their lack of customer service skills. Yolanda who is an African American woman who sometimes does the front desk was so rude and unhelpful. I saw the way she treated two non English speakers before me and she was completely rude and made it uncomfortable to ask anything. As I waited I was hoping someone else would do my taxes, but my bad luck I got her. I tried ignoring her attitude the whole time, until the end when I asked her a question and she was so rude and tried to make me feel stupid with her response. When I called her out on being rude she continued to argue with me and get aggressive in her voice tone. There was another employee there who heard it all and did not say anything or even apologized. I work for a non-profit and was so disgusted by my experience I cannot imagine what refugees and other people who dont speak English must feel. IRC needs to do better.
Mrs. Wafa Katto was one of the most caring and hard working employees/case managers I have ever had the pleasure to meet. She goes above and beyond the work that is asked of her to ensure that her clients are taken care of, including working over hours without compensation and using personal funds to bridge the gap between her clients needs and the unfortunately shrinking budget of IRC. She takes the time to get to know her clients and she makes sure shes doing everything she can to set them up for a new life in San Diego.
Was great they help me alot during tutoring backthen in highschool and little staff was nice but years on it became different new volunteers are so mean and the staff arent helpful and so mean even with internship and job searching. They arent really helping me somtimes they arent even trying. as a citziten it feels like they are willing to help refugees more and etc but me they just dont even care as a client. They just discriminate in these services and judge me for the way i dress and my personal look. Seems they care about the benefits for the refugees and immigrants, eapcailly money for themselves.
Excellent! My case was a lil bit complicated, and I still hot the best referral and the best heartfelt concern Ive received in a while.
Bad service. It looks like you are in iraq when you are in IRC office.Keep away 1000 miles from this organization. When you meet Ryan Kaskos & Dhahir those two iraqi people even if u have a master degree they will offer you a job for example (dish washer) or laundry in hotel all they want is to hire you and to increase their points at #IRC
If you are looking to fill up your immigration forms for example fill up the I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status or if you are applying for a Travel Document, USCIS - I-131, Application for Travel Document or if you are planning to bring your family members to the United States, I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, then you should call International Rescue Committee of San Diego or just visit them at International Rescue CommitteeSan Diego, California5348 University Ave, Suite 205San Diego, CA 92105I loved the people that worked there when I needed their help for helping me filling up my immigration applications and they were so nice and friendly and the fee that they charge you is a very little fee compare to other choices for example lawyers.I highly recommend International Rescue Committee San Diego to everybody that needs their help.I donated to them through their website as well as their organization is helping many people around the world!Thank you IRC San Diego!
Theyre Great ! I had a Marvelous experience when I applied for my Citizen ship, Excellents Volunteers helping people to practice our Citizenships interview, 2016 started to made my taxes with them for freeGod Bless all the people at International Rescue Committee.
Staff is very helpful and pleasant.
I was out walking and found an interesting piece of land near the old Kaiser Permanente facility (250 S Travelodge Dr, El Cajon, CA 92020??) The area has a park like atmosphere and several garden plots that are protected by chain link fence. Nice parking lot and sidewalks that wind around a few nice acres with nice city/El Cajon valley view. A few signs guided me to this website. It appears to be a common area for people to come and work to grow food/produce.
Great meeting.
I call them and many time the phone Busy and i left many voicemails fir immigration department never here from them back call or any response need Improvement employee.
