All Around great service. I bought my phone after a great call with a rep named Peter T. He did a great job explaining the options, functions, and pricing for what they offered and I found a great fit. I didnt fill out a shipping authorization (my bad) and they cleared it up first thing next day. The phone arrived as promised and works well. When everything hits like that it usually means management is solid and people are happy with their work. If thats the case then cheers to a solid team.

Ordered a phone through an agent and they messed up the address and didn’t finish the order, I was helping someone else order a phone, so checked on my order and found out there was a problem. Then called the next day to make sure everything was alright, and then they said it won’t be sent out for 2 weeks ( I was told it would be sent out in 3-5 days) the phone is on back order. Seems like agents are not on the same page and give different answers to questions.Unfortunately this company has a problem with customer service. From the last post I was called back by a representative that probably looks at the reviews. she was very helpful and got things rolling again. But today I called to check on my order because it is delayed and I’m not having any luck through the tracking number so I called the representative he seem to be helpful but actually just blew me off never followed through. So far I’m very unhappy with this company‘s customer service

Great staff! This is a must have if you need internet while on the seas, or in the dessert, any secluded location that has cell trouble. A bit pricey for the data, but good for checking emails and wifi texting/calling. Nice solid waterproof case preventing accidental damage. I would recommend the all in one unit if its available. It was not for me, and I had to take parts out and set them up in order to get a signal. Not terrible, but not super easy either. They rent these for $259-$300/wk. Data is not included and is expensive. 150 mb for $500. Doesnt go far unless you keep your surfing to nil and just use the device for emails and short wifi calls.

The ordering was simple and chat was available for questions prior to purchase. After hearing that people strained in Afghanistan used satellite phones to call for help and call loved ones, I realized no one is coming to help you so we will need to call family and friends if needed.

Tyler from customer service made sure that I had the right equipment and coverage plan for the area I will be working in. They offer insurance and even return shipping labels to make the return process go smoothly. They can ship very quickly also which is a major plus. I would highly recommend!!

The staff is super helpful and responsive when you call. The phone I rented had GPS tracking capabilities, which was the main reason I rented it. When I did need to make a call in a remote area in Mexico it went through first time without issue. I did miss GPS tracking a couple days of my trip for some reason, but staff refunded those two days and I am completely happy with the service and will rent or buy from this company next time I leave the country. Great company to do business with.

Had an issue at first. However Crystal J in billing was very helpful in explaining and fixing my situation for that I will be a customer for awhile.

I was told the satellite would work anywhere including Montana, so I ordered a rental phone for my daughter to take with her on a ski trip where there is no phone service. The phone arrived as expected and we tested it (called support to help test) and made sure she knew how to use the phone. However, when she tried to use it at the ski resort the first day it could not find service. She then tried the second day with the same result. The company support line also explained after we received the phone that it will probably not work indoors and you need to be outside with a clear view of the sky, which is not great and I wish I would have known before I ordered it. She did go outside in the cold and the sky was clear, but could not place a call or text. I would not recommend this option to anyone.

I’ve been renting a satellite phone couple of times and last week I was very happy to have one with me. During my trip through Mojave, my car broke down in the middle of nowhere and there was no cellphone coverage. I was only able to call for assistance through the satellite phone. Would have been stranded there for hours if I didn’t have it with me and there are wild animals in the area. I recommend you should always have one with you.

This product would not stay powered on. I tested in NC. I was excited to take it with me to WY. And as you can see from the usage on the device and the plan it was never used after failing to work several times. I have been using Iridium phones since the mid 90s. This one was sub par.

The wonderful staff at the Anchorage location Satellite Phone store spent over an hour taking the time to set up and properly test my Garmin InReach, as well as a rental satellite phone. This was MUCH more valuable than a box store purchase or online only rental.If you want to make sure your new or rental gear will work, go here first as part of your Alaska adventure!!Because of the excellent customer service at the Satellite Phone Store, I was prepared when the park ranger gave me the wrong coordinates for a glacier crossing. I knew exactly how my equipment worked and its limitations, thanks to Ryans expertise and excellent teaching, and our tests in the parking lot. I had the right data plan and knew what to expect in terms of GPS performance.For example, on the Garmin site they advertise breadcrumbs so you can easily follow your route back. Ryan warned me that those breadcrumbs delete when the Garmin is turned off to save battery. Ryan taught me how to set waypoints in such as way that they are also synched to my phone as an extra backup, and how to download the USGS maps that would match my paper maps exactly. That way I could copy my waypoints exactly onto the paper maps.I used 13 waypoints over several miles on the way across the glacier. When the cloud ceiling descended that night, there was zero distance vision, and we still werent across the glacier, I realized the ranger had given us bad coordinates. We did a short overnight in the freezing clouds, then I was able to use the navigate tool to reverse our path and get out safely using the Garmin.If I had merely bought the Garmin at a store I would have never known the bread crumbs deleted and would have stranded myself when I turned the unit off for the night. I also would have been fumbling with the navigation tools and routine compass calibration, which could have been very dangerous. Instead, I used the tool properly and got our group out safely, having only lost a day due to bad coordinates.Ryans care and high amount of knowledge turned what could have been a very bad outcome into a fun story. This is the place you want to go if you are going off trail in the backcountry!!!!!!!!!!!

I rented INMARSAT isathub occasionally for commercial application. Works good every time. The speed is somewhere close to 4G cellphone speeds, good enough for voice calls, email, browsing and running internet reliable applications.

Rented a sat phone for emergency use in August because cell phone service was unavailable at my travel location in Oregon. Tried making calls several times, none were completed despite following directions very specifically. Satellite Phone Store took care of my complaint and responded very satisfactorily.
